We had our Educational Field Trip on Davao last Feb 18-20 on our last day we went to Abreeza Mall and there we tried the Mooon Cafe. I really love there food and there service is really fast. I tried there Mooon Steak which is there best seller it is really yummy and delicious 128522. It's the best steak I ever ate and the most affordable one. Mooon Cafe is a must try restaurant when you go to Davao because you can only see Mooon Cafe in some provincial state. There is no Mooon Cafe in Manila but I wish there is. For me Moon Cafe best restaurant I really love it 12852210084

Looks like Mooon Cafe is all over Visayas! I remember commenting on someone's review (Cebu branch I think) asking if it really had 3 Os! I only realized I was in an actual Mooon branch 10 minutes after sitting inside!

This place has a pretty interesting Mexican vibe. From the paintings to the ceiling fans down to the music they were playing - very Mexican.

Don't judge me based on what I ordered though haha.

I got their Tapa Strips (Php 99) -- marinated beef strips topped with onion rings served in minced garlic. I guess I shouldn't have ordered TAPA from a MEXICAN-themed restaurant! D'oh!

But yes, their tapa did not pass the PeanuTapa test. Haha. (Thanks to EJ D. for coining this term lol)

Tapa meat was tough, rubbery, and also too salty. Blehhhh.

I also ordered their Crispy Chili Squid (Php 155). According to their menu, it's crispy fried squid glazed with sweet chili sauce topped with chopped parsley. It was meh.

The squid was alsovery rubbery and it wasn't spicy too (my spicyness tolerance is very low so this must not be spicy at all). The only thing I liked about this was that it was crispy but that was because of the breading (is that what you call it?)

Garlic rice was good though haha. It was very sticky.

I'll probably try it again but not any time soon.
