Had lunch at Mongkok and ordered the Salt & Pepper Squid (P280), Lechon Kawali (P280), Jumbo Siopao (P85.00), Mixed vegetables (P200) and plain rice (P40). The place as mentioned by fellow reviewers was nothing to rave. Service wasn't spectacular either. The food and price however was above average. The lechon kawali was definitely underrated. None of the best this critic has tasted in a long time. The portions were bountiful as well considering the affordable prices. Overall it was nice eating at a decent Chinese restaurant.

Had lunch with hubby last Saturday with hubby at Mongkok Robinsons Galleria branch. We got our all time favorite birthday noodles which is very sulit because the serving was very generous and price is affordable then got my fave hakao and hubby had his seafood roll, all in all we just paid around 600 for the bill, the rice serving was generous too. Super busog , Mongkok is one of our fave Chinese cuisine and the service was fast here even if the place is small

Geez! This place was feeding you a shitload of MSG. What a hassle. I was knocked out of commission that afternoon. :((

This is my second time dining here.
First dinner, i ate alone tried their shrimp balls and beef noodles. It tasted so good so I invited my friends to try...

We ordered MONGKOK special fried rice (yangchao - i love yangchao so i liked it though it tasted like the ordinary one) Salt and pepper squid (we didn't like it cause its more of the breading), beef tenderloin (saved our meal perfect for the yangchao), shrimp balls (was not great this time i think theres sumthing in their cooking oil for this nyt cause i hate their fried dishes....in tagalog, MAANTA) and chicken and corn soup (nothing special).

the PLACE is clean though it gives you the feeling of eating on an eatery in binondo. Typical chinese decors, uncomfortable chair, the SERVICE is not that good. They didn't even offer us the free hot tea.

Overall, i just love chinese food so its hard for me to hate this place. LOL maybe they just need to change their cooking oil! Now na!!

Worst xiao long bao. Ever. The wrapper was badly made making the soup spill easier than usual. It doesn't help that the meat isn't very tasty at all.

Being a Chinese, eating in a Chinese Restaurant is normal, so I master already the taste of their cuisine at early age. So me and boyfie had a quick stop for our lunch at MongKok.

• PLACE:
- Ordinary Chinese Restaurant set up. Nothing special.

• FOOD
We ordered the following:
- Assorted Coldcuts - Really disappointed. My favorite seaweeds is tasteless while the White Chicken and Chinese pork asado were lack of flavors. Though their century egg is good.
- Lechon Kawali - The skin is really soggy there's no crunchiness on it and though when you eat it.
- Mixed vegetable with 3 kinds of mushroom - The taste of the sauce is good, but the veggies seems overcooked.
- Yang Chao - Nothing special. Just like the usual.
- Special Noodles - I'm not a fan of noodles everytime we're ordering that one. But this time around it become my favorite. Very tasty.

•PRICE
- Just right. Like the usual Chinese Resto in the Metro.

• SERVICE
- Terrible! We've been to different MongKok branches but this is the worst of all. We're almost finished with our meal already and the Coldcuts that supposed to be our appetizer is not even on our table. We even call their attention for 3x to follow up our order. pfft! Also, when we're asking for their condiments they kept on saying "wait lang po" for like 5x around. So what I did is I just stand up and get it by myself. I would understand if they have lots of customer, but no. It seems that we're only 6 customers that time. Worst Mongkok branch ever. 128530128078
