I've been ignoring Miguelito's for a time now. I'm always at the Food Hall, but never did try Miguelito's, up until now. My sister got sisig and batchoy. The sisig was ok (or I didn't really give it a chance, cause it's my sister's order. Will try that next time). The batchoy, well.. No. It was too bland if you compare it to the original batchoy in Iloilo.
The highlight of my review is their PINIRITONG SINIGANG!! My gosh!! Sooooo good!! The flavors would hit you in all the right places!! The pork was tender, the sinigang was rich and flavorful. I always eat my sinigang with patis and sili on the side (although, for thier Piniritong Sinigang) A bit on the pricey side though, the Piniritong Sinangang is around Php 190? Almost Php200. I've found my go tiýý new comfort food!! 128514

First time to try Bagnet Salad. Sorry, but I really forgot to ask what kind of leafy vegetable is this (anyone?). It has a bitter taste if eaten alone, but when eaten together with bagnet, itlog na pula, tomato, onion and mixed together with the Ilocos vinegar which is it's dressing it taste awesome! Not your regular salad if I may say. And it's cheap for the price of 95 pesos, good for 2 persons already.

My family wanted to try Halal Guys, but it was a day after opening, and the queue was so long! The closed the line at 7:30pm, so we had to find another option.

Miguelito's is owned and operated by the same people behind Flying Pan in Makati and Franco's in Rockwell, so there are similar items on their menus like the angus sisig. At this particular offering, you'll find a selection of filipino food favorites.

We ordered some of their best sellers: Angus Beef Tapa, Crispy Binagoongan, Crispy Kare-kare, and my sister had the Batchoy. Generally, the tapa is okay... But I like it better at Flying Pan.

They really do well though with their "crispified" versions of kare-kare and binagoongan. It's sinfully good, and tastes just like it should, with added crunch! Exercise caution though, as at the end of the day, it's really a lot of fried pork. And you just can't not eat rice with them! 128517 goodbye healthy eating!

Would I come back? Sure, but I'll have to space out my visits to avoid all the cholesterol! 128514

also I just realized there was an ongoing contest: #loolooexplorerpackgiveaway does this mean I've joined?

For delicious, sumptuous and fairly priced Pinoy food, Miguelito's, found at the Mega Food Hall, will be a worthy choice.

I ordered their Pork Binagoongan (P220) paired with their Molo Soup (P100). Both dishes can be shared by 2 pax.

The Pork Binagoongan was a bit oily but there were so many Bagnet in it with onions and chilis that I really loved. The bagoong was perfectly mixed with it!

The Molo Soup tasted so comforting with the veggies in it and all the servings of the molo that we were able to took home.

Definitely coming back for their Kare-Kare and Sisig!

I was flying solo with a grumbling tummy. I knew just the right dish for me. Heavy, filling and oh so yummy Angus Beef Sisig. No need for soy sauce or calamansi. It was so good as is. 128525

A friend and I both had the Pork Sisig for lunch. It was very good (or maybe we were just hungry). I was definitely full after even if their serving wasn't huge. It was just right.

It took maybe close to 10 minutes for our order because they had such a huge backorder. People would be coming to pick up their orders one by one and it felt like a million people later before we got our order (but according to my phone, it was really just around 10 minutes). I just didn't love waiting cause I was so hungry haha

Had their pancit and angus beef tapa and was pleasantly surprised by how good the food that I ordered. The price was not so bad as well! If you're looking for a new Filipino comfort food this should be the place for you!

Ordered the angus beef tapa and the angus beef sisig. Both were good and tasty. I initially thought the serving is small but it was filling anyway. Would definitely come back to try the other dishes.
Would not recommend the sago't gulaman though.

I was flying solo and remembered the yummy sisig hubby had weeks ago. I went straight to Miguelito's when i reached the Mega Food Hall.

The chefs recommended their bestseller, the Crispy Binagoongan, while i was staring at their menu and photos. The pork pieces were super crunchy i ended up eating more fat and skin than i intended to. The bagoong was sweet and salty and medyo nakakaumay. Halfway through the meal i wished i was with someone so there was another viand. Serving portion was huge.

Their kare kare is yummy but kind of on the oily side. Their sisig, super size one, was disappointing. I expected a bigger serving since they said it was super size. Their sago gulaman tasted like medicine. It was kinda pricey overall.

Hubby and mom in law ordered from here. The few bites i had has convinced me to try Miguelito's next time. Food photos look enticing too.

They tried the Angus Beef Sisig, Callos and Ginataang Sigarilyas.

Pretty plates and homey too.

Ordered the ff:

- Adobong Kapampangan: my Dad and I didnt like it. It was too sweet for our taste and it doesnt seem like it's Kapampangan style, it had too many tomatoes (quartered) and the sauce was thick with gravy-like consistency.128078🏻

- Angus Beef Sisig: cant really tell if it's Angus. The meat bits were a bit toasted and so some bits were bit hard. 128078🏻

They also have Pancit Molo and Batchoy. Maybe will try these next time. Maybe.

Ordered the Angus beef tapa. Was soft but still chewy. :) It doesn't take much to please me with breakfast food!

Miguelito's Bistek Tagalog for 149PHP. It was delicious! The beef was super tender, I think it was beef belly. It was fatty, but I like it that way. :) I actually requested for the fatty parts. Lol. I also ordered their Bagnet Salad; which had mustard greens, tomatoes, onions and salted egg topped with shrimp paste. I loved it! It was very tasty and it had little bits of Bagnet on top. Though I thought it to be a bit pricey, 95PHP for a small plate.

I had Paksiw na Salmon belly for 225 pesos. I was pleasantly surprised to see this in rhe
Menu, as not too many places
Offer this. It was similar to having a paksiw na
Lechon! The flavors were all there, sweet, spicy, and salty ( a bit too much salt for me). It was
Not the traditional fish paksiw that is stewed in ginger and vinegar. I also had the ginataang sigarilyas, which was
Equally good.

Well now I've found another place that serves great bagoong rice! (The other place is Kanin club.) There's still so much to try in their menu.

I forgot what it's called, 'Bagnet Salad,' i think.
The dressing was too sour for me, so I didn't enjoy it.
The 'bagnet' wasn't that crunchy and i was unhappy about it. 128528
Not closing my doors tho, I will visit them again to try their best sellers. I heard their Crispy Caldereta is good.
