I'm back at Hole in the Wall again and I thought I should try something else besides Bad Bird (will make a review on this soon! 128523) and gave Mr. Delicious a shot.

I didn't know what to get so I just ordered their Classic Corned Beef Reuben [P450+ service charge] since this was one of their bestsellers. This was made using their homemade corned beef and sauerkraut, Emmental cheese and Russian dressing on rye, served with camote chips. I had really high expectations based from the other reviews I read. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The sandwich itself tasted a bit bland but the camote chips were really good. (To be honest, the chips saved this dish.) They were really generous with their corned beef tho (so i gave some plus points). Overall, this was just okay (maybe even on the bad side haha!) Considering it was almost P500, it was just not worth it. If given the chance, I won't ever dine there again or at least not order that same dish.

My older sister ordered Pastrami Reuben (450PHp) and Smoked Pulled Pork (390PHp) sandwich, both were delicious but I like the pulled pork better. I find the taste of the pastrami sandwich overwhelming.

Plus we enjoyed their hefty serving of camote chips 128523

Bacon cone, anyone?!?

Saw Mr. Delicious in a weekend market and they offered their sandwiches as well as frozen goods. But what got me was their Bacon Cone!!! OMG, extra rice, please?!?

For 300php, you'll get a cone filled with crispy bacon strips! Smoked Applewood Bacon, in all it's oily glory. It's really tasty with that distinct applewood smoked flavor that's strong. A little steep because you can get 500g of the same bacon, frozen, for 400Php. But this one's a dream come true for bacon lovers. Imagine, going around the weekend market, shopping for food, while munching on BACON!!! Pretty clever idea.

Love this place - on my first visit I had the PASTRAMI REUBEN and I was impressed. FINALLY a place in Manila that serves good PASTRAMI!!! I highly recommend it and MUST mention the side of CAMOTE CHIPS and their homemade BREAD AND BUTTER PICKLES which are STELLAR.

However, I was there for my second visit yesterday. I ordered their SMOKED PULLED PORK SANDWICH and was sorely disappointed. The barbecued pork had no complexity of flavor at all. I was expecting (as is normal if you`re about to eat smoked barbecued pork) to be amazed by spices and smoke but all I got was sweet meat. It tasted like tocino in a bun with COLESLAW which, by the way, was ALSO sweet. The best thing i can say about it is that it was really tender and juicy meat, which would have been spectacular if the flavors had been present.

That being said, I fell in love with the BACON KETTLE CORN, which is kettle popcorn (seasoned with salt and sugar) sprinked liberally with their housemade BACON chips. That was BRILLIANT. And again I had their excellent bread and butter pickles. Why do I make it a point to mention that? Because I am NOT a pickle girl but I LOVE theirs.

I`m going back to try the other items on their menu - like their BACON PANCAKES and SMOKED CORNED BEEF HASH.

Mr. Delicious, I really want to give you 5 starts so please tweak your smoked pulled pork recipe!!!!! It has great potential!

Intrigued by Christina R recommendation, this sandwich joint is joint with smoky bastard. Lol. Beer and sandwich is a good match! However, i have to drive so i'll pass smoky bastard today.

128204 mr. Delicious BLT sandwich
The sandwich itself is just half of a slice of a loaf. However it really is thick! Anatomy of it from top: bread-mayo-tomato-lettuce-bacon-bread then another bread-mayo-tomato-lettuce-bacon-bread. Yun palang e busog ka na. Super thin and big and crispy mixture of taro, potato and sweet potato chips were really masarap! It does look like mr. Grahams, i actually like mr. D's chips better. No perfect ranch dip here though (more points for mr. G)

128204128525 mister delicious' hash
Good serving of Potato cubes, corned beef, beef pastrami, with 2 pcs poached eggs. Really nice combo. The pastrami blended with the corned beef. This is what mr G could not have.

128204128525 ginger ale
It tastes like lemongrass-ginger soda.

Well, i could love mr. D for some other reasons but my first love mr. G has more weight. Besides the previous is much more pricier than the later. 128540

Always happy to be back at Hole in the Wall!!! This time we tried Mr. Delicious and ordered a Pastrami Reuben (PhP 470 incl charges). It's so good! The serving is big enough for two people and is served with a side of camote chips. So really, you're only paying 250 pesos for your share of goodness!

So Pastrami Reuben consists of pastrami, coleslaw, emmental cheese, russian coleslaw and sandwiched in a buttery brown bread. They are generous with the serving, which I like because you really feel that you get what you pay for. Have I told you it's really good? 128523

Will be back and will try their gooey grilled cheese soon!!!

Classic Corned Beef Reuben made with Wagyu beef, their own sauerkraut, Emmental cheese, Russian dressing on rye bread, served with camote chips. 450 pesos.

This place serves one of the most expensive sandwiches in the country. But you get what you pay for here. On my first visit I tried this cheapest sandwich, the Curry Chicken at 240 pesos. While the photos on their menu board were so inviting, I was a bit thrown off by the price and wanted to try a basic sandwich and see how it went from there. I loved it on first bite. Even the H ate half of my order after eating chemical chicken from Bad Bird. Imagine getting a sandwich from your local coffee place for 150 pesos. Even if you bought 2 pieces and stacked them they would be no match for what you can get here. The premium you have to pay for quality is justifiable.

This day I decided it was time to try the Reuben. It has that really thick slab of corned beef. Sauerkraut makes every sandwich taste better. Unfortunately I can never get my photos to show the enormity of their sandwiches. These are really huge. If you want room for dessert you're probably only going to eat half of your order.

You can also order a whole leg of ham, boxes of corned beef and pastrami, applewood smoked bacon, dill pickles and sauerkraut for your own consumption from Mr. D himself.

On my 2nd visit to the Hole in the Wall food place at Century City Mall, tried the Pulled Pork bun at Mister Delicious. Loved it at once at first bite! The pulled pork filling was juicy, very tasty and pork strands were tender. The mild sweet flavor of the pork was truly delightful. Also loved the crispy onion rings and coleslaw sandwiched inside the soft bun with the pulled pork. Loved the siding, too of crispy camote chips from different camote varieties. It was a good break from the standard oily fries that normally go with sandwiches. Enjoyed my lunch here! Would love to try the pastrami next time.128076🏼

Sweet dreams are made of this, who am I to disagree. 128525

So Mr Delicious came up with a cool concept last Thursday. They have a FOOD and BEER pairing 4-course meal. And how can you say NO to beer?!

My personal favorite from the night was the Applewood crispy bacon wrapped plantains served with avocado, honey, and chili on the side. It was epic! And it was paired with Turning Wheel's Rippin' Red Ale. I died. It was soooo good!

But the star of the show definitely went to the dessert dish (on the picture). It was a Malagos Dark Chocalate Pudding Cake with burnt orange dreamkscicle, topped with Honeycomb Candy and Cardamom dust sprinkles, drizzled with a Vanilla Bean Custard sauce, and paired with an Espresso Sorbet. This was just magical! 128525

What's even better? it was paired with Turning Wheels Brewery's Singlespeed Imperial Stout Craft Beer. All I can say is, daaaaaamn! 127867

Definitely a must try when your in HITW and watch out for more of their events. 128077🏼

Oooh, loved my monster chicken sandwich! This thing is massive! My mouth had to expand itself to get that good big bite. It's not a curry chicken sandwich like it says on the menu here on |. Sayang, I think I would've enjoyed that too. It's just a basic sandwich with chunky chicken. Came with a generous serving of chips. The photo doesn't do the sandwich size justice. The H took several bites because even he liked my order.

Took a while to be served, maybe 15 mins.

Oi Marc David M, may point ka nanaman sa akin? Grabe!!! Ang galing mo! Thanks for the reco too Sandra Y9786

The moment I saw that their Mac and Cheese was no longer part of their menu, my heart just wanted to cry. They serve one of the best Mac and Cheese I've ever tried. I hope they bring it back :(

Anyways, we ordered Potato Hash instead. It was flavorful and love how balance the taste was! Definitely going back for more 128525

Best part foodtripping is you get to share foods with friends. I was assigned to order at The Beef and one of my friend ordered in Mr. Delicious. Just by the name and the cartoon drawing of Mr. Delicious it was immediately interesting. They specialized in serving delicious sandwhich. But since I've already ordered a burger in The Beef, my friend ordered the toasted bread with bacon egg and homemade hashbrown. It was like ordering breakfast meal at night.

The 3 slabs of bacon was heaven!128519 It was really good! The little burnt tasted and flavor of bacon was perfect! As all food in hole in the wall is expensive this one is worth it. The homemade hasbrown was also good. At first I thought it was a potato croquette but just realized it was hashbrown when my friend told me. This is indeed a bad ass breakfast meal not to be taken lightly but calories worthy.

Overall this is one of the best stall in Hole in the wall. Something that you'll crave for a long time.

I'm liking Mr. Delicious' Pastrami Reuben on Rye and I'm loving their Side Salad.

The House Salad was nicely fresh and crisp with mixed greens, sugar beets, jicama, carrots , and pumpkin seeds. What perhaps made it really good, was the light yet flavorful vinaigrette dressing that didn't drown the veggies. It tasted clean, very fresh, and "healthy".

The Pastrami Reuben on Rye was quite filling with the yummy sweet potato chips. The sandwich was flavorful with the wagyu pastrami, melted sharp emmental cheese, and creamy slaw. The only downside was that the Wagyu Pastrami had parts too tough for the chew.

I truly miss NYC. Katz Deli is the bomb for me.

This moved me to drive all the way to Century City just to buy a pastrami sandwich and eat my "home" sickness away.

I ordered the Pastrami Reuben- pastrami, coleslaw, Russian Dressing, and Emmental Cheese on a Rye Bread. Comes with pickles on the side and Sweet Potato Chips.

At 425 bucks, a bit on the high side but heft, quality, and taste, it's worth it.

Ate only half the sandwich and a few pieces of chips and all of the yummy pickles. It's good for two people or one really hungry person.

Will try the corned beed reuben next time.

Gotta say though, Katz' pastrami is still my gold standard. 128523

Did anyone say Kamote Chips?! sssssweet yes they have it!! But it's too salty though >.<

We had the Chicken (and roasted apples) sandwich that isnt on this app's menu (I had to recheck cause I forgot what it's called hehe)

All the chicken chunks of life right there!! ohh&&apples too! With lettuce, arrugula and tomato - simply delicious!

Tipyloo: Best paired with Liberation Shawarma's WHITE CHEDDAR FRIES and white sauce. Needing something spiceeeh so I just had to get the red one too. EAT WITH CAUTION. Mustnt be overpowering so you could still enjoy the sandwich.

I think of a mascot dancing to a Miley Cyrus tune the first time i heard Mister Delicious.  The name sounds a lil cheesy if you ask me.  Not as catchy as the other joints at Hole In The Wall.

Saturday.  I was craving for bacon.  I saw a couple of instagram posts about bacon hash at Mister Delicious.  The decision was unanimous,  i have to stuff my face with bacon.  We ordered bacon hash,  a brekkie plate with toast,  eggs,  two slabs of bacon,  hash browns and bacon infused popcorn.

Ze Bacon Hash.  Think of Hormels corned beef hash and replace the beef with Bacon.  Potato cubes and perfectly cooked poached eggs.  I dont need to go into detail.  Bacon is King.

Brekkie Plate.  I made this up,  i am sure they have a witty name for this dish but i cant seem to remember it.  White bread with generous dabs of butter, toasted to perfection.  Bacon slabs,  sweet,  salty,  smokey,  sinful,  heaven on each bite.  The hash browns remind me of the ones in Rustic.  Crunchy on each bite.  I am 99% certain that these crunchy babies were fried using the bacon fat.

I finally get the idea behind the name.  They remain true to their promise, Mister Delicious.  A dude who brings bliss in the form of carefully crafted dishes.
