Since my night out was cancelled, i decided to just hang out here alone and have my usual tea Hakka Milktea and also brought some snacks. One problem is that the seats outside is kind of infested with mosquitos. So i had to leave after an hour.

Ahhhhh this place is really nice specially when you are hanging out with your friends! This is the biggest moonleaf teahouse that I have visited, I guess. And hey folks, it's cold milk tea, who wouldn't want that?

One can never go wrong with milk tea. 128521
And this branch is not an exception. With it's good location and accessibility, you won't miss visiting this place. 128522

Beware going on a Friday night - this place is packed! 128517

The ambiance was nice.. the menu was okay and very affordable.. i haven't tasted their pasta and cakes. A good place to hangout, one thing though, there were mosquitoes all over the place.

I didn't know that moonleaf serves cakes, so I gave it a try..!! The best OREO CHEESECAKE I have ever tasted. No kidding! I just love it. It's moist, full of flavor and I am drooling to have a taste of it again!!

Sad full moon day. Today Moonleaf decided to change their menu and remove Earl Grey Milktea from it. It's hard for tea drinkers if you remove basic tea flavors. Also the lack of signage for sugar levels available is inconvenient.

- from an Earl Grey Milktea, 25% sugar, no add-ons drinker

Delicious turtle pie! It may look plain and simple but it has a lot going on in each layer. The chocolate was so delicious that it tasted a bit akin to a foreign chocolate brand I cannot remember. But really, awesome taste. Love the nuts and everything else.

Also had a taste of the oreo cheesecake which was also a hit. Love the brownie-like crunchy crust and the oreo filling.

Surprisingly, moonleaf have delicious pastries! I have also tried their macarons and I loved them. 128523

Cannot let Sunday pass by without a milktea in my hand. Today i chose to be at Maginhawa after a hassle Salon experience. Earl Grey has always been my comfort tea since i have learned that Wintermelon is just 'kundol'. Thank God that Moonleaf has a space for tambayan. 128521

Suki! That's me. Whatever the reason I am here. I will always love the Earl Grey Milktea. I think they should have some Loyalty Card for their regular customers like those of Starbucks'. 100841008410084

This is my first time that i bought Milk Tea for the whole fam. Hubby and I decided to treat them a drink and took it home! 128525

I'm sorry i lost my receipt...so the details of my orders are totally forgotten haha! This happened last week lang....I had fun ordering bulk ones! parang nakaka excite lang!? Total of 6 drinks and a pack of Blueberry Cheesecake and a slice of another flavored cheesecake( i forgot, coz that was for hubby!) ang cute lang ng mini cheesecakes!!...and the great bumber of choices in this branch.

Look how cool the picture with all of us holding the cups! It includes my mom and sister and housemaid who were first timers on Milk Teas. 128539

They liked each and every flavor we chose. There were Hakka, Peach, And Lychee flavored for my mom which she liked! 128525

Milk tea nowadays is pretty much the same everywhere, only a slight noticeable difference in taste because of the milk and/or tea used, and add ons : from pearls, pudding to rock salt n' cheese.

Moonleaf is one of my used to's.
Used to crave Hakka Milk Tea.
(now it's just too bland&&sweet.yes, the irony)
Used to like this happy place.
(now it's too dull)
Used to love their red velvet cupcake and cakes. (hey, I think I found the best lately)

3-stars : for having to wait for the ice delivery; and 'ate' who was (sadly) very masungit 128534 I ended up not buying the red velvet cake. OK LANG, iwan na natin yung cake ng moonleaf sa past. 128129 saved 300-400 calories, thankfully! :)

Real-time:

FINALLYYYY! I've been craving this drink since last week and I wasn't able to review it because I had no photo huhu

Mango Milk Slushie!
This was a "Surprise! I am awesome!" Drink! My friend suggested this and at first I was skeptical because of "milk" but all was fine and it's sooooo gooooooood. It tastes just like Selecta Mango Ice cream, I swear! but they don't put any ice cream!

Must-try!

I've known Moonleaf Tea Shop since its humble beginning at Magiting St. Even if lots of tea shops have cropped up in the metro (and especially in Maginhawa St.), I still go back to my first love. ;) And ofcourse, I order my favorite drink which is Wintermelon Milk Tea. I dunno. There's something unique about Moonleaf teas that sets them apart from others. Recently, I visited the place ('cause I haven't been in UP for a year) and I learned they have free wifi now. There were lots of students plugging their laptop in and studying out, it was like being in a Starbucks cafe in Katipunan lol. But it was cool. :D The only bad thing I could think of is the increased price of the teas, but if their starting to let people use free wifi and electricity, then I guess it's justifiable.
