Included in our overnight accommodation at Seda Hotel Nuvali is a breakfast buffet for two.

Proceeded to Misto at around 8:00am and the restaurant is full. Better to start the day with a gym workout, swim laps, or few walks at the lanai before the breakfast feast.

Replenishment of food trays takes awhile. Platter of bacon is just served at 9:00am and it’s the only thing I’m looking forward to. There is a variety of food selection. Taste is not inspiring but still okay. The bread and pastries is my favorite corner. Consumed a handful of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies.

Last November, we had breakfast buffet here while we were checked in for the weekend. I'm not a morning person and I sleep in as long as I can. If I don't need to follow a schedule, I wait until the last hour or so to avail of the hotel's breakfast buffet.

Misto has quite a breakfast buffet spread from a salad bar, bread section, your usual breakfast fare, cereals, other viands that are good for lunch or dinner, a desserts section and a self service drinks station. They cook omelettes on the spot too.

My favorites
🔹bacon - quickly disappears, seems like they bake it as it didn't shrink
🔹crispy dried fish - not sure if it was danggit but my breath and burp smelled for hours
🔹mini tomatoes w/ melted cheese
🔹salmon pasta
🔹chocolate crinkles

Skip the ff
🔹chicken bbq
🔹pesto pasta

I like that they mix up the food. Some items were available on Saturday but not on Sunday and vice versa. There were also some desserts that weren't displayed on my first round but were there on my 2nd.

It seems like they do not open the aircon in the morning. I brought down a jacket and didn't use it. At the end of my meal I was feeling hot already.

Overall, not bad for hotel food although I was pretty happy with just my bacon and omelette.

Ordered Kare Kare, buttered chicken, and pork belly. Kare kare's sauce was good but the beef wasn't tender. Pork Belly was actually just inihaw na liempo. They just added fries. Buttered chicken was ok.

Service was also not that good as with only 4 tables in total it took some time for our food to be served. Same story with the bill. They apologized for the wait but perhaps couldve also set our expectations in the beginning. You dont expect to wait around 30 mins with only 4 tables to wait on.

I was expecting more as this was a hotel resto. If not for the buttered chicken this easily could've been 1 star.

Open from breakfast till 10pm. Relaxing place with glass widows overlooking tagaytay, makiling and the stretch of Nuvali blvd. Food is just ok, I like their salmon minus the risotto. Tried also their dinner buffet.... Hmmm no comment :) I wish to try their breakfast soon. Let's see...

Had the opportunity to try out Misto during our stay at Seda. Misto boasts of American, European and Asian cuisines and makes your breakfast extra memorable. Tried out their breads, pasta, sausages, arrozcaldo - all our flavorfully good!

We noticed though that the menu has been adjusted to the international palate, that is, majority of their food items have been made not too salty nor too sweet and made it just right.

Just as expected, dining attendants are prompt and courteous. You'll love dining by the poolside or watching your kids swim while they're playing around the pool.

What's not to love here at Misto?!

What a lovely Sunday last week at Misto Dining Restaurant at the lobby of Seda Hotel Nuvali.127860

Stayed last Oct 25-26 (Sat-Sun) at Seda hotel Nuvali for staycation with my family to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. If you ready my previous blog about Seda Hotel Nuvali on how romantic they arranged our room for us well Misto Dining Resto did a great job too.

We had a complimentary breakfast for two at Misto then ordered breakfast platter for my kids, toasted bread with eggs , bacon , etc and hot choco. Kids finished their meals immediately because what's good about Misto is that it's just beside the kids playroom and the game room . Kids really love playing there. That's why hubby and I had a quality time having our breakfast on the day of our wedding anniversary.

Misto offers a great selection of food including beverages. Their staffs were really attentive to our needs and it was an outstanding service. I ask one of the staff that I will ordered a gelato and hope they could help me prepare something for it for my hubby with a greeting of happy anniversary

When were almost done I made a go signal then the chocolate ice cream was put into an orange then drizzled with strawberry and cherry on top! Happy anniversary to my hubby. Thank you Misto for the wonderful presentation . Again Seda makes us happy 12852210084127860 .
