The newest food hub in Marikina! Located at Centro de Buenviaje Commercial , lot 12 Mayor Gil Fernando Ave corner Aquilina St. Marikina.

I've been hearing about this place recently so just last Monday evening , I was looking for new Foodtrip and that late Monday evening, hubby and I checked this out.

It's a bit hard to find especially if your not from Marikina, the path going there is very dark but the place is not crowded and private.

It was raining and there were Tents on the table and glad we didn't get wet.

There were around less than 10 food stall and among them we choose TUX burger, not your ordinary burger 127828 we got James Bond burger and its really good as well as the nachos and hubby bought some beer.

Price range is 150-200 pesos but food tasted good , service is good, hope the path going there hope they could put signage and more post lights coz it's dark.

My sister and I were disappointed with the place. The street going to Montare was dark. When we got there at around 6pm on a Thursday, we were the only customers. The crew of each kiosk were nice, but the al fresco dining area was not inviting. It was not lighted well, it looked like a cheap drinking place. The supposed airconditioned dining area was hot and humid because they didn't turn on the airconditioner. All the kiosks didn't have a separate menu you can hold and check. They just have their list of food on their own counters. Each counter was not lighted properly that I had a hard time reading the menus. The music that they were playing was not pleasing to the ears. They were playing alternative OPM songs! It made me want to go emo and slash my wrist! They should opt to play mainstream music which is more pleasing to the ears of most people. Some of the kiosks have pricey items on their menu --- like the Frappes from Sweet N Crushed which cost P140 each! I'd rather order one from Starbucks at that price.

I ordered the rib fingers and buttered veggies from RibDibs. The ribs were juicy and very tender. It was baked just right with mild bbq flavor. It costs P140 for 4 pieces of ribs. The veggie siding was P35. My sister ordered calamari from Peci. It was bland and the dip was just like sandwich spread. She also had the Aligue Pasta from Caprizzo. It was good! The pasta saved the day! The sauce was creamy. It didn't have the usual "fishy" flavor and odour of aligue.

This was the first time we went to Montare and we will not be coming back nor recommending it to friends.

Place was fine, al fresco dining. Food was okay, doesn't have that wow factor though. Burger was yummy but kinda pricey for 160 pesos (with fries). My problem was the milkshake. I ordered oreo matcha milkshake for 150 pesos but it tastes like I ordered oreo milkshake only. I did not taste any hint of matcha (aside from the green tea kitkat) :(
