After our lunch at TuanTuan, Josh asked me if I wanted to watch a movie. Being the movie buff that he is, I usually just let him drag me along whatever movie he wants to watch, except for horror movies. 128514

SM Megamall's theatres still offer free seating, so if you're watching a blockbuster film, you have to queue early so you'd be sure to get the good seats.

I appreciate that there are no off smells, despite being an old movie house. Some of the seats were squeaky already, though. Also, there were blue specks on our screen!!! It was so distracting. Not sure if it's the problem of the projector, or the wall itself. 128557

Okay. I have no words. No wonder it won the Cinemalaya 2017 Best Film Award. What I thought was an innocent film about hiphop / rap / fliptop of some teenagers turned out to be a movie with such depth and relevance with our current times... I really do not know how I would digest everything that happened in the film. WOW. Really. Go out and watch this. Now.

SM Megamall charged Php210 for my Pista ng Pelikulang Pilipino movie. I was surprised they still offer free seating. Well, I guess that's easier than having to put seat numbers inside. The cinema was still with the old setup - the one with Premiere and Deluxe seating options. In the age of the dinosaurs, people are charged more if they want to sit at the upper areas of the cinema because IDK they probably want to see a smaller screen?! Or maybe far-sighted people deserve to be charged more?!

Anyway! That tradition is still alive here in Megamall except that the price is the same now wherever you sit. The place was okay - it was not as horrible as I thought it would be. Hahaha.

We saw Kong: Skull Island. I liked it because of Tom Hiddleston 128556 But movie itself was good, make sure to watch till the end because there's an end credit scene.

I hope they'll renovate it soon. Some of the chairs was uneven.

Logan was a good movie. Great way for Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart to end their roles in the X Men franchise.

Popcorn inflation price from Php90 to Php100 128514

I watched Moana yesterday for only Php3.00 using my ePlus points. I really like the movie, I like that Disney is really committed in diversifying their movies.

It was shown in Cinema 1, I don't know if their AC is broken or whatnot, it was kinda hot inside the cinema.

Watched 'Ang Kwento Nating Dalawa' today at SM Cinemas. While the sound was okay, didn't realize that screen was a lot smaller than what I'm used to in Gateway Cineplex. Maybe the theatre has a higher seating-capacity but the screen-size didn't necessarily follow this bigger audience.

As for the movie itself, it was more of an A+++ student film project. It was tiresome and painful to watch and maybe so is forbidden love that should end but dragged on a little bit longer.128148

Movie marathon and take note: I only paid Php5.00 for these two tix since I did redeem my free movie passes from SM's ePlus.

I like to watch movies on a weekday to avoid long queues and people too.

Last place I want to go when I want to watch a movie but since this is the closest cinema near estancia (well i think this is the closest) we watched there anyways. Well, we got small leg compartment, not so grand sounds and uncomfy seats for P230 hehehehe

I liked the Ant-Man btw haha...

Watched Tomorrowland here with cousins.

Theatre was meh, and not too cold. Not sure if it's their aircon or the summer heat. 128531

"Mabuti naman at maayos ang speaker dito!"

That was the first thing I say to my friend while we were watching "that thing called tadhana". I can clearly hear Angelica P.'s hugot. 128517

There were a lot of people for that last full show yesterday. And we stay on the side.

I also came with one tip for people who have long legs and having a hard time finding a comfy sitting position;

Get the spot on the left aisle of right aisle on the upper seats. The chairs were diagonally aligned so you can rest your legs in front and not mind the person in front of you. 128077

We werw planning to watch Mockkngjay at Director's Club but unfortunately 7:20pm screening was full and 10pm screening was too late for us. We ended up watching the movie at Sm Cinema which I'm not a fan of. I really do hate SM and Robinson's Cinemas coz of the division between sitting in upper or lower part of the Cinema, it's so 90's lol Sitting in the upper part makes the Screen small while sitting on the lower part makes u have stiff neck. Haha

The movie itself was good. Just like in the book, the first half was more conversation and action pack scenes will be on the 2nd part.

Some friends told me that Gone Girl is the bomb, so I asked #TeamClingy to watch it with me. With a lot of pilitan and more pilitan, hahaha Ruth A Kirby G and JP G (Welcomeeee back!!!) tag along. 9996

We were supposed to watch in shang, but since there are no screenings for Gone Girl, we stick to Mega instead.

During the first few parts of the movie, I was having a hard time understanding their lines. So I tucked my hair behind my ears and concentrate on what they are saying. JP G on the other hand, suddenly asked, "Hindi ko maintindhan pinaguusapan nila." Good heavens I thought Im becoming deaf. 128517 medyo ngongo yung mga naguusap, poor quality of the speakers pr some sort 128529 Meh.

*spoiler alert*
The story was so twisted you would actually freaked out about marrying someone right now! Thank god I'm single! 128514128514128514
