Another post-mortem or throwback review. They've closed down some time back and signs show that Rue Bourbon will be taking its place along Aguirre. Been quite sad about this as well since I've only been able to eat here once and loved it. The chicken kebab platter I had was REALLY good. Just as good and authentic tasting as Ble's! Makes me regret not giving in to my "takaw tingin" tendencies and ordering more that time 128512 And the way they prepared the pita was interesting, as you can see in the picture. 128521

We ordered their Beef & Chicken Kebob and Baba Ghanouj which are all okay. Wanted to try their Liver Kebob and Hummus but both were not available. What we loved we're their sauces! Too bad they don't sell them.

Halu to my fellow taga South 128075128075 New resto alert!
Mezze Kebob is a new place at BF Homes ( san ka pa 128521) that offers Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine.
The place: nothing fancy, no aircon hehe! Don't expect the staff to hand you a menu, you'll have to read it off the wall.
The food: Hubby ordered the Beef Kebob (see photo) and I had the Sheesh Tavouk ( fancy name huh?! But its actually just chicken kebob hehe!). Both priced at P295. Although the chicken kebob is good, I prefer the beef kebob coz you can taste the spices and marinade more.
Its missing a star rating coz the wait staff needs more training- they don't know much about the menu, and the common courtesies expected of servers ( lagay ung sukli dapat sa tray, then ibaba sa table, wag idiretso sa kamay ng customer ung sukli, hehe). But I can let that slide coz they're still on soft opening.
Will be back again for the Beef Kebob 128077128076128523 and would like try out their hummus, tabbouleh, baba ganoush.... Next time...Next time...
