Fairer sand. Less Intense waves & Friendly enough to swim. This is Morong Beach located at the beautiful island of Sabtang, Batanes. This is the most photogenic and photographed beach in Batanes. This is where we had lunch and I couldn't find the exact words how beautiful this place is. And until now I'm still amazed with Batanes.

One of the iconic spots in Batanes can be found in Morong Beach - Ahao Rock Formation.

White little pebbled beach. You can actually take a dip but one must be careful with sharp rocks. Waves can get big also so better watch out.

There's a canteen in the nearby resort where you can order your food for 300php buffet style.

And that's my friend "casually" posing for the camera. 128514

This is another view of this beach that houses the famous Nakabuang Arch. That's the actual beach there that's, yes, swimmable. You just have to get past this level of corals, then you can dive in. There are certain holes where you can just take a dip. I took a walk, and was able to cool my legs. You just have to be careful on stepping from one coral to another. 128517 But this was one cool beach. Very relaxing and raw 127796

Morong Beach is famous for its natural rock formation that is made from coral limestones. It has a long stretch of white sand and a cave at one end of it. 128522

You know that unique rock structure that the tourism places featuring Batanes all seem to use? Here's where it is. And conveniently enough I snapped a photo of my own to add to the plethora already out there.

This is certainly one of the nicest beaches in Batanes. Soft sand, gentle waves, and plenty of shade (or plenty of sun, if you don't go near the rock formations).

Lunches are also served here for day tours. Served on banana leaves, you get a taste of the Ivatan cuisine. And there's plenty to taste at that. For just one person, I got served like 6 dishes. They were all delicious, but oh so much. I highly recommend their local crab/lobster. Delicious.
