Their Egg's Benedict was at the bottom of my Egg's Ben list. I just didn't like it. It was salty and it was soupy. And the egg... i think it wasn't poached.

Service sucks! It took 1 hour for this pathetic food to be served. Same with coffee- 1 hour to brew???

suprised how good tap burrito with the excellent salsa. I just need to compare with the classic tapa presentation . Good price point and just a few steps away from my house. 128521

I got all giddy happy when my boss told me to save space for some fluffy pancakes as we will have our brainstorming at Milky & Sunny, one of the cutest restaurants in Barangay Kapitolyo, a growing foodie favorite destination. I feel so blessed that I live just 3 minutes away from it (and it already includes a bit of traffic).

When we arrived, the server immediately greeted my boss as they remembered her from the night before. Good memory. :) I won’t forget their names as well—Mai and Precious (My Precious).

While checking the menu, the server gave us water and patiently waited for us to finalize our orders.

We decided to order the following: Breakfast Big Plate—with sausage, spam, and corned beef, hash brown potatoes, and scrambled egg (PHP250), Red and Green Bell Pepper, Potatoes & Sausage (PHP130), Strawberry Cream Cheese (PHP140), and freshly squeezed juices—I had apple (PHP100).

While waiting for our orders, my eyes went crazy with all the cute stuff they used to make the restaurant such a charming place. The adorable paintings of Manny Pacquiao, Mad Hatter, and Rizal were eye candies. The little frames on the other side were really cute as well. I hope that they’ll make the place a gallery/restaurant soon where art lovers could buy those nice décors.

The juices and Breakfast Big Plate arrived first and, well, the plate wasn’t as big as I thought, though for one person, it could be filling.

I first tried the hash brown potatoes and boy, it was really tasty. I didn’t even have to ask for ketchup to add flavor. The sausage on the other hand wasn’t that special. Actually, I prefer to have it a bit less toasted as I liked my sausages a bit juicy and such was the case for the corned beef (yum!). As for the spam, it was not as salty as Spam so it was a good thing. It was not something extraordinary though. Same goes for the scramble eggs. BUT the garlic rice is sooo good that it made everything else great!

The Red and Green Bell Pepper, Potatoes & Sausage omelet was also good. The stuffing was pretty generous as each cut was bound to be MESSY (not messy annoying, rather messy yummy—okay, I’m not making sense here).

Now for the Strawberry Cream Cheese…

IT WAS REALLY FLUFFY!

It was probably the best pancakes I had so far as it was not like the pancakes from other restaurants where there seemed to be more air than the actual pancakes. Also, the strawberry jam made it even more delightful. I just had to skip the maple syrup as it was already enough for my sweet tooth.

As for my drink, Apple Juice, it was pretty good. It was 100% apple (or if it wasn't, it still tasted like pure apple to me). My problem though was that bits of apple gets stuck inside the straw making it a bit difficult for me to drink it. It'd be great if the apple has been more blended. :)

I’d say, it was one heavy merienda.

It's been a while Milky and Sunny!

The first time I set foot to this purdy breakfast restaurant was way back 2-3 years ago? Lol. It felt really nostalgic to be back.

Still the same relaxing vibes and good food. 128076🏻

My friends wanted breakfast food for our mini get-together; good thing we stumbled upon this small, secluded breakfast place along Kapitolyo that wasn't overly crowded as Kanto.128522

I opted for the Choco hazelnut french toast but unfortunately, they ran out of bread. The server suggested that he can make the same flavor using waffles instead. It looked really good but was very disappointing for 180php (they charged an extra 20php for some reasons.) The spread was obviously not Nutella and tasted cheap; the waffle itself was cold and soggy by the time it was served. I guess I just expected a lot more but now I understand why people don't frequent this place like other establishments in the area.

Me and my bf were so hungry from work so we decided to try Milky & Sunny and because breakfast foods can give you energy. We ordered their Whole Day Breakfast. Honestly, I was hoping for something special but it turns out that its just a typical and "I-can-do-it-at-home" breakfast. It was not worth the price, totally ripped off. I also tried their milkshake which was somehow okay. Ugh. I'll never go back in this place again. Yes, the place was cute and attractive but the food and price totally not worth it.

I love Saturday! Basically because it's our family day128106

Our first itinerary is at Kapitolyo in Pasig. Thank God I was able to convince hubby to go here. We had our breakfast at the much talk about breakfast place at Kapitolyo, Milky & Sunny.

Glad we got to park because parking slot is limited. Glad we didn't have a hard time finding this place. Thanks to Looloo app for the address.

The place is small but cute. It's almost full when we came in so lucky we got seats.

I ordered the tapsilog and blueberry milkshake. The milkshake is good but the tapa is just ok nothing special , but to be fair they have nice plating. My family got pancakes and French toast which has a good aroma that makes me hungry.

Price range is 140-180 pesos. Service is good but don't have wifi.

I think I had a big expectation on this place, fair enough

Second time to dine here, this time for lunch. We went here due to my bestfriend's request as he watched when KrisTV featured this restaurant. This is the first time I tried the rice meals. For my first visit, I had french toast.

Food were good especially the tapa but the rest are quite normal that you can buy straight from Pampanga. What redeemed this visit was the pumpkin soup! Will go back? I don't know yet. Maybe? But not for the rice meals.

We wanted to eat a good breakfast so we head out Kapitolyo to satisfy our cravings... I was browsing the net for breakfast Resto and I saw Milky and sunny so we decided to stop by..

Place is really small, it's like a hole in the wall type of resto, so small you can hear the loud chatter from other customers.. parking is limited .128531 but cute interiors tho...

Service is slow, they only have 1 server that day, we had to wait 15 mins for our order to be taken, 10 mins for them to clear out the table that we are to use because it was occupied previously. And another 35 mins for our food..128546128530 (gusto ko Lang naman kumain) and they kept on serving us other table's order..128514128514128514128514

Then there came our brewed coffee... It doesn't tasted and smelled like brewed... I'm a coffee addict so I know when a coffee is instant or not.. they served us instant Nescafé for 80 Pesos! 128548128548128548 we had to order coffee from the nearby coffee shop (Epic ) for a good coffee.. 128549128549128549 the rest of our order was, Choco Hazel Nut French toast 160 Breakfast Platter 300
Garlic Longanisa ( from sunny rice meals ) 160.. The Longanisa was good... It tasted like Baguio Longanisa...

The food was affordable no doubt about that... But the quality is just ok.. Sorry I'm not the type who would really give very low ratings on restos but this one I have to...

I AM NOT COMING BACK! 128545128545128545128545

The most important meal of our day is BREAKFAST! And most of the time, our comfort foods fall under the category of all-day breakfast. Milky & Sunny is another brilliant concept, especially made for people who loves to eat pancakes, bacon, eggs, milkshakes, juices, and more!

Milky and Sunny in Kapitolyo Pasig is owned by tye Magalona Family. Feeling lazy the whole day? Lets see what we can get in this cozy hub.

The verdict:

I ordered strawberry creme-cheese pancake and chocolate milkshake. Whooaah calories all over my body. But i can't resist because this is the reason why i went in this resto. My bf ordered tocino meal with hash brown and fresh mango shake. The food is great and i was so full after having my plate. The shakes are the best thing!

The place: its nice and has a cozy interior. The music playlists are easy-listening and somewhat romantic, maybe because they thought that were on a date. (Me and my bf) :-)

The service: i was a little disappointed with the long-waiting. Considering we are just the customer and yet our orders arrived after 30 mins. Good thing we weren't that hungry!

The price: a bit pricey i guess. A breakfast meal ranges from php 250-300.

Over-all : Still in love with pancakes and milkshakes! And oh! Silog meals!

-xoxo

This would be my 2nd time here, my first time was more than a year ago, so i decided to give it a 2nd try, its still not working for me.

Decided to stick with the safetest order -- pancakes & bacon... It was Ok, though we felt ready-made pancakes were better, & my friend says the bacon tasted like it was cooked in Tinapa oil? But I was fine with it. Haha!

My friend ordered the breakfast platter.. Waffles were like pancakes with a different shape, and the scrambled eggs!! It felt like leftovers -- cold & gummy, we couldn't eat it.

I don't think there will be a 3rd time visiting this place, unless it improves on the food, presentation, & ambiance. Nothing sunny here...

...first time here and their longganiza meal is way better than what kanto freestyle has to offer. So basing on this. I'd prefer this place over kanto freestyle for breakfast if im within the kapitolyo area. And with similar prices, id go for the a/c comfort of this place. Will try their milkshakes next time.

...why 3 stars? Asked for the bill thrice. Took them forever to prepare it.

after taking my orders went directly to d washroom to wash hands... IPIS ALL OVER!! sayang i did not have my cellphone with me to take pix and have the roaches as my models hehehe. Nwey, food was not as i thought it was, i had the omellette with mozzarella and instead of pepperoni had it changed with spinach, for drinks i had strawberry milkshake.
Omellette normally comes with bread and side veggies right? But here, u still have to add 25p just for toasted bread 128542. As for the drinks, whipped cream, strawberry jam (grocery) and milk, that i think were the main ingredients... parang mas type ko pa ang milkshake ng jollibee 128534
