I think this is my first or either second time coming in this Mooon Cafe branch.

I was expecting much which resulted into a disappointment.

We ordered a Quesadilla Uno- which is my favorite from all we ordered;
Pork Sisig - the taste was okay but it wasn't hot enough to cook the egg and kinda sloppy;
Tuna Belly - which my sister ordered (on the photo), she said it's smelly;
Garlic Chicken- it's salty! (But I actually finished it 90% coz it's a waste of money if I wouldn't.) 128513128519 lol

Had a light dinner here. Food is very affordable. This cafe serves Filipino-Mexican food.

The design and interior of the place reminded me a
little bit of Chilis with its tiled floors and tables.

Perhaps the dishes I ordered were wrong. I ordered beef quesadilla, nachos, grilled chicken salad and soup.

Everything tasted cheesy but the cheese used isn't mozzarella. The food was just okay. :) I would love to try the ribs next time.

Sakto lang for a quick dinner between malling and another lakad. Not an ultimate Cebu Dinner Destination, but is good enough to fuel you up for your next "bakasyon gala destination"

If you want to go to a place that looks and feels like a mexican restaurant but barely sells any mexican food, then this is the place. I'm not implying their food is bad. They probably chose this kind of menu to suit the filipino palate. The only mexican dishes you can find here are the appetizers and small orders like quesadillas and burritos and to they're not even any good. What's good are the non-mexican dishes like their Pork barbeque and Moon steak and other finger foods. They have cheap beers and drinks though which makes for a pretty passable inuman place although the place gives me a bit of a Sunday family-day-restaurant vibe. Tonight, I get their Ribs.

Nice place , good ambiance , lighting just right and cozy .
Ambient noise a bit loud . Serving time is ok .
Rice portion is big so we had too much rice .
Now to the food ..
Chimichanga , great , good value for money , will definitely order this again.
Onion rings - great ! Nice presentation, tasty, crunchy , will order this again
Chicharon bulaklak - nice quantity but really bland ! Sayang, like someone forgot to season it w salt . Pass next time .
Crispy Pata - soggy NOT CRISPY pata -Pass next time
Gambas La Luna - Great ! Will order this every time
Blue Marlin - great ! Will reorder this .
Chicken Mozzarella Melt - ok but a bit dry for my taste , may be just a tad overdone . Might reorder this again .

Will surely be back here to sample the other dishes and reorder the ones we liked .

Delish, affordable food! And their servings are big, too. Try their campesinos, which is like nachos with beef and lotsss of cheese. 128077128077

We went to Ayala Terraces for a very late lunch... We were overwhelmed by the many many food choices, some of them can be found only in Cebu... I saw this cafe and remembered it from one of the articles I've read before... So I asked if we could try this one out...128513

My bf agreeing to that request is already something... He doesn't like Mexican food, I don't know why! As in we tried a couple of Mexican food joints here in Manila, but he's never totally satisfied with the food... Plus he finds the restos here rather expensive... So there's always an excuse when I bring up nachos or tacos or chimichangas!128540

I was ecstatic when he agreed! I, on the other hand, love Mexican food!!! As in!128516 so we entered the festive restaurant, done in orange, blue and yellow... We were seated by the aircon and yet it was still pretty hot! 9728️ Hohoho, ang init yo!128563

We were immediately given the menu, which was extensive! We noticed that we were just on time for their merienda specials!128513 you can choose two of their specials, smaller portions though, with one glass of iced tea for only P99! Yey!!!128079 I got the chimichanga and the nachos, while my bf ordered the beef taco and campesino... Before the waiter left, may pahabol pa na gambas ala luna! 128540 #tomgu

The orders came pretty fast! But the wait wasn't an issue due to their fast wifi!128522

On to the food... The iced tea was okay... We thought that the servings would be snack sized, but if so, they were pretty generous! The chimichanga and nachos were pretty good!128077 but more than that, the gambas were delicious! Very generous serving with lots of garlicky goodness!128079 we ordered too much, being unfamiliar with the serving sizes! But the meal was very affordable! I would have loved to try more dishes, but there are so many great restaurants in Cebu that we just visited once! 128522

So if you love Mexican food, try this place! Bang for your buck indeed!128513

Never fail to eat at Moon Cafe when at Cebu! Why?

1) Baby back ribs good for 2 for less php700!
2) crunchy chimichanga
3) sisig pizza--although I think this one's available for a limited time only.

Those are my favorites here, but their nachos and burger steak are worth to try as well!

Great food at great value! They have branches around IT park and SM Cebu as well.

✅ Fast Service
✅ Free Wifi (You have to post your food on instagram, diba?)
✅ Friendly staff

Food was good except for the pochero. It was salty, nothing more. Not really salty but it wasn't malinamnam.
Their 22pcs. chicken(thigh and wings), magic cake, and suncoolers(orange apple with real fruits juice) are really good. 128522

Found myself craving for their gambas ala luna and since it was past 2pm, I was offered their merienda specials: choose any 2 of their featured snack items and a glass of iced tea for only P99. Got the chimichanga (crispy fliur tortilla filled with tender, mild-spiced beef, cheese, sour cream and salsa rojo, topped with lettuce and sour cream) and campesinos (crispy flour tortilla chips layered with cheese and beef filling, topped with melted cheese and paprika) this time.

I didn't enjoy my meal much as before. Naumay ako probably because of my choices. Don't get me wrong, individually, they were good and flavorful, just didn't work together. I should have just paired the gambas with rice 128522

I tried this place when i was in Cebu! I was amazed by the prices of their menu. It's really affordable and they have a good ambiance, great artistic design and nice food serving! I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for affordable price. They also have beers and cocktails there.
