There are some food places which we often pass by and hardly notice but the moment we try them shoots up to the top of our list of recommendations. I’ve passed by this place numerous times before but just didn’t feel it was compelling enough to pull me in the store. To be honest, even though I’ve seen the store from the outside, I don’t know any of the products they sold. I didn’t even have any idea. I just saw Mr. Bean and I assumed it was either a salad store (beans are healthy right?) or a store similar to Ersao. Good thing, after a heavy dinner, the siblings of my girlfriend felt like buying some soy milk from Mr. Bean. Thus, the result was my first experience with Mr. Bean.

All 5 of the siblings bought the cold classic soymilk which I was able to try as well by sipping from them. It was really good and refreshing. I can imagine drinking this to beat the summer heat which is quite intense this year. I ordered something else with flavors but my order of strawberry wasn’t available. So I ended up just getting the almond flavored one. I forgot what mine was called but it was like classic chilled taho with flavoring. Is it the icy soy? That was my guess. I think I can confirm in a few weeks when I try them again! Haha I got really excited because I love soy milk especially if it’s chilled. I am also a huge fan of chilled taho. Finally, I found the prices very reasonable, so I really can’t wait to get back here.

Staff present at that time was not as enthusiastic as I was though. Felt like she just wanted to end her shift, but understandably it was late in the day as well so she must be a bit tired. Wish she put in more effort though since service is a huge factor for some customers. Good thing I really liked their products

That’s it for now! Take care! Stay mahusay!

Went on an ice cream break yesterday after about an hour of shopping for the kids. Instead of going for the usual creamy concoction, we decided to do it "taho" style since we saw Mr. Bean! 80Php for a regular cup of soft serve ice cream is not bad at all. Plus, you can tambay all you want in their store.

The ice cream really tasted like taho in all it's glory, just without the arnibal and sago. It wasn't too sweet too. Great alternative to the usual sundae if you wanna get a little healthier.

Trying a new way to eating 'taho'. I can't compare it with another resto because this is my first time trying this kind. But I actually liked it. 128077

Drumroll pleaaase....

Tada! Dairy-free pancakes! It's made from soy flour daw. It comes in different flavors: peanut butter, cream cheese, chocolate, and kaya. I tried the chocolate one and it was good! It's sweeter than what I expected it to be though. Oh and I had to wait 8 minutes for this.

Will try the peanut butter flavor next time! And maybe the cream cheese na rin (sana dairy-free din LOL 128514)

My new favorite place serving my old favorite snack - TAHO! The last time I was in Manila, I got take-out from here EVERYDAY.

Their warm, classic taho with pearls is wonderful! The tofu is smooth, the syrup not as sweet as 'arnibal', and the sago is large and chewy. I had always wished for taho to be served with large pearls like at those milk tea places. Yum!

I brought Mr S home some wasabi soy beans - he liked those a lot. Also, since I stopped by every chance I could, Mr S got to order some taho. He likes it too. He also tried the chilled Mr Bean special taho, and said next time he'd have it with even more pearls.

Oh Mr Bean, where were you before I met you? (Ground floor, ATC Garden Wing, across Bon Chon.)

Taho kung taho! Eh kung sa addik ako eh, paki mo? Masarap naman siya, lasang sosyal na taho. Pero gawa naman sa panis na soya ang taho? So sira talaga siya. Epektibo sa inyong mga bituka daig pa ang yakult!

Babalik ako, 10084 ko kasi ang taho. 128518

Yummy chilled soy milk (50% sweetness level, without pearls) for only php 55!128522A healthier alternative to milktea or coffee.

I love going here mainly because I love their soy milk and other soy products like taho, yogurt, smoothies, etc. They even have japanese cakes with different fillings like the ones sold in the Salcedo Market every saturday morning. Japcakes have a special place in my heart because it was my favorite snack from the canteen back in grade school and high school9786

Also their branding is so cute!! Just looking at that happy soy bean in my cup genuinely puts a smile on my face every single time! plus the store name 'Mr. Bean' is so cute! haha wala lang, ang babaw lang128513

I love their cold soy milk with pearls! 128516

It's refreshing and I always feel healthy drinking it. Everytime I go to ATC, I never fail to stop by this place.

The place is small, though. But I think it's alright since their product is good for take out.
