Susme, overpriced!

After watching a movie at noon, I realized that I didn't have a decent meal yet. Coffee, popcorn and juice were the only contents of my stomach.

There were a lot of only in Nuvali restaurants but I decided to reserve them for when I had company so I could try more dishes.

Milky Moustache sounded interesting but I ended up not getting a shake as I still felt full. My Fettuccine a la Carbonara was bland even after I mixed in all that cheese. The portion looked small but I sure had a hard time finishing my food. It was presented nicely and I took tons of photos. The advantages of dining solo haha

When hubby arrived he decided on merienda of Baked Macaroni. Although it looked like a giant chunk of mystery pasta, it tasted way better than the Carbonara. It was flavorful, cheesy and a bit sweet.

I loved the details and design elements - the tiny tabletop Christmas tree, the wooden box for the utensils and ok fine the cute heart shaped cheese container. The lightbulb glass for the iced tea was a nice touch.

The couch seats were comfortable and there were several tables who were playing board games. You just need to surrender an id at the cashier to borrow their games.

We were there on a very hot and sunny afternoon. The airconditioning was cold but their tint-less blind-less glass walls and door could not keep the glare of the sun out. I could eventually feel the sun crawling in.

In case I find myself back here, i'd definitely order a shake and maybe play board games.

We were actually craving for halo halo from Kuya J but the lines were unreasonably long so we decided to look for another dessert place. My sister who loves board games was attracted to the sign "keep calm and play boardgames"

We asked for the bestsellers which were the pencil (salted caramel), mario (kitkat), and  english moustache (cookies and cream). Milky moustache offered milkshakes in two sizes but some milkshakes were only available in large. Out of curiosity I asked what kind of ice cream they used for their milkshakes. The waiter told me they made their own ice cream.

We ordered the pencil, english moustache, villan, and avocado. I ordered the avocado even if it looks like the most boring among all our orders because I wanted to be able to taste their homemade ice cream without any mix ins. 128516

The pencil was the best milkshake among all that we've ordered. The caramel wasn't too sweet and the milkshake tasted perfect, making us want more. The english moustache was also delicious. It had the perfect balance of cookies and the right sweetness. However, both the avocado and villan were a disappointment. The avocado shake tasted bland and lacked the avocado smell and creaminess I was looking for. The villan was okay at the start but once you reach the middle, you get tired of it. It was a bit watery/icy. It was missing something we couldn't point our fingers at. Maybe more ice cream? Their medium size is also kind of "bitin" because we wanted more pencil and english mustache milkshake.

Price 2/5
Ambiance 3/5 the walls were made out of glass so you had to pick the least sunny spot during afternoons
Service 4/5

What we ordered:
Pencil (Salted caramel, medium size) P 120
Avocado (medium size) P 120 -
English moustache (Cookies and cream, medium size) P 120
Villan (chocomalt, Only available in large size) P 195
(The avocado and villan were the only ones I was able to take a photo of)

They should remove the keep calm and play boardgames sign because it is very misleading. When we asked for boardgames, they told us that the management has decided to stop lending their boardgames. 128530

After having lunch, circling Solenad, and having a haircut, me and my boyfriend still had time to spare before the show of the Magical Field of Lights begins. We first thought of going to a tea place by the cinemas, since this area is closest to the fields. But after finding out that there are no seats for us to use, we continued walking and found Milky Moustache.

We went in and sat down. It has been difficult for us to find a spot since the doors of the cafe were all glass and all the heat from the outside can be felt inside.

I've known this place for so long and I've always wanted to try their milkshakes. Sadly, I wasn't feeling too well, so I decided not to have something too sweet.

I ordered their House Blended Strawberry Iced Tea for P85. It was good! It was made from a strawberry tea bag then I'm guessing they just added some sweetener. It was sweeter than the usual fruit tea you can get from tea places.

I didn't know that this is a boardgame cafe! Games available are displayed at their shelf. You can request for the game you want at their counter.

I loved this cafe because it wasn't as chaotic as the other boardgame cafes I've been to before. I would love to enjoy their milkshakes while playing uno stacko next time 128522

The place is great! Very cozy and pure with their all white interior matched with their doodle art on the wall. However, I was sort of disappointed with their food. It was a little bland for me as I expected it to be more tasty. Overall it's a nice place with an average tasting food.

To top off our 23rd monthsary celebration, we ordered The Mario and Einstein. We only ordered the medium size (12 oz) for only P120 each because we are still full from our combo meal at the nearby Sbarro.
First sip is so good 128522 it satisfied our cravings for milkshake. Yum Yum! There is still room for improvement though.
We will definitely come back to try their other offers.

The milkshakes could've been better. P150 for a cup of flavored ice. My cousins and I tried the Speculoos Crunchy Cookie Butter, Cookies & Cream, and Salted Caramel. Not even milky, not even creamy. I was craving for a really good milkshake that day that I tried this Milky Moustache, and I actually think that I went to the wrong place.

Solenad 3 takes away all my tiredness after the long drive from Calaca. I dont know but instead of getting naps, i was rejuvinated by tge interesting restos to try out at Solenad 3.
So my first adventure at solenad 3 (well i wont be making a review on savory na..)... Milky moustache。

Milky moustache has a nice preppy ambiance. White yellow and brown are their primary colors. I love how the agternoon sunlight enters the place. Wooden and cushioned are their chairs. The smiling attentive servers are all inside the counter all trying to fit inside. Well, there was one server whos roaming around and taking the soiled dishes and wiping somethings on the chair??!! Really, he was very serious wiping something on the chair...

I ordered
128204Ribbon (nuttella-banana) no way! The first thing i tasted was banana syrup?! I cant taste any fresh banana. Then ice, then "nuttella". I have an inkling they did not use the original ferero nutella... And it was a milkshake... I think it's a roughy! You know, fill of ice granules. The nutella WAS blended well ok, but they quite clumped into each other. Sipping on a straw is really rough. Ice and nutella cannot even enter the straw. I have to use raw negative force.
128204chicken fingers (with honey mustard dip) : this one made the bounce back. Tender moist chicken in light crispy breading topped with herbs (rosemary et al) But yeah use your hands ...and its hot. The dip was really delicious and complements the chix.. However it is place on a small deep shot glass... So difficult to dip and not enough.

Value for mony pwede na.. I guess i know how to feel torn apart aswell.. 3!
