Watched The Fantastic Beasts and Where to find them here with Ony one Friday night. It has been a very very very very stressful week and I'm happy that we got to watch this and to de-stress. 9786

Our first time here was a bit of a failure since we chose the wrong seats. 128517 Since we've already learned our lesson, we were able to secure the better seats. 128521128077🏼 Plus it's better to buy or reserve tickets online since lines are always long and I heard the process wasn't that efficient as well. 128546

The cinema is just like the usual cinemas. Nothing extra special or anything. The temperature is just right. Not too cold or hot. The seats are comfortable enough. It's clean and doesn't smell weird. This is better than Market market and a bit cheaper than BHS. Uptown Mall's too far so this one's the best place for us. But we can't wait for the cinemas in Piazza to finally open! 128518128513

Anyway, this review is primarily for the popcorn! 128528 I seldom eat popcorn so whenever I get the chance to do so, #YOLO! But sadly, the popcorn was MEH. They only have one size and it costs 100 pesos. We got the BBQ flavored and we can't taste any bbq!! It was bland! Parang plain lang tas walang salt! 128557 huhu. Oh well. Never buying popcorn here ever! Taters talaga! 128530

But guys, please watch The Fantastic Beasts. It's really good! Ahhh, the magic is back!!! 128525128077🏼

Watched the Sunday, 8pm 25th anniversary screening of Miss Saigon. I was like, bongga, with red carpet, photo wall, and surprisingly many celebrities watching. Hmmm, was wondering sino kaya katabi ko sa kanila. Ang taray naman ng SM to fancify the event. It turned out to be a private screening pala haha, same time as ours, and dun kami sa adjecent, red carpetless cinema for ordinary people.

Well, I didn't plan on making a review for this buuut I have 3 instances I need to share.

1) what a buggart to get tickets online. After several attempts to pay with my credit card, I was told by customer service I should use Mozilla, instead of Safari, to buy my tickets. When I switched ayaw pa din. A friend had to buy tickets instead for the 8 of us.

2) totally blind clean up crew. As in!!! Walked inside and there was a whole bucket of popcorn splattered on the floor, in front near the center aisle, in accident really large radius too that you had to walk on the side to avoid it. For the person that had an "accident" all you had to do was call housekeeping. Nothing to be embarrassed about. Granting walang gusto umamin, none of the ushers thought of having it cleaned. Seriously. I wonder why the people in the front seats facing the crime scene didnt call for clean up either. The movie ended it was still there.

3) as with my previous review, only get the center eye level seats. Any other seat will not give you a pleasant viewing experience.

On the positive side,

(a) I was happy they included bringing out your trash after the movie in their pre-movie announcement. Because we all should be helpful enough to keep our surroundings clean even if we paid for a ticket. I just didn't see how many actually followed it.

(b) Kudos for somebody actually answering their hotline, with no waiting time. They were also very friendly and easy to talk to.

I still prefer watching in Powerplant.

No queue at the ticket counter Friday night and there was only 1 cashier. I wonder if they have more cashiers if there are blockbuster movies showing (think Avengers). Not much interesting movies this weekend though. I bought my ticket early with my e-plus card. Then went back when the movie is about to start. The restrooms are located outside the cinemas and they only have one (compared to others where each cinema has a restroom). They have 2 regular cinemas, 2 Director's Club cinemas and 1 IMAX cinema. I watched at tbe regular cinema (P280) showing The Secret Life of Pets.

The queue at the snacks counter was super long and slow coz there were only 2 servers. And the movie is about to start! Good thing they have a priority line for e-plus cardholders so I got my snacks right away. I was actually late for about 3 minutes but the movie did not start right away. I think it started after 8mins from the schedule. The seats are comfy and there's enough leg room. Nairita lang ako dun sa dalawang nakaupo in my row. They didn't move their paperbags sa harap nila (na ang dami ha) and just sat there while I bumped at their bags. Grrr. Entitled much. Anyway, so on with the movie experience. The sound is very clear and loud. Siguro if horror or suspense yun movie, magugulat ka lagi sa mga gulatan scenes sa lakas ng sound. And you can see the screen completely without the shadow of the heads in front of you. I sat at G20, the last row at the back.

Overall I like the whole movie experience, especially that they have priority lines for e-plus cardholders like me.

catched the last full show of Everything About Her last night. Movie was okay, the movie theater good, but the ticket purchasing process sucked. Haba ng pila and the staff were inefficient 128531128531

Try their movie theatre with 360 dolby sound system! Makes it seem like your inside the movie! Quite expensive though so make sure to watch a movie that's worth it. 128521

If you book a seat here please stay at the center or seats near the aisle. Never choose the one at the far left or far right..
Their cinema is too small to the point that theres no equal view of the screen for all...
Masyadong malapit.

The first time was a bit at the far left end i almost had a stiff neck LOL

So the second time i had my seat at the center along the aisle at the top. Sooo view is perfect and you can actually enjoy the surround sound.

Perfect seat!

Kal K and I vowed never to watch another movie in SM aura after watching Man of Steel.. However, we did have a booth in Aura for Kalookies that weekend and we just hired someone so we were giddy and excited to have some date time and watch a movie.

1. The popcorn is just terrible. It's so expensive for such a small amount. It tastes like microwaveable popcorn, you might as well just bring your own from your house. The selection as well is just so bad.

2. I intentionally go to the cinema early. I LOVE trailers. There was not a single one shown. I sat there for 20 minutes waiting for trailers that never came.. Instead I watched commercials for 20 minutes. What. I just can't believe it. I mean I don't understand how this is even allowed.

3. The cinema is so small that half of the people who purchase tickets can't even see the whole screen. Why even make a movie theater? Honestly. It's ridiculous. The people in front should only pay 1/4 of the price cos that's all they can see anyway.

4. They left the door to the cinema open.. It's located in front so basically for the first 10 minutes of the movie all I could do was stare at the door and light coming through instead of focusing on the movie.

I vow to myself, my poor fiancé who paid for the tickets and food, and to all of you that I will NEVER ever watch a movie here again no matter how desperate I am. I don't know what we were thinking coming back to this place. Their treatment of movie customers just got worse since the last time.

You call this a bucket of popcorn?!? For 99 pesos??

Movie played at 1135, you can enter at 1120, then they play nothing but COMMERCIALS. No trailers AT ALL.

Big screen, good quality, decent seats, but everything else SUCKED.

Microwaveable popcorn pa!

I am NEVER watching in an SM ever again.

Really crappy cinemas. I swear. Seats all cramped together and so close to the screen, the door opening every now and then.

X-Men was bad too.

Waste of money.

Only good thing is that it's Dolby Atmos

The audio book has a lot of details compared to the movie. The movie was disappointing because there were a lot missing.

I liked the sound system, loud but not wild. The seats were okay. I like the temperature most.

Really nice big screen if you're sitting at the eye level, rows G-H. The ticketing girl was kind enough to tell us that we should choose seats from these rows.

I feel sorry for those sitting at rows A-E. Grabe super lapit. Don't watch if these are the only seats available. I actually sat down in front when the credits were rolling to get a feel of the front, grabe! Don't waste your money!

I did not know that their cinemas here are Dolby Atmos equipped. The sounds were loud but not boisterous. Seats are comfy and sizable.

Watched Lego Movie and I think I'm too old for this. Haha! Inantok

I really hate giving reviews less than 3 stars. But Movietime at SM Aura deserves it.

When I got inside, I was like "where's the rest of the seats?" Napakaliit!! Our Aula Minor in our high school was even bigger.

The entrance is at the bottom of the theater and given that it's so small, nakakadistract yung mga papasok, at lalabas. Also, the door has a small window, so the light from outside the cinema gets inside. Come on SM did you put any thinking into this?

The walls are just cement and put some decals or paint to make a design na parang wala lang.

The audio was good though. Atmos na ata yun eh. Pero the speakers were just hanging there. Didn't have any fancy or cool looking brackets or anything.

The wors't part about it is that it's P250!!! No way am I going back there. Except to try IMAX and Director's Club. I've never tried them. Hopefully I won't have the same experience.

250 pesos for a single movie. Seats are uncomfortable and the floor is undone, i think they're not yet done finishing construction?

The didn't have a middle section?? Seriously??
Whyyyy, SM, whyyyy?! My guess is they want to maximize seats by using one aisle. 128531128078

I also didn't like it because, for something that's supposed to be new, it seemed to be already overused. The carpets were bulging and didn't seem clean. 1285319996

The seats were too close to the screen and the sound was too loud. I even put my earbuds on the entire time (so did my sister Caela V)... it didn't really help so much. HAHA!

I'd like to give the Director's Club a try... maybe that'll be better.

PS. I'm not liking the new preview... it gives away the 3rd line. HAHA! 9996

This is my second time watching "now you see me" in 2D, because I wanted to compare the picture quality of the movie and I simply wanted to watch the movie again! Haha!

As I have mentioned earlier, I got crappy seats the other day at glorietta 4. We got the rightmost seat which was a bad angle and guess what, we got crappy seats again today, but this time we we're seated at the leftmost area which also gave us a very bad angle.

Roegan T sobrang malas ko talaga!! Hahah:))

Anyway, the angle was as bad as the angle I had when I watched in Glorietta 4, the other day, I saw everything from the right side and today I'm watching from the left side naman. Mygosh.

I hate that I have to run in front and across the room when I need to pee during the movie. It's quite distracting na while you are watching, you see people walking going to the door and when the door opens, a light from the outside is glaring especially on my side. Ugh128529

Still, the movie was not as sharp and crisp as the other movies I saw. Is this really 2D!?

For the price, They charge 250pesos for 2D movie. In glorietta only 200pesos for the same 2D experience.

If I had to choose, I would go for Glorietta's cinema. Even if I get the crappiest seat in the house! Atleast I have my convenient Comfort room inside the theater, cheaper ticket price, plus the picture quality is the same.

I have no other picture. Only this one with the cutiiieeee popcorn haha!
