One of the most beautiful places I have seen.

Upon arriving at the resort, we were immediately greeted by the staff. They gave us cool drinks while we were waiting for our room to be available. The drink was really good too.

The resort is quite big so there were mini cars (I don't know what's it called) to drive you around. The place is really beautiful. It was so picturesque and instagrammable. They also have lots of pools, for adults and kids, around the resort.

On the other hand, I was quite disappointed with the beach. Maybe because I had high expectations. Moreover, they don't have that many activities around the area. But it was still pretty as well.

Their rooms on the other hand screams luxury. It was very beautiful. Unfortunately, I don't have photos of the room. But It was so much better than other luxury hotels.

Overall, I recommend this place for a vacation.

Land transfers from the airports are pre-arranged and we arrived earlier than the check-in time so we decided to have lunch at the Spice Market. Buffet is composed of scrumptious food selection and the ala carte serves Authentic Bicolano dishes. I recommend travelers to try their Spicy Bicol Express and Unique Pizza flavors to experience the distinct taste of the province.

We are assisted until we reach our villa. Day started with a quick eco-park tour priced at 150Php ($3) per head highlighting the breathtaking view of the amphitheater.

To make our stay even more exciting, we took non-motorized activities for 750Php ($15) each. Package includes non-stop fun of snorkling, paddle boarding, kayaking, and wind surfing. I enjoyed wind surfing among all the activies, it was just disappointing that Hobbie Cat Sailing was not available during that time.

Staff and Resort Crew are way beyond hospitable. They know exactly how to address the needs of guests.

2016 has been an absolutely wonderful year. I have made so many great memories and was lucky enough to visit a lot of beautiful places. Our summer vacation at Misibis Bay is one such example.

My then bf (this is a backlog) and I decided to spend his vacation break locally and just chill by the beach. We agreed to cross Misibis Bay off our bucket list. They occasionally have packages available online-- we got the 3 day/2 night deal with full board buffet meals. This includes round trip airport transfers, a sightseeing tour of Legazpi, welcome drinks, free use of non-motorized sports equipment and discounts on motorized water sports and spa services. They also have an option for unlimited alcohol at the pool bar, in case you want to get wasted. We didn't. We just booked an extension for one more night to fully relax and enjoy our first time in Bicol.

Cagraray Island is really far from mainland Legazpi. Bring Bonamine for the winding and bumpy road trip, seriously. Schedule your sightseeing tour before traveling to the resort. Why? Because once in the resort premises, you will not want to leave. That is one thing that I can guarantee.

I absolutely loved the one bedroom pool view villa we stayed in. It was really big for just two people, but we were happy we chose it. The pool was right across the patio, so you can take a dip anytime you want. It has a complete working kitchen (which we did not use at all) with a dining table. Next to it is the living area with huge lounge seats set in front of the TV. The bedroom is in another room altogether, which actually has its own TV as well. The beds were super comfy and will sure to give you a good nights' sleep. Their comfort room is like a dorm room already in size. Complete with bathtub, rain shower, and luxury toiletries (L'Occitane's verbena line, yey!), it was perfect. I also loved the small touches like providing a fragrance burner to make sure the room smells great and welcome gifts in the form of a beach bayong, slippers, and bracelets sourced locally.

Our days were fluid, spent hanging out by the pool or playing water sports at the beach... They have an infinity and a lagoon pool, both equally enticing to take a dip in. I tried stand up paddle boarding for the first time and enjoyed the experience. Super relaxing and fun, I liked SUP better than windsurfing. We also joined an island hopping tour, but it was ill-timed since it started to rain in the middle of our boating trip. We did see that they have limestone formations in the neighboring islands. The boatmen pointed out some privately owned beaches here and there as we went by. Everything was serene-- clear blue water all around. We also explored the nearby Cagraray Eco Park, but that's a whole different review.

Nights were likewise fun at the resort, especially during weekends. The typical weekday dinner is turned into a poolside party. There is a band set-up and people are even welcomed to sing "onstage". The grill is out and you can wait for freshly cooked liempo and chicken to be placed on your plate. They have a long list of cocktails available, but I settled on beer. The food tasted great actually, something I don't expect from resorts. However, Misibis Bay is being managed by Enderun (acquired not so long ago), so expect quality dishes throughout your stay. I particularly enjoyed their pizza, in case you will go ala carte.

Watching the sunset in this place is unforgettable. The blue sky transforms into the Divine's canvas painted deep red and orange. The ocean mirrors the fiery colors as the sun descends into hiding. It is such a romantic sight, best shared in the arms of someone you love.

Other than the beautiful ocean, peaceful atmosphere, delicious food and views that will make you fall in love, I highly recommend their spa. Book well in advance because the slots get filled up fast. Their signature massage is probably the best way to end your vacation. I felt like jelly after-- a wonderful, uber relaxed, sleep-in-the-next-day kind of way.

I must mention that the service is excellent. Everyone you meet has a ready smile, very polite and eager to help. They look like the enjoy their job; then again who wouldn't enjoy working in paradise? They have perfected the equation for a truly memorable getaway.

Note that the resort has a picturesque view of Mt Mayon from its location-- a reminder of the natural beauty our country is so blessed with. We take it for granted but the Philippines has boundless splendor to be explored, enjoyed and treasured. Travel more and travel local!

Happy 2017!127752

This is not the first time I visited Misibis. And I'd love to visit again.. The place is so relaxing away from the city and the staff are very nice.. They provide good service from the porters to the restaurant staffs, bartenders and the people are so nice..

The place is very relaxing.. The pool are well maintained.. Though they still need to add more menus for the foods..

Will visit the place again.. 128522128525

I've been dreaming to be able to stay at this place ever since I saw it on travel fairs. But it's damn expensive cause it's a 5 Star Resort so I know there's no way i'll be able to go here. Luckily, I am blessed enough to be able to experience the beauty of Misibis Bay for Free because of my job128521 We had a wedding in Bicol, and the reception was held at Misibis Bay. Most supplier's were given FREE STAYCATION. So I had to make the most out of it and therefore, giving you a review!

Misibis bay is 45 min to an hour away from Naga Terminal. There's really no traffic in the area so ganyan talaga siya kalayo. 30 min by fast water craft and 15 min by helicopter.

Upon entering the resort, they will give you a MISIBIS BAY SOUVENIR BRACELET plus a pandan juice welcome drinks. They will bring you to your room by riding a cart because the villas are apart from each other.

🛌BEDROOM: We stayed at a double bedroom in a villa which is like a dorm type. It has a common pool, and around 4 bedrooms per floor. I was surprised how big the resort is, medyo malayo pa yung villa namin. Akala namin maliit lang, pero may mga tagong villas pa behind the resort.

Inside the room, the shower is separated from the toilet area. There's a heater and bidet. Sad lang there's no hair dryer. Medyo pet peeve ko talaga ang bidet and hair dryer cause it lessens the inconvenience. 128541

They have a complimentary water and tea. Also, organic shampoo, soap, conditioner, shower gel and toothbrush set which you can use or take home as souvenir. Grabe it's so organic, so bango. Hindi siya chipipay, and branded siya.
Others: Bathrobes, Towels, Hanger, Cabinets, Comfy Pillows, Blankets

💯 Ang sarap ng tulog ko!!! Sobrang lambot ng sheets and comforter. Ang lamig pa ng aircon, cozy!

Other Amenities: Spa, Fitness Center, Activity Center

127881The reception of the wedding is an outdoor event. So open air siya pero sobrang relaxing dahil tahimik plus beach front. The ceremony was held in a chapel just below the resort, around 5-7min away. IT IS SO BEAUTIFUL. The chapel is facing the ocean, honestly I want to get married here. Sobrang ganda. The event had fireworks in the end, and it was so magical lahat kami teary-eyed.

127754 Medyo mabato yung beach so di siya masyado ideal for swimming. Though recommended siya for activities cause they have a kayak which you can use for free plus jetski. Sobrang ganda ng view.

128166They have 3 pools. 1 Infinity pool and 2 lagoon pools. The infinity pool have a BAR in the pool mismo. You can order alcoholic beverage, soda and fruit shakes. Chill lang sa umaga! The water temp is also good hindi ka giginawin. Sobrang lawak pa ng pools, the lagoon pools are literally in front of some villas so you can just jump and swim right away!

128134🏻They have very friendly attendants. Usually we ask for extra towels, extra pillows and comforters, and they will gladly give it to you right away.

128663 They have a cart which can transport you from your villa to the pool. Since the resort is big, recommended talaga siya if malayo yung villa mo to the beach. This is for free!

127828 I guess you'll have no choice but to eat at their restaurant because it's the most convenient choice you'll have. Masyadong malayo sa main city yung Misibis para lumabas kapa just to eat. Medyo nakakahilo din yung byahe kasi akyat baba ng bundok. Plus it's a 45 min ride back!

Breakfast: So so lang. Though maraming choices wala namang unique about it. Highlights: Champorado, Omelette, Beef Tapa - Hindi masyadong masarap ang food dito. Usually malamig na lalo na kapag buffet. Tapos parang luma na siya, though I heard yung mga ingredients na ginagamit nila imported.

NOTE: ❗️Misibis has a reputation of customers losing their personal belongings while it's inside their rooms. As in nakawan level. In fact, the bride of our event lost her engagement ring and a P2,000 inside her room. Pagbalik niya after a swim, wala na. So better place them sa security box which has a code number naman. For us, good thing wala naman kaming naexperience na ganon.

Overall Rating: 5/511088
YES. YES. YES. No doubt that I will have to come back if I'll have the chance. If possible, I want to get married here in the future. ALL IN ONE na siya. Maganda yung resort, maganda yung chapel. Maganda yung view, the main CON lang is masyadong malayo. Pero sobrang worth it talaga yung view at yung ambiance. It has a special place in my heart now.

7 awesome things to do at Misibis Bay

1. ATV ride to the hilltop, with cocktails setup waiting at the 5 Views.
2. Sunset cruising around Sula Channel with Mt. Mayon as an alluring water background.
3. Private lunch by the beach, which you can have all to yourselves.
4. Scuba diving for beginners. You'll love it more if Alex, from the recreation team and who is also a certified dive master, accompany you in this activity. He's in love with his job and it shows in his enthusiastic approach towards the activities offered by the resort.
5. Watch sunrise before your private pool. The coffeemaker in the mini bar allows sunrise watching with hot coffee.
6. You may just want to stay in your luxury villa with its inviting beds and private pool and read a book or swim while enjoying bite-sized snacks with a wine.
7. Try bicol food like adobo sa asin, kusido, pinangat, bicol express and seafood pancit.

PS I was there for work. While this kind of luxury is way out of my budget, I can say that it's not overrated. The breakwater that makes sports activities possible at the resort entails cost. The villas live up to luxury standards. But there's one aspect that sure needs improvement--- the menu. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay there.

Thank you Misibis Bay!

The place is perfect - beautiful beach, lovely pool, and well-appointed spacious villa.

However, what truly made our visit incredible was the people. The service is impeccable. We had just slipped into the pool when out of the blue Karl the lifeguard came scurrying over with two glasses of water and a huge bowl of fish crackers. Whenever we were in the pool, Karl was always nearby - refilling our waters, fluffing the towels and bringing more fish crackers. He chatted us up and gave us tips on places to go and food to eat in Legazpj. We were so impressed.

At the restaurant, the waitstaff was attentive, accommodating and knowledgeable. Albert - our waiter offered us complimentary iced teas. Over the 3 days of our stay He recommended the Bicol Express, the Deconstructed Caesar Salad and the Fried Adobo which were all terrific. We also tried the delicious Molten Lava cake. He sold us on a P1,299 all you can drink all day package which was a great deal. My boyfriend got happily drunk off that one. The other waiters, though we did not get all their names were also friendly and helpful. My glass of water never went empty. Needless to say we were never hungry our entire trip.

The staff spoiled us terribly. the food was so good I surely gained some weight. This was the epitome of a vacation.

- food is generously portioned! Keep this in mind when you order.
- if the price is right go for an on-site upgrade when you arrive. The poolside villas are nice.
- if the resort is not so full ask for an upgrade which they might do for free.

Not that the resort is not nice but I guess I didnt enjoy our vacation that much because of so many guests during our stay. As in literally SO MANY. Parang dinaanan ng bagyo yung buffet table. I don't wanna be rude but there was this certain one big hungry group who guarded the food like they're the only ones who are gonna eat. They took turns in scooping (Yes, SCOOPING!) big portions of food even if they saw that there are still other guests in line. Can't even swim in peace because they invaded the infinity pool, ikaw na ang mahihiya na magswim dun sa dami nila.

The whole resort is nice. Beach is okay. Some guests were not.

Went here for our first year anniversary.

The room was spacious. I specifically liked lounging on the sofa daybed by the window. Our room is facing the sea so the view was amaaazing! I really love the sight of the beach early in the morning.

Choice of food was very limited. There was even a night when we can't seem to choose any of the food they offer 128529 Nakakasawa.

The facilities need to be updated/cleaned, some areas kinda looks old already esp the pool area near the hotel rooms.

There were a few guests during our stay, probably because it was a non-peak season. I feel like we owned the whole place.

We stayed here for 3D2N. Not so sure of the price or package though since this was hubby's surprise for me :)

For our family getaway this summer, we went to Albay and stayed in Misibis Bay. Though at first, the staff was too busy to attend to us, we had a nice stay. The food was great, the view is perfect, the ocean and the swimming pools are very calming, and the staff is friendly. Great place to go to!

Celebrated our sons' birthdays here. We have no complaints - everything was perfect! The staff were all so accommodating and hospitable, from the moment they picked us up from the airport to the time they dropped us off. We received complimentary drinks and massages upon arrival. They were always attentive, and they even prepared a special table with balloons and cakes on the 24th! Our room was well kept, plus they provided us in-room snacks after a day in the sun! The pools and the beach were attended to by lifeguards all the time. Our kids also loved the infinity pool bar - their fave drink was vanilla ice cream milkshake. The buffet spread was nice, I think I gained 10 pounds from all the eating 128522. We had loads of fun at the playroom too. Overall, it was total R&R 9786

I stayed from Feb 5-8 after my ocular visit last January.
I have made a lot of friends here. The chef head and the rest of the kitchen team are such darlings.
You'll love the food and their generosity.
Place is very nice, relaxing and serene.
Service is really fast.

I can't be particular on the food because they made it a good haven during our stay.
Must try though are the food from live cooking's grilled station, corned beef, tinamok, chicken binakol ( it will keep you coming for more bowls) and a lot more

Waving hi to Mike, Chef Nikki and Faisan, Rafa, Bianca, Lisa and the rest of the team.

Misibis Bay is a good place if you want a secluded place. Food is really good as they have a new cool Chef in the Spice Market. Service used to have a bad review but now, I can recommend a good review for their staff.
Good view, good food and good feel ... Nice areas for recreation.

I think I'm getting the hang of this selfie vis-a-vis the background! Hehe this resort is far, but far-better than the ones in batangas. This exclusive resort in Legazpi is very strict with walk-ins. In fact, its not allowed. Prior reservation is required. But its all worth the wait! Food is better outside the walls of the resort - local food is king! They have an array of amenities like infinity pools, villas, and an open air resto. They also have an activity park, where you can zip line, obstacle course, and a lot more! The view is superb, don't you agree? :)
