Capping off the long weekend with a movie together with my parents. Was thrilled to know that the movie that we were watching was playing at Cinema 8. Cinema 8 is one or the only one of the cinemas in SM Southmall which has Lazy boy seats while enjoying the same ticket price of regular seats. There are only 18 Lazy boy seats available so better to come in early to grab these comfy seats. It was initially introduced around 2011 so some of the seats are a little bit dilapidated already. But they still serve the same purpose which is COMFORT :)

Sound system in this cinema is also good and is sponsored by Devant. This cinema is good especially if the movie you are watching is action packed

Cinema is smaller than moa but they have the center chairs like that of director's club! I have no idea if that's for reserve seating or first come first serve. So, when we entered, it's cold, spacious and smaller. But the sound is okay. I just want to watch here again for the center chairs! 128122 hehe.

This place is crowded during weekends, but then again it's because it's the "go-to" mall of everyone in Las Pinas.

Last full shows are good here, a lot less people. (Yeah, not too fond of crowds)

Food options - hmm cheaper than Taters but bearable. I love their promotional tumblers tho! The photo shows Maverick Christopher P modeling the one from Pixels 128513128514

For those who haven't watched Heneral Luna, you still have time. Don't miss the opportunity to know the real history of our country. Oopps, I forgot that I should be doing a review for the cinema and not for the movie itself. Nadala lang po ng emosyon.128514128514128514

SM cinema was quite good as compared to other cinemas in Alabang [Festi and ATC]. Comfy seats, good air conditioning and clean restroom. Good sound system as well that will make you appreciate the movie more.

5 stars for the movie Heneral Luna. Believe us! It's worth every peso you paid for. 128077128077128077

Not really an SM Cinema fan but we had no choice! Since we were running after time, the only available slots were for IMAX. My first time to try their IMAX.

The 3d was pretty nice. Didn't hurt my eyes or caused me migraine like other cinemas. The seats were comfy too. However, the hefty price tag of a whopping P450 bucks? No, I won't do it again. They did give us an E-Card though so the next IMAX ticket will just be P400. But still, no. I can already go to Newport Cinemas with that price, get myself a butler for unlimited popcorn and be comfy with reclining seats.

Cheaper than Ayala cinemas and they have nice seats:) In some cinemas, they even have lazy boy seats for the same price.

Watched Bride For Rent. We went here because there were no available seats at Town.

First comment when I entered the cinema: AMOY PAAAAA!! 128534 The smell went away when we got seated so okay nalang. Second comment: ANG INIT!! 128549 Well, not really hot but you wouldn't feel any coldness from the aircon. Again, okay nalang since I wasn't sweating naman. Haha. Then someone passed by.. so for my third comment: ANG SIKIP!! 128566 I had to lift my legs so someone could pass. There was just enough legroom, as in sakto lang na pasok tuhod ko pero fyi I'm small so how about those taller than me. Tsk. K nalang since no one would pass by during the movie naman.

The audio and video quality was the same as other SM Cinemas. But the cinema was so huge that I think the audio should be improved (louder). And there are parts of the cinemas na masyado ka na malayo so the video quality is diminished.

The only things I really liked were Kim Chiu and the seats, sakto yung neck ko sa neck rest. Haha.

Anyone here have watched The Bling Ring? How was it?
Monster University this time!

For god sake, I asked mom not to watch at moa srsly! She agreed, thanks buddha!

And again, we almost late for our 4:20 movie. Hayyy! Hassle forever.

I'm happy that this cinema have seat reservation or maybe it's 3D that's why. But yeah hassle free.

I enjoyed the movie. Kid at heart. 9786
No noisy kids or even adults. But there's this one guy who keeps on texting and his cellphone's light is so bright. 128532

I hope cinema could do anything about it. Ahihihi!

"Mother nature is a serial killer." To those of you who already watched, you know what I mean.

This was my first time watching in Sm
Cinema. I tried to book online as what I read in Roegan T's review. Go to smcinema.com, register and book. But I couldn't tap the seat properly using my iphone so we just went and queue.

Movie time was 3:30 and we arrived at 3:00. The queue was long. There was no monitor if the cinema was already full. So I had to go infront and ask if there were more seats. There were a few left.

By the time that we reached our turn, there was no more seat available. We had to take the 4:30 screening time, the one with 3D. We haven't watched 3D movies except the one in Disneyland 128539. My husband and I were a bit hesitant that we might get dizzy. But it was ok. Except that there was a scene that I motioned myself to push away the zombie. Felt like it dropped on me! Thank God, it was dark and no one was sitting on the other side next to me.

This cinema was huge! I saw in the reservation system 600+ seats were available.

Sounds, check. Airconditioning, check. Crowd was silent. I think I was the one noisy. Magugulatin kasi ako. I can't help it. The movie was suspense thriller!

Girls, if you plan to watch WWZ, be sure to bring someone with you. Baka mapayakap sa katabi na hindi kilala. To the guys, this is your chance 128513
