Got excited when I got free lunch because my former team celebrated a baby shower in the office. Got even more excited when i was told, the Garlic Pancit was from Milky Way. Milky Way in Alabang? Apparently they have a branch in Pamplona, Las Pinas. Not as refined as the one in Arnais Ave., in Makati or Powerplant Mall but they do serve the same menu. They are more of a "go to" place for quick take aways. The Sotanghon Pancit we had was pretty good even if it was cold and a few hours exposed in the office. It was flavorful and chokeful of toppings. Thank you Ralph for the free lunch and the dual baby shower celebrants.

We passed by Milkyway on our way to Philam Village. It looked Old and Rundown but it was a Milkyway (i never expected to see a Milkyway in Las Pinas). After Philam we were already hungry and we decided to go to Milkyway and look if they really are the Milkyway.

The waiter said that they are a branch and that the owner is a cousin of the Owners of Milkyway.

We ordered their Beef Kaldereta, Tokwa't baboy, Crispy Hito and Halo Halo.

Our orders arrived in 20 minutes. I was nit expecting much but i was in for a treat. The Tokwa't Baboy was Delicious. It's sauce was just the taste i want in Tokwa't Baboy. The Beef Kaldereta was very tender and more on the Tomato Taste. I prefer my kaldereta the other type, the one with liver spread. But it was good too. The Crispy Hito was delicious too.

The Halo Halo was okay. Nothing really that would make me order it again.

Service was good. They would refill our water glasses when they were empty. Overall it was a good lunch and looks can be truly deceiving.

The worst serviced I ever experienced...
It took us 1 hour to be approached by their incompetent waiter to get our orders.
Will never go back to this place!

Great for drinks! Cheap booze, a bucket of 8 (not 6) beers for only P275. The place is homey and even when the house is full, it doesn't feel crowded.

This is an old-timer resto in Las Piñas where you can enjoy good food and a homey atmosphere. 128522 Do try their classic Tokwa't Baboy, tuna belly and Caldereta!
