After watching the by invitation Phantasia Concerto of the ABS CBN Philharmonic Orchestra i decided to dine at the nearby Mom & Tina's right in front the ABS CBN Compound. This is the first time to dine here after trying out their cake that was sponsored by a friend during a birthday party.

There is a nearby branch here in the south in Perea Street, Makati. But surprisingly this is the first for me, and all the way in QC! I had the famous (been reading this from reviews) Chicken Spinach Lasagna and i am happy to report it is as good as everyone is saying! Cheesy, hot, and delicious. The dish is so creamy and has lots of chicken bits. The spinach is in the pasta itself. Some say the serving size even if it is small is enough. But being a lasagna fiend, para akong si Garfield, nakukulangan ako! I want more! It has two cheese rolls to wipe every cheesy goodness off the bowl. My date had the lengua. It was good enough for two. It came with mashed potatoes, vegetables and a cup of rice! The lengua was soft and the sauce was generous.

Took home merengue as well. The interiors are nice and the service was quick. Water and refills served without you asking. Will be back and will try their Perea branch really soon! Recommended.

Pork ribs with fries, chicken spinach lasagna, fettuccine in seafood basil pesto, and paella valenciana in photo..... For breakfast 128514

We liked everything except for the fettucine in seafood basil pesto.. Was just not feeling that.

Quaint place. Love the accents.

We were looking for coffee places that close late on weekdays and finally decided on Mom & Tina's. We usually skip this area because parking can be such a pain but luckily, it wasn't packed when we visited.

Layers of pastries on display welcomed us the moment we walked in and I swear, it took us about 15 minutes before we could finally decide on a beehive and a coconut cupcake. The cupcakes were a bit dry and were falling apart but the marshmallow frosting and the buttercream icing saved the lack of moistness and flavor.

Pasta must be good here because we noticed that a lot of people were eating them with bread rolls?! Intense carbo loading but they looked so happy, nakakainggit! Haha!128514 Will come back for that next time!

Breakfast date with my highschool friends last December to avoid the traffic. Me and my friends were lost and didn't know that it was just behind ABS-CBN until the MMDA officer showed us the right direction.

Parking space can only accommodate 5-6 cars so need to park at your own risk in Sgt Esguerra St.
Like the ambiance which is very cozy and girly. I ordered waffle pancake with bacon and cappucino while my friends had tapa and others mostly were same order like mine. The waffle was soft and tasty but bacon was a bit overcooked. I wasn't in the mood to complain so I ate it anyway.

We almost stayed there until lunch time so we thought of ordering desserts like banofee pie which was too sweet for me (still like the one in Starbucks) while my friends had blueberry cheesecake which was yummy and oreo cheesecake (also too sweet).

All in all, we enjoyed our stay here. Will try their other branches to check some goody meals too. 128522

I don’t think there is a person who hates breakfast food. I myself would go for breakfast food any time of the day!9786

I really love beef tapa, and would prefer to marinate and cook it at home. But when in Mom & Tina’s, I just could not resist ordering their US Beef Tapa (P295). Albeit a bit pricey, for me, it is worth the splurge! Imagine crispy strips of beef tapa, garlic rice, and eggs. The tapa kind of looks and tastes like bacon, which is something I like! It’s like eating guilt-free bacon! 128588🏻HAHAHA! I could consume 2 orders of this in one sitting! Also, I am craving for their tapa as I’m typing this review!128557128557128557

My mom and I also like their Baked Chicken Macaroni. So far those two dishes are our staple orders whenever we dine here. Their desserts.. well.. it’s just okay. Some are dry, and some are too frozen. My dad wanted their roast beef, but ended up with roast pork as they already ran out of beef. To think it was only a little after 1pm.128532

There are limited parking spaces because they share the compound with Melo’s, but there are also about 2 or 3 available slots just outside the gate.

Can’t wait to be have their tapa again!

Delish Desserts and Main Courses under one roof 128077 Even the kids have a lot of choices and enjoyed choosing what dessert they would have after their dinner 128522 love the homey feel and kids were really comfortable on the couch while eating. I was so happy to know that there's Mom & Tina's near ABSCBN! Haha! Too bad I only found out after 3 years since they were there. 128513

Mom & Tina's = comfort food! Delicious and affordable food! I also love the homey-feel of the place. First time to order the salisbury steak and oreo cheesecake. The plain rice can be improved though - better if a bit more sticky. I was expecting that the oreo part of the cheesecake was soft, than crust-like. Wish it was spongy instead, but still with the oreo taste. 128522

I came here to meet my wedding suppliers and we weren't able to eat as we were busy with detailing-of course it my wedding! I only had ripe mango shake and it was refreshing! With the milk you can taste and its tall size, its worth the money.. Beside the shake, I bought the Chocolate profiteroles for my aunt's birthday and I was right about it! It was something I craved even after few days had passed.. 128514 Will come by again to buy this or better yet dine in here to try their main courses as well. Let me not forget, they have a positive feel in their homey place! 128524

Choco Nutella Pie tasted like a normal Banoffee. You can barely taste the Nutella. Cute presentation but pricey.

This is my favorite Coconut Cupcake! I really love how that white icing matches the coconut and the cake itself. And that Choco Fudge Cupcake is so chocolatey 128077

Happy hump day! My day's been energized, thanks to this power breakfast. 128170🏼

Tocino was not too sweet, not too oily. Serving wasn't 'tinipid' so that was great. This is my favorite pinoy breakfast and Mom & Tina's did not disappoint.

Remember, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. So, don't skip it! 128521

Tried their Quezo de Bila spread as an appetizer and it was so yummy! Good for sharing and because it comes with a small bottle of spread, we could even use it on the accompanying bread in our pasta. A bit pricey at P240+.

Love their baked pasta here, chicken macaroni is P150 while the lasagna is P210. I also enjoyed their Shepherds pie which is just a little but more expensive than the pasta.

Capped off the meal with a solo serving of their popular mango walnut torte, a refrigerator cake with yummy frozen mango, granola and cream. Worth the P105 I think.

Only downside is the service, waiters don't seem to scan the room for empty plates and water glasses that needed refilling. We waited half an hour for our bill even though only two tables were filled inside. But if you can look past the disaffected staff, their food is good!
