My feet brought me to Mister Kabab this lunch hour and ended up having Lamb Chelo Kabab (180php). I love that it's tasty without being too oily and that hefty rice serving. I like their Middle Eastern interior-- very clean and bright. 128522

I was too happy that Mister Kabab had a branch in Cubao. Yahoo! Saves me time and energy to go to West Ave for this.

Anyway, this branch doesnt have the al fresco feels of that at west ave but they still serve good kabab.
Too bad in two occasions that ive tried it here, the ox brain was not available. Boo!

But if you're in need of that persian fix, this is a go to place. Affordable meals. Good service. Ayus!

Mister Kabab and i go way back.  I used to visit their QC branch after a night at Dredd.  Yeah,  that's how i roll ages ago.

We decided to have lunch at Mister Kabab before i head home.  Good thing they have opened branch in Cubao.  Lunch comprises of the following:

Shawarma Platter.  Huge serving of seasoned meat served alongside veggies.  The meat is juicy and tender and oozing with flavour.  Best eaten with their white sauce or naked - whatever tickles your fancy.  And MK's sauce is unlimited,  you don't have to pay extra unlike the others (yes,  I'm referring to the kid from NY).   And oh,  this awesome platter will not put a dent on your wallet.

Keema with Eggplant.  For those who isn't familiar with Keema,  read on and donate some of your hard-earned dough to the nerds of Wiki

Keema is traditional South Asian meat dish. The word may be borrowed from Greek χυμὸς and originally meant minced meat. It is typically minced mutton curry (lamb or goat) with peas or potatoes. Keema can be made from almost any meat, can be cooked by stewing or frying, and can be formed into kababs. Keema is also sometimes used as a filling for samosas or naan.

MK's Keema is a steal for php 140 (i think).  The minced meat is seasoned well and goes well with the eggplant.  Best eaten with massive amounts of white sauce.  The combination of meat and eggplant removes the guilt feeling as you can have your share of Grow and Glow foods.

Basmati Rice.  Single serving for php 80, topped with a miniscule block of butter.  This is the type of grain best paired with anything MK has to offer.  Long grain rice,  lightweight in appearance,  a lil bland compared to the Thai and Japanese variant.  The butter add a lil oomph,  too bad they charge extra for additional miniscule cube.  If you dig butter,  might as well bring some extra cubes.

Yogurt Shake.  Refreshing,  not too sweet,  subtle tart from the yogurt.  Relatively cheap too (not unlike the one i had before *smirk).

Overall,  we had a good lunch experience at MK.  Good food and affordable price.

After my escapade at Rave Rainforest Adventure Park, Pasig City. I went to Cubao to have lunch.

By that time, I am craving for Kabab and Keema and I remember that Mister Kabab had a Cubao branch already located at the Manhattan Parkview, Araneta Center, Cubao, Quezon City. Then I went there for lunch.

I choose Special Chelo Kabab (Beef) for Php190.00 it comes up with Rice and Keema (Ground Beef with Tomato and Chili) for Php110.00, with extra eggplant add Php15.00 or you want it sizzling for a total of Php180.00.128046

Special Chelo Kabab - 11088110881108811088️ 4/5

Keema (Ground Beef with Tomato and Chili) - 11088110881108811088️ 4/5

The two dishes were not complete if there's no white and red sauce. The white sauce is the legendary garlic sauce and the red one is the hot sauce, tomato base. 127813

Mister Kabab have several branches in the metro. I remember my first time ate here (not in this branch) since I was in college. The first branch was in Delta, Quezon City and moved to West Avenue, Quezon City.

Nothing change with the quality and taste of food with Mister Kabab except the interior, it is more bright and elegant. A little sosy thing upgrade. LOL 128514

Regarding the service, they still served fast. The staff are very accommodating and polite. 128077🏼 I think this is their secret to stay in the business and grow more. I need to mention also the delicious and affordable food they're serving. 128515

Shakes are good. You can choose from different flavors.

I had my usual Special Chicken Chelo and Hummus but its way too different with how they do it in West Ave Branch.

Staffs are okay.

I'm no food critic but I need to eat.

• Their yogurt shake was great. I might come back to this place just for it.

• The special chelo kabab was good. I'm no expert when it comes to kababs but the meat served was tender. I wish they were generous on the butter and did not put the sliver of butter on the side of rice.

• The ox brain was served a bit cold. I did not finish it.

• Their wait staff were nice.

Very different taste and texture compared to the Ayala Technohub! The chicken special chelo kebab I got was dry. And the garlic sauce hardly tasted like it. 128533

A plateful of tender & juicy SHAWARMA paired with unlimited garlic mayo & hot sauce can really ruin your diet but definitely, all worth it! 128075🏼

I only order the same dish here, because it never fails: keema and pita bread, drenched with Mr. Kabab's yummy garlic yoghurt and chili sauce.128523

My boyfriend ordered their chicken chelo kebab, which tasted okay, but was kinda dry.

I love shawarma! So I'm a bit biased to anything that tasted like shawarma..hehe. 128540 I ordered here their shawarma plate paired with pita bread, while my friends had kebabs and shawarma pizza. I like the taste of the shawarma but nothing special. Their melon shake is good though. The kebabs are cooked well and had just the right softness but lacks that distinct flavor to make you distinguish it as their own. We did not like the pizza at all for some reason. It's kinda bland and dry. Not worth ordering. Price is reasonable and ambiance is simple and neat.

Beef keema with eggplant is the best and their serving really fills up your tummy. Beef chelo kabab is alright.

I love this branch since it doesn't get as crowded as the one in west ave. I had the kebab sandwich and it was so good! On my 2nd visit, i tried sizzling keema which was just okay, i didn't like the gravy that came with it.

I've eaten in Mister Kabab Cubao twice and my experience has been consistent so far, as with my experience in its West Avenue branch.

I always order the Special Beef Chelo Kebab no matter which branch I'm in. For Php 180, you get two slices of beef, two pieces of grilled tomato, and steaming rice paired with a cube of butter. The waiter will ask if you want both beef slices to be made of minced meat or tenderloin cuts. During the two times, I chose a mixture of both. The beef slices were flavorful but I found the tenderloin beef chelo kebab a little tough to chew on.

Mister Kabab's unlimited garlic yoghurt sauce and spicy sauce saves the day all the time and makes the experience worth it, on the other hand. I love it. We also ordered Ox Brain but it was quite disappointing to be honest. Was it supposed to be served cold? Anyway, I've tasted better ox brain in other restaurants.

Service was also good and quick. The place was big and clean but lacked the moody vibe it had in its West Avenue branch.

I'd definitely visit again for its beef chelo kebab, hands down.

Mister Kabab opened several branches in different locations lately and I have to say that the quality of their food diminished significantly. I used to love their keema during their heydays at their main branch in West Avenue, QC. Now, their food tastes dry. Their yogurt shakes are still great, though. If you're craving for Persian food, I guess Mister K is acceptable.

It's a clean affordable place to get your chelo kebab fix. I was craving for beef chelo kebab and had the special (2 sticks) for around P180. In some restaurants I would have spent around P235.

I wasn't too hot about the taste of the beef. I somehow prefer Persia Grill, Persiana and Habib. Hmm... maybe my taste has changed? The beef had a charcoal smell and a too herby taste..

Plus plus points though for the glop of butter which really covered the rice. (I love butter!)

This branch is nice and clean, the staff were courteous as well.

I was so excited to see this branch in Cubao. Finally may malapit na sa home turf. The place is nice (medyo sosyal looking compared to West Ave. at walang lamok 128539) but the A/C was not turned on when we went in. They only opened it when a group of 6 entered the place. 128533

Anyway, hubby ordered the usual Special Chelo Kebab and as always it's good! 128523 I usually regret not ordering it but I wanted to try their other food so just settle for a few bites from his plate.

I had Sizzling Keema instead and upgraded my rice to Biryani for an additional Php15. Big mistake!

I tasted the beef and rice separately and it's good. BUT when I ate them together, omg ang anghang! 128548 Galit yata ang cook sakin. All of those green stuff on my rice were actually green chili. I thought they were green onions! I love spicy food and always request for labuyo when the meal usually comes/needs a dip but this mix is beyond me. I finished it anyway (mostly just keema) because sayang ang bayad haha!

Good thing I ordered the yogurt shake which helped ease the spiciness of my dish.

My mistake for ordering it but would have appreciated it if the waitstaff made a disclaimer or something lol! Oh well lesson learned. Don't customize your meals. 128514

I had a kabab sandwich. It was not bad, but I can't say that it was good either.
