Ordered Shepherd's Pie and Breaded Pork Belly

Pork Belly lacks flavor, but the pie was good.

A little pricey considering the size of the serving.

Place was cozy and wait staff were friendly and accommodating.

First breakfast place in mind last Saturday:Mom & Tina's. Been missing this place. My first 2 dining experience is at QC and Pasig. Both has this homie and comfy ambiance. In Makati, it has the same feels but less chic128522

We ordered:

U.S. Beef Tapa (P325) its a crispy strips of marinated beef served with sliced tomato, egg, garlic rice and achara. - tender beef and crispy. But I find it a bit bland.

Smoked Bangus( P350) Marinated bangus served with sliced tomato, garlic rice and egg- bangus us big ! Plus it tastes good, do flavorful.

Cappuccino (P90) standard size cup. Coffee is good.

Verdict: their all-day-breakfast is good, is good and ofbig servihg, though a bit pricey. I just wish they have a bigger size of coffee128522

To kill time after having lunch at Banoi's, we decided to go for some desserts and coffee at Mom and Tina's next door.

We got their mini apple pie and we super loved it! 10084️ I already love apple pies, but their mini apple pie is good for one and the apples inside are soft 128525

Their coffee is good. Good to pair with sweet desserts

I love indulging and getting lost in a big slice of chocolate cake. And one of those great chocolate cakes is from Mom & Tina's - it is a good thing they have a branch nearby in Perea Street, Makati. I live in the South so venturing to ABS CBN or Pasig City is far from my thoughts. Perea near Greenbelt is the safest and most accessible branch for me. Better if friends would drive by and buy this for potlucks and get together parties. Moist, lightly sweeten, all chocolate goodness. The cake is covered in thick chocolate and caramel ganache. Perfect with a cup of black coffee. Even perfect over good conversation. Highly recommended.

Your neighborhood cozy find at Legaspi Village is a way to describe Mom and Tina's. Strategically located right before Greenbelt 5 along Dela Rosa St. is this homey place.

My go to order here is actually their pastry especially that Brazo de Mercedes. For as cheap as Php 65 per slice you get to have a promising Braze de Mercedes. Not too sweet but fluffy and rich.

What we have here is their Roast Beef served with Mashed Potato. Oh I love the mashed potato as it's smooth and thick. And the roast beef is still pinkish making. Soft and tender equally. The gravy complete the meal. Their tapa with egg is a good breakfast or brunch option. Their tapa is almost bacon like; thin and crispy. Of course what's tapa without some vinegar, right? Sunny side up to top it all.

For dessert their banana chocolate cake tasted so good! Though slice wise it's small but I love how moist the banana cake is and the chocolate topping is a cherry on top. So good!!

This may not be your best option on something cheap for lunch, but definitely your option for that homey cooked meals. Their pastas are good too especially the pesto. And their bacon and cheese empanada is a must too especially when freshly cooked cause the outside is crunchy but with oozing cheese inside and lot of bacon.

Be sure to drop by sometime cause they have lots to offer.

This place is too close to home and by it being too near to me, I take it for granted and just walk by it. I was surprised that my friend from Ortigas wanted to have dinner here one Friday night. Works for me!!!!

Fridays and Lent make your food choices limited but also easier. So I got the Fettucini with seafood and sun-dried tomato pesto. When they set it down, I was "This is it?" Yeaup, it's the matakaw reaction but then it came with two of the mom and tina's bread buns which are soft, buttery and quite divine. You'll finish it in no time and it's best eaten when served. This made me full enough. There is always room for dessert and I don't remember what I got but it was yummy and satisfying. Price is not so bad around P250-P300.

Since it's too close to the office, I always end up bumping into someone from there.

This is the sausage breakfast. I wanted the corned beef hash but it wasn't available :(

Overall it's ok, it's very filling but I found it to be a little pricey. Even with the real deal mustard on the side. M&T dishes usually are.

My friend and I came in a little late so the breakfast crowd is already in full swing, and we ended up at the small tables with the ottoman seats. These are NOT comfortable. I don't think I've even sat at any of the real tables, except outside. They should really think about this because it's one of the reasons I rarely go back.

Mom & Tina's is a gift that keeps on giving. I love this place! Their main entries are on the expensive side but other dishes are reasonably priced. I ordered their meat lasagna. At first I was worried about the serving size, but it did not disappoint. Half the bowl was enough to fill my tummy. And it was so cheesy! I wanted to try their cupcakes but I was so full. Maybe I'll come back for it next time.

I was on leave today, but my friends invited me to lunch. I woke up a bit late after a drink the night before so I was unable to eat breakfast. When I went at Mom and Tina's, my friends were already seated. I would have wanted to seat in a decent table but the place was crowded as usual. They ordered pasta, and the chicken relleno. I had the longganisa hamonado for PhP215 from their all-day breakfast menu. It was good, but nothing out of the ordinary. I was served three pieces of the longganisa hamonado, rice and egg. It was a bit pricey, in my opinion.

My friend also ordered a slice of brazo de mercedes, and she told me to try it. I actually like brazo de mercedes in general, but that was the first time that I gave it a try in Mom and Tina's. To be fair, it was not too sweet which was good. So that actually saved the lunch. 128077🏼

I always wonder if the lasagna here is really good. Everytime I pass by this restaurant, lagi ko iniisip kailan ba ako may makakasama kumain dito? Hahaha 128553

Then, something magical happened...
As one of our regular Fri-dates with my officemates, We decided to eat here.

We ordered:

128004 Homemade Corned beef- It is served with Rice and Egg. For the price of 310, I could say that it was one big meal. The corned beef wasn't sliced like normal, it is served as chunks of beef 128525 Would have been better if it has potatoes. But overall, it was good.

🦀 Paella - Mom and Tina's serving is huge! It was served with a handful of seafood and chicken breast. The server told us that it is good for 2-3 people.

128004U.S. Beef Tapa- Their tapa is served like a bacon strip. Honestly, it looks like a black bacon. Haha and it tastes like bacon too.

127837 I ordered their best seller, Meat Lasagna and my office mate ordered the Spinach and Chicken Lasagna - At first, I thought for the price of 210, it may be small and won't make me full. But when it was served, I can't finish it because the round dish was really "siksik" with lasagna noodles. It looks like molo noodles imo. 1285149996🏼️ I just wished that a little more sauce and meat would make the lasagna better and also, don't over cook the noodles. :(

Overall, I would like to give the lasagna another chance and next time i would order desserts too! 128525

The ambience is very relaxing and I got the Steak and Eggs, which I was craving for quite some time and it does not disappoint. The coffee is good and the service is superb. I am now a regular patron.

I've been to Mom and Tina's a couple of times and i haven't tried some of their hearty dishes.  The voice in my head is asking me why every three seconds.  I dunno,  really.  All i know is that every visit is fueled by intense cravings for their Dark Toblerone Walnut Torte.

Semi sweet dark chocolate,  liquid velvet cream,  chewy walnut torte.  Now mix all elements together.  We got ourselves a work of art,  ladies and gentleman.  All i can is this is wickedly good and extremely addicting.

I rest my case.

This is a first for me -- tapa which tastes like bacon. It's thin and crunchy and oh so good! They also know how to fry an egg. No burnt edges because this baby was cooked delicately over low fire. I thoroughly enjoyed their U.S. Beef Tapa meal and I'm craving for it as I write.

I also tried the Tocino and Egg, along with the mango and walnut torte. They were both pretty good, but I was busy savoring the bacon/beef tapa. Definitely going back... next weekend!

Good comfort food, we ordered US beef tapa, bbq pork ribs, kani salad and cupcakes. The beef tapa was ok I prefer the sirloin tapa of mary Grace. The ribs was good, but banapple country ribs was better. The cupcakes was ok and so is the price, I can compare this to Mary Grace and Banapple because they have similar menu, and this will be my last choice among the 3.

There are those days when you just want something sweet. And bitter. Oh well. Whatever.

A donut doesn't fit my mood.
Fruits? Not today...
Candies? Naaah!

Then i saw cupcakes. Im really not a fan of these sweet expensive little thingies. But hey, I don't know why they look so good here at Mom and Tina's!

So I got one prune cupcake and added a shot of macchiato to match. And boom! Prune-sweet and bitter-sweet is a perfect match!

Oh and that small macchiato cup packs a big punch. Just enough to bring me back to reality - Thank you, Mom and Tina's.

Been craving for cake for a while now, got a fix and shared it with some buddies. Four different kinds of cake slices were ordered.

1. Sans rival - buttery and tasty, the inside isn't crumbly. I love it! Butter makes everything better!

2. Chocolate cake - a little crumbly BUT moist and overall yummy! Great way to satisfy a craving.

3. Dulce de leche - crumbly inner with a sweet center. I think that it's just right but isn't a favorite of mine. I did eat that blue flower though.

4. Caramel cake - true to form and very caramelly. It looks more attractive than the dulce de leche but it needed a diversion from being uber caramelly. Labo ba?

I am considering the chocolate cake to be a regular cake fix. :)

You'll easily feel the homey ambiance of Mom & Tina's once you enter but I hope their staff is more accommodating too. I had to ask thrice for a table before I was able to seat - and note that this wasn't during peak hours, it was around 9am.

Their food definitely balanced off the bad service I experienced. I ordered their tapsilog and it was so good! The tapa strips were plenty, thin and flavorful. Imagine bacon strips but using beef. The meat was also not hard to chew (coming from someone who has braces).
