Before heading home, I decided to meet my former colleagues in MILKY & SUNNY The Sunniest Resto in the Metro located at the Eton Parkview, Legaspi Village, Makati City. The place was jam-packed when we arrived. Almost half of the restaurant were being occupied, they're having a Bridal Shower.128112🏼

Although the restaurant were very busy, the staff and crew accommodate all the orders and served the food on time. No complaint at all.

I tried the Grilled Spam and Cheese Sandwich 1108811088110881108811088️ 5/5 with Tomato Soup 1108811088110881108811088️ 5/5 127813🧀127838 One of the best! Yum! 128525

We tried Milky and Sunny one evening because breakfast meals are the ultimate all day meal, right? And I was pretty disappointed. The branch doesn't have a lot of people, and yet the staffs were not accommodating. It's as if they're doubting if we'll dine or not. Then, we ordered this Make Your Own Big Breakfast. I am with a friend so we shared with this 'big breakfast', and it didn't make us full either. The taste is usual, nothing special. I even prefer Mcdo's hashbrown over theirs. Presentation wise, it's good. And they have to be thankful for those bacons! But the spam was over fried. Ugh. the taste was just a so-so. The chicken were good enough. Maybe I'll give this another try, if their staffs are more accommodating now.

I loved the ambiance, its so cozy and not a crowded place. It was my first time my friend and i went there. I order the chocolate milkshake which tasted so good and i ordered the buttermilk Pasta which was so heavenly. My friend tried the vanilla milkshake but he didnt like it and he wanted to steal mine instead. Haha! He also tried the frenchtoast which really tasted good.
Will comeback again since we loved the food, the service and most of all the place! We loved how the placed was set up. We loved the dainty flooring that looked like a wallpaper. The branch that we tried was located at gamboa st legaspi village makati just close to my condo. We just walked going there, very convenient and btw they also serve beer. They are open until 10pm.

The group decided to look for a coffee shop after the yakiniku dinner. We didn't like the vibe of Your Local, Yardstick is full, The Curator can only offer espresso drinks after 6PM.

Exhaustion was starting to kick in when we saw Milky & Sunny. We agreed to try the place instead of looking for another place to chill. I ordered a glass of strawberry milkshake and it was just okay.

It was creamy and refreshing but not comparable to Charlie's Grind and Grill's milkshake. The quality of the ice cream used is similar to magnolia and selecta.

I don't think I'll be coming back anytime soon.128533

Was craving for something hearty for brekky to start the week right on a Monday. Hit the "explore" icon on looloo and decided to hunt down this place. Found out that it's just about 2 doors down from Kitchen 1B.

The interior design and color motif is nice and bright which makes it a perfect breakfast spot. 9728

The menu is a combo of Milky&Sunny's breakfast fares and Yellow Halo's 128519 healthier options with every dish under 500 calories. It's always good to have lesser-guilt options for those days when you need to pay your penance after being stuffed to the brim the night before. 128586

I had their beef tapa which was served with garlic rice that is stir-fried in the same pan with which the tapa was cooked in. The rice soaked up all the tapa "residue" and all the flavors that comes with it which is nice. 128076 Just the way I'd do it at home. The tapa was tender and flavorful. I can say it's one of the good tapas. It's served with sautéd mixed diced veggies consisting of potatoes, zucchinis, carrots and string beans. And half a serving of overcooked scrambled egg. 128528 For the price of P260, I think it should be served with a whole egg's worth of scrambled egg. 127859

A cup of Café Americano 9749️ is P100. And from the Yellow Halo section of the menu, a tomato basil cottage cheese panini sandwich is P145. With the rather small size of the sandwich, it's a rather pricey sandwich.

I have been to their quaint Kapitolyo branch before, so I noticed the difference with the prices of these 2 branches. The tapa in Kapitolyo was around P180 versus the P260 price in Makati. The big price difference I guess is dictated by the location and steeper rental fee. But I think they need to rethink their pricing to be competitive w/ the other nearby establishments which also serve breakfast fares like Banapple whose tapa is only P199 which is quite a hefty serving that can be shared by 2 ladies trying hard to be on a diet. 128513

All in all, food was good. Place has got the ambiance ticked off. But the price is too steep for me to want to come back again and again. 128184

Met up with my cousin for lunch yesterday. Since I had to be back in the office before 1pm, we chose to eat here since it's near my office and my cousin haven't tried this yet.

My first experience here was so-so, and I was hoping I'll have a more enjoyable meal this time. Happy to see that they now have the full menu even though they were still on soft opening.

I was staying away from meat because it was Friday, so I picked their Tuna Wholewheat Pasta (P195) from their healthy menu. A bit pricey for a dish with canned tuna, some tomatoes and whole wheat pasta. It was supposedly "healthy" bit why was it swimming in oil?! 128563

My cousin had their Garlic Longganisa with rice and scrambled eggs (P245). It wasn't that good too. She was able to finish two pieces only. She even commented that Buddy's or Banapple serves yummier longganisa at a way cheaper price.

When the bill arrived, we noticed there were additional charges amounting to a lil over P100. Then we found out the menu price (which ranges from P180- P300+ already) didn't include the 12% VAT and 10% SC yet. 128527 My cousin said it was against the law so she mentioned it to their staff.

I don't think I'll be going back. Too pricey for food that isn't even that good.

Back again, this time with Yina M and Carla M.. Was hoping they had the full menu as promised but woe..128557 Still on soft opening mode! Pffft...

Anyways, ordered the Garlic Longganisa Pasta @255 128070 It was kinda bland so i chopped the Longganisa to small pieces and mixed it with the pasta... Wasn't so bad after all 128514

Yina M ordered a piece of forgettable cake...it was bad enough that we didn't even finish it 128529128529128529 Probably not gonna be back for awhile, at least not until they have the full menu and get their act together 128533

I had the buttermilk chicken, but it was kinda bland and could have looked better considering the kitschy plates. Server was new and didn't know the menu. Cakes for dessert were not available. First table we used was wobbly. Not good for a start up breakfast place

Catch up lunch with Yina M and Julie J after skipping two consecutive NBWs. 128522 I had high expectations after seeing positive reviews about this place, but last Tuesday's experience was not that impressive. This branch is still on its soft opening so they offer a limited menu for now. Their staff said they might have the full menu available within the week.

I wanted to try their hazelnut pancake but they didn't have it on the Soft Opening Menu. 128542 I just ordered a plate of Garlic Longganisa Pasta- an oil-based angel hair pasta with slices of garlic longganisa, topped with sunny side up egg. I found it a bit too bland and oily. Best if you'll mince the fatty and garlicky longganisa and mix it with the noodles to add some flavor.

We ordered Longganisa Burrito for Yina but their staff forgot to note it down. Tsk tsk. 128530

I'm willing to give it another try. Hopefully their pancakes won't disappoint.

It was perfect timing that Carla M asked to meet for lunch because I had this hankering for hash browns! My impression of milky and sunny is a breakfast place and i was assuming it's not your ordinary tapahan. Don't get me wrong I love tapa, too.

The place is aesthetically pleasing. Their signage bright and logo interesting. It's still on soft opening so the menu along with the restaurant is on a dry run. Am not sure if they're going to change their menu vs. their other branch since the menu online looked beefed up. Oops, pardon the pun! My spirits were a bit dampened when I found out that this is their full menu yet, and waa waa there were no hash browns to be had. Since my two chicas Julie J and Carla M were already there, I asked if they could order for me and they did! The server just didn't hear it and we found out when they served the entrees of the two ladies. Oh pooh!

I had the longganisa breakfast burrito. This was packed with rice, with longganisa in the middle, scrambled eggs and a piece of lettuce. On the side is a small serving of salsa. The rice was a bit dry and tasteless so if you didn't grab a bite large enough, you'd be munching on rice that's not too tasty. Moisten the rice with your salsa, I heard my brain say. So here goes! And I went it did it. That salsa didn't help. It just felt like tomatoes and onions in canned tomato sauce. 128555 The only advantage with this burrito was that it was big enough that I had to take out the other half. Could it be that it wasn't tasty enough?

I had to console myself with dessert and the cakes looked delicious! So I ordered the pretzel cake. It had two layers of cream and the other three were of ground pretzels and graham bits? The taste is confusing in a not so good way. You know how salty and sweet can mesh well? This didn't. Julie found the cream part too sweet and I found the salty part un-pretzel-y.

Hmmm, I'm willing to give this resto another chance. So I hope their full menu is better than the one now. Pishposh.

Checked out this newly opened branch yesterday, the menu is still limited since they're still on "Soft Opening", they're hoping to have the full menu sometime next week. The place is cozy, clean and brightly lit.

I had the BLT (bacon, leeks and tomato) soup @125 - pretty tasty 128077.and the Chicken Stir fry healthy plate 128070 @225 - this also comes with a few slices of Apple and some banana for dessert, tasted ok but I wish it had more chicken 128533

Service was slow and still very unorganized, hopefully they'll get the hang of it soon. Looking forward to going back when they have the full menu! Thanks Jacy L for adding this place 128522
