Advance sorry, my pic doesn't look very appealing. 128513

Okay, at first I was a bit hesitant to buy this small but expensive uncooked-cookie-dough-like-cotton-balls. 128513 (seriously, I'm not sure how to describe it!) Coz #1 - it is ridiculously expensive #2 - I'm not sure what & how it's made and #3 - Hey, I was just passing by! 128517

But since the lady is super attentive and friendly... Oh my she smiles a lot! How can I say No? 128523 Daming drama. :))

Overall, Mochi is pretty delicious. It is a little pricy but I guess, worth it naman. 128077 I'll surely get back to try other flavors.

I was supposed to try the the mochi creme since it was recommended by looloomate Theresa L. But when we got to the store my friend mentioned that there's a better looking mochi there in mega, curiosity strikes, I was convinced that we try that one instead. With the help of Looloo we were able to locate mochi sweets (near Toby's). True enough the mochi does looks yummy, ate was even boastful on how the mochi are very well shaped, they also have different flavors, it was my first time to see a durian flavored mochi. Pretty cool! :) Each mochi is priced at P70 but if you buy half dozen it would only cost P380.

I had the chocolate mousse flavor. It was chewy, the inner part was a thumbs up. The chocolate was oozing, each bite is heavenly :)

I love mochi! So when I spotted this little mochi stall... I just had to try it out.

First thing I have to say about this place is... "WHAT IS HIGH EQ?" Hahahaha! Sorry... But when I ordered my mochi... The lady handed it to me in plastic (like a square burger plastic with two sides open) with issue and said "Ma'am kainin niyo in 15 minutes." I was like... "What? I have to wait 15 minutes?" So... I walked around the mall with my mochi in my hand!

Okay... Let's back up a little. The display looked enticing an the booth was pretty. The lady explained also that it was made of sticky rice flour. I asked what was inside and she just kept explaining that there were different flavors... Which was obvious. So I had to ask if it was ice cream or chocolate or something else. She said it was cream.

So I ordered and got the chocolate cream and exercised my EQ and ate it in 15minutes.

I tried biting into it but it wasn't very soft yet and i didn't want that cold-biting-into-a-popsicle feeling cause it's mochi and it's supposed to be soft and chewy. So I used a fork instead... (I was in a restaurant by now about to get dinner. Yes... I had dessert first.)

So the fork seemed better. Especially because there was cocoa powder all over it and biting into it would surely give your face a chocolate make over! The cocoa powder was a little more stuck since I waited for it to defrost and of course the whole process of evaporation and condensation... It wasn't very appetizing to look at anymore.

Anyway, upon trying it... It was very bitter at first because of the cocoa powder. The chocolate cream, taste wise... Was just cream I guess. It was brownish... But it seemed like the cocoa powder mixed with cream and that's all I could taste.

As for the mochi, the texture was nice and soft, so that saved me from hating it completely.

The cream also had a funny texture. 128539 It's that icky texture that gets left in your mouth 128069when the cream is cold and gets defrosted or something like that. 10052128167And since that's what happened... The cream had that texture too.128586

I'll probably try it out one more time since they were very new when they opened... But if by then things are the same... Then the second time around will not be a sweeter experience for me. *fingers crossed that it's better though*
