Their baked salmon which is supposed to be their best seller/specialty was dry and didn't taste fresh. Their mixed veggies was ok but serving size was small. Food here is not great so no plans to go back.

I have been to many other Chinese restaurants. And those others will always be my favorite. We had birthday noodles, fish fillet conggee, 3 dimsums -- hakaw, taosi spareribs and chicken feet. Basically, dimsums should come first, right? Congee came first and it was a little bland. I didn't taste birthday noodles and taosi spareribs. I really like hakaw and chicken feet. I always order hakaw and chicken feet whenever we go to any chinese restaurants. Place is big enough. The staffs were not attentive.

One of my favorite restaurants. Very good food and very good service. Free wifi pa. I went back for the delicious birthday noodles. Had the roast duck, hairy prawn balls, and beans with minced pork. All really good as well. Reasonable prices as well.

Impromptu Christmas meet up pahabol with my previous colleagues turned into friends, and we decided to have some dinner here. Since, first of all I cannot chew food right, and I really just want to eat congee with a lot of toppings. 128523

Well, just because my tooth aches, it doesn't stop me from eating outside. 128517

I want a congee with Century egg! 128523 But then century egg is a no-no for my tooth as of the moment, so I just had plain congee. 128553 While my other friends ordered wanton mami and beef something, I was there like a child eatingf nothing but plain congee. 128549

The congee tastes okay. The serving was generous, it could actually serve two person. I also ordered mango sago to give something for myself since I cannot eat anything aside from these things.

IMO That mango sago is somewhat tasteless. I would still prefer THW's.

Went out for a lunch with my mom. She loves Chinese foods so I can't resists her request (not craving for Chinese foods that time. Haha).

Anyway, what I like about the place is the ambiance. It's clean and nice compare to other Chinese restaurants that I've been to. We ordered seafood noodles, veggies spring roll, pork and shrimp siomai, mango shake for my mom and carrot shake for me.

The pansit is okay. Nothing extraordinary. Not authentic compare to the ones in Binondo. Good thing is--it's good for 2-3 persons.

I like the veggies spring rolls though. I just think that it's expensive because it's just the same with "lumpiang togue". Haha! The pork and shrimp siomai is okay. I prefer Hen Lin's siomai more.

But the winner for me is the carrot and mango shake. I love it. It's very organic.

Will be watching need for speed that day coz i already watched divergent-- and my friends planned to watch it.... Divergent was way better!

Chinese for dinner!

At first I was hesitant to go inside, cause it looks pricey and that i'm not into chinese cuisine.

I ordered the cold cuts meal... Asado meat, pickles, century eggs, chicken, tofu, and rice.. Php210

We tried the taho.. Good for 8 pax for 150php... I like the texture.. Firm ung taho.

Get 1 order of fish fillet for every 1000php purchase on BDO card... We got two

I have tasted my friend's order: wanton noodles. Noodles were firm but salty. Not into my liking. The siomai was not meaty. Okok lng..

Natagalan ung taho ksi naubusan daw ng stock... But generally their service was 9/10! Nakakaaliw ung isang waiter, parang c boy logro lang.

It is a delightful experience. Because of its proximity to our house, the experience is even better. Yeah... every time I go to a Chinese restaurant, i order the same food in any other Chinese restaurant and i compare. The noodles here are thick and the proportion of meat and vegetables are just right, unlike in other restos, they slip in too much veggies.. Siu mai here, hmm, not the best i've ever tasted but not bad... Price-wise... Worth it...

I have good memories of the one time I visited Mr Choi Kitchen in Galleria during my bestfriend's birthday so I was interested to revisit the good experience. Too bad I could not remember the dishes we ordered back in 2008 though, so we pretty much leafed through the menu without input. :/

In any case, Mom ordered the camaron, lemon chicken, sweet and sour pork, and the oysters for the mains. I requested the century egg as an afterthought, remembering I haven't had that for some time now.

The lemon chicken was the best dish from that list. It was just the right tenderness and not too oily. The lemon sauce was served separate - something I realize that I appreciate in saucy dishes and now prefer. It gives you freedom in putting the right amount of sauce to your liking AND the meat retains its pre-sauce quality.

The sweet and sour pork was just OK. So was the camaron. Mom keeps ordering sweet and sour pork in every Chinese or Asian resto we visit in hopes of getting the same satisfaction she had with this dish in Singapore. Unfortunately, this has not been attained so far.

So here's the weird thing though. I mentioned we ordered oysters. My sister Athena who, I believe - and this is factual - has good diction, gave the order. She said 'tahong'. So halfway through the other dishes, Atch makes a follow up on this dish still MIA. The waiter asks if that means we'd already like to have it served. We blinked, er yes please. Five minutes later, the waiter places this large round container on the table and proceeds to portion a familiar white solid which you'd recognize as taho. I was tired, I guess so were they, so we chuckled it off and had our dessert. Kulang the liquid sugar thingy.

Coffee rub spareribs was good and the Asado baked rice was pretty unique! Hot and sour soup was a little too hot though.

Sorry but it doesn't pass my taste for Chinese food, the food are too salty and too sour. The service is just average. Price is quite high, i can get better taste and service from orher resto at a lower budget. 128078
