Moe's has been in business for less than a year. They are the first in Baguio to specialize in smoked meats. It's a great deal for this area, and it's a great deal for me, being that I'm a carnivore.
Aside from their specialty smoked meats, they have an array of dishes that will truly whet your appetite.
During my visit, I ordered their smoked beef meal (₱180), which comes with mashed potatoes and buttered veggies. Also, I ordered extra smoked beef (100g @ ₱180) and cordon bleu (₱150). And yes, I overate.
The smoked beef, I believe was well executed. Normally, cuts are to be 1/4", but these thin slices pack a lot of flavor from the rub used, and at the same time you are able taste the flavor of the succulent beef.
Also, the cordon bleu was nothing short of awesome. Cooking chicken breast, though easy to cook, is tough to master. You will either overcook it, which makes it very dry, or undercook it. The chicken was very juicy, and wasn't layered with too much crumbs. Another well executed dish.
Places like Moe's, with signature dishes is great here for Baguio. It will get more future restauranteurs to examine thoroughly their menus, so that, we consumers, will have more places to choose from, rather than your run of the mill restaurants.
