I've been wanting to meet Mr and Mrs Graham ever since but they leave so far from me! So far that I don't have a chance to visit them, at all. 128557 Thank you Lord that I'm following their IG account because if not, I wouldn't know that they'll be participating in the food bazaar, Pinoy Eats World in SM Southmall!! SOUTHMALL. That's near our place! So I made that I visit them. I cannot miss this opportunity!!! This is it!!!!!!

Ony and I arrived 8pm, an hour before closing. After securing a parking slot, we ran straight where they're located. While most stalls were closed already, thankfully, they're still open and were still happily accepting and talking with the customers. 128513128588🏼

There were only 2 sandwiches available, the Cebuano (P125- Cebuanito, P200- Cebuano) and the Juicy Meatball Sub (175). The sandwich that I wanted to try was not available here 128529 so instead, we ordered their "bestseller".

THE CEBUANO (or the Lechon Sandwich)
-this is their version of the Cubano sandwich but made better because they used Lechon. This was surprisingly good. It's sweet and salty. We liked and enjoyed this sandwich. The bread was crunchy but still soft. The lechon slices were tender and with the right amount of fats. Would just be better if there's veggies or anything healthy on the side to make it a little less sinful? 128517 And too bad, no chips or lechon sauce for us just the actual sandwich.

APPLE PIE SODA
- Since they're giving us free samples of this drink, we tried it and loved it! So we bought one bottle which costs 120 pesos. This was good. At first, the taste was weird and just like any soda drink but after you drink it, you'll get the the apple pie + cinnamon taste. It really tastes like Apple Pie. Ang sarap!! 128525 And oh, they're "craft-brewed". This is made with apple juice, cane sugar, spices, and gluten free water. 100% alcohol free but if you want, this is best mixed/paired with dark rum. 128521

Though the bread doesn't look the same with the menu picture, still it was tasty! Has chicharon in the side.

Free sandwiches thanks to DiscoverMNL and Mr. Graham's until today only! Check out their IG, you still have time.

We couldn't pass this up. Seriously right?! Came in at 12, surprisingly there were already diners on the 2F. Good thing the ground floor table was free, that's our favorite spot.

The Cebuano - lechon with ham, cheddar cheese, and their signature aioli. That aioli!!! Subtle hint of anise, love this one talaga. Though I didn't taste the lechon skin nor mangoes on mine, masarap pa din. (Free)

4 Cheese Bacon Please - gooey bacon, caramelized onion and cheese. My son's order. (Free)

Elvis Press Me - bacon, bananas, marshmallows and peanut butter. Bacon was not as crunchy as I hoped. And the bananas were a bit overcooked. I liked it better the first time I tried this. Buuut, I will still order this again.

We brought home bottles of the Apple Pie Sodas. Guava hopefully available soon.

They have a happy hour from 3-8PM, Monday's-Thursdays. .

Drinks we ordered from the Mrs.

I've seen a number of rave reviews about this resto so I had really high expectations. It was a mistake though that the hub and I tried this for dinner.

I ordered their popular Cebuano sandwich. I got a small one. And since the crispy lechon skin wasn't available, they served the taro-potato crisps as sidings for free (this one I really enjoyed).

The hub ordered the Salmwich (Salmon). It looked so big and chunky in the photo. But when it arrived, my husband was disappointed. It was small and seemed to be only a few bites for him.
The Cebuano was the only sandwich they have that had size options.

The taste was okay. I kinda enjoyed the Cebuano which was filled with lechon strips, ham, cheddar cheese. I am not a fan of pickled yellow and green mangoes though. I should have asked if I can have those removed.

The apple pie soda was a perfect match for the Cebuano. The sweetness kinda overpowered the sourness of the green and yellow mangoes.

The price was a bit steep. We paid almost P800 for 2 sandwiches, 1 apple pie soda and 1 regular cola. And my hubby's tummy wasn't even half full.

Though small, the place was quiet and cozy. That's a plus point.

If I'll go back? I'm not so sure. A part of me tells me that I should try the other sandwiches because of all the reviews I've seen about the place. But I hate to admit that at this point, maybe Mr. Graham isn't for me.

Heads up. Somethings are new here so if you are around the area, why not pay a visit?

128204128525 salmon chips
No need for aioli! They have revamped their chips, calling it a 2.0! Now served with eggs and herbs. My order got salmon bits. The fish was marinated in calamansi so it tastes good. The chips also is drizzled with butter and a little hint of salt--that makes the chips a little less cloying. Tip is to munch on it slowly so your mandibles wont get tired--considering the chips are quite thick.

128204128525 guava soda
Yes. Citrus guava, that is. This could be a hit for those who're looking for something citrus that's not orange or dalandan in taste.

128204 salmwich
Oily this time. But i really loved oozing cream cheese, alfalfa, and tomatoes!

Yey! I hear there's a lot more to anticipate in this sandwich shop. Internet is fast here so --live review128521

One of the few sandwich shops in QC, it has to be at least in the top 5 in terms of overall food quality.

I was looking for a place to stay at due to a rescheduled meeting. I was supposed to try Round Robin Cafe. But good thing I changed my mind and chose this place instead. I went at around 12:30PM and found that there were no customers. One of the dining staff helped me park. Finding parking slots here along Sct. Rallos is tough though. Bring your car at your own risk.

Their server recommended to try their The Cebuano (Php210). It's a 5" sandwich that has lechon meat and cheese which also came with a lechon sauce. At first, I thought the serving was too small for its price. But when I got to try it, oh boy! It was already a favorite!

The sauce compliments the sandwich really well. It made the sandwich easier to eat because the sauce made it "softer". Now I know the reason why it's their best seller. It was really good! :)

I also tried their Apple Pie Soda (Php100). It's a 330ml glass of Apple Pie something, cinnamon, and soda. Pretty good! At first I thought it was kind of sweet, but got used to it after a few sips.

Service was pretty on point. The server asked me if I liked my sandwich. He was very helpful and answered some of my questions. Found out that it's their anniversary this month. Awesome!

I'll definitely bring my family and friends here. Good find!

Mr. Grahams coordinated an event with its new partner Nipabrew. It's such an honor to be invited and appreciate beer pairing with Mr. Grahams sandwiches.

Before we go into the beer tastes, let me just share to you beer 101. Hand craft beers for short are artisanal beers. And you could (just like nipabrew and Mr. G) mix and match or add interesting flavors when you make one. There are four main ingredients of crafting a beer.

1. Water. This is around 80-90% of beer. Water of course dilutes the alcohol. If not for this, we will easily get drunk.
2. Malt. This is were the sweetness/ body of the beer is found. Some malts tastes like wheat, while some malt are grainy (like as pilsner malts). Some malts give the beer roasted flavors. The more malt content, the more alcoholic your beer will be.
3. Hops. These are cousins of marijuana (yup!) these are the flowers from vines that are made into pellets that make that gives the beer its bitter taste. Hops must be boiled so that it will produce its bitter taste. More hops, more bitter.
4. Yeast. Yeast makes the beer. It feeds on the malt, ferments everything then turns it into beer. Options of either ale or lagger yeasts. It's quite easy to use the ale since lagger cannot thrive on warmer temperatures.

128204Sun stoked beer with salmwich
127866The Sun stoked beer gives you a "beachy" lol experience. Smells citrus. This is considered as a blonde ale. Blonde ales are yellowish in color. This is orangey. Brewed with ponkan zest. Sweet and malty at the end. They used Pilsner malt in it with Hallertau hops and English yeast.
Blonde ales or lighter ones are usually paired with light fishes. Just right with the salmon sandwich. The soft zing of the beer mixes well with the salmon. Add the tomatoes with it gives a perfect fresh meal.

128204Tropic Haze beer with clubhouse sandwich
127866 Tropic haze is rather the / a wheat beer. They used the wheat malt in here and got a lot of hops (topaz) in it. It is more bubbly too. This beer is paired with heavier fishes, chicken, and more spicy food. More easily pairable. Derived its name because of hints of some tropical fruits plus with a hazy content.
The clubhouse's chicken and ham combination is the absolute partner for this beer. The aioli of the sandwich contrasts the haziness of the beer.

128204 Midnight Blur with Cubano Sandwich
127866Midnight blur. I honestly did not appreciate this beer. This is rather a dark beer created with roasted chocolate or brown malt. It also has an earthy base hop called Williamete. This beer is truly earthy and is best paired with the sour tasting cubano. Fir me, the sandwich did an amazing job with the beer. It's like the sandwich wore the beer. Cubano is really tasty and is super contrast with the earthy beer. Best paired with heavy dishes.

128204128525 Bliss Point and Elvis Press Me
127866 what more can I say if you see that emoji? I love the hazelnut flavor that ends in a malty taste. The elvis press me salty bacon is a small but powerful contrast with everything--considering a dessert sandwich with a dessert beer. Beers heavy in malt would also give you lasting energy.
Recommending this pair for all sweet tooth.

9757🏻It is never recommended by beer experts to drink something below zero temps. It makes the tongue a little numb negating the beer's small detailed tastes. The best temp is ref temperature between 8-10 degrees. Chilled. The warmer it is, the more flavor it produces.

9757🏻️Drink your beer in a mug or cup. If you drink from the bottle, you'll never get to appreciate its aroma

9757🏻️pour your beer in such a way it is more aerated. The bubbles will help you smell its flavors.

Sold at 150 per bottle, nipabrew is a local brand. One filipino must be proud of. They have beer appreciation nights somewhere in edsa (check their IG). They also brew limited edition beers that lasts a month or two. Patronize them. Competitive with some imported brands plus it's more affordable.

It was an unplanned visit tonight! The parking situation was bad, which led us to Mr. Graham's instead. Well it was a good thing because we liked what we ordered tonight...128515

We decided to share a Cebuano and a Four Cheese, Bacon Please. The Lechicharon was unavailable so we opted out of getting sides. We also ordered their Apple Pie soda because they were all out of SMLs...

Our orders were served promptly and let me say that it was a great decision to opt out of the sides. We have both forgotten how big the Cebuano is! This play on the Cubano using the lechon was still as good as I remembered. You will immediately understand why this sandwich has been featured in article after article of must try dishes in Manila... Accompanied by a medley of chips and coleslaw, this dish is good for very hungry people! We weren't able to finish this despite being famished, so remember that the serving size is pretty generous...

I liked the Four Cheese, Bacon Please... It's loaded with mozarella, cream cheese, cheddar and parmesan making the middle super gooey! The sandwich is accentuated by bacon jam with caramelized onions. We both just wanted a more obvious bacon presence in the sandwich, but this definitely hit the spot! Lovely when accompanied by their Apple Pie Soda, an elevated carbonated drink with a fruity apple taste.

We were so full after dinner! Really enjoyable!128077

Got to convince my sister to try out Mr. Graham last sunday because of the great reviews I've been reading here in looloo. She was still having second thought since she wasn't a fan of sandwhiches but my convincing power finally work.

Mr. Graham is a small sandwhich shop in F7 Scout Rallos. The compound which Senior Pollo and Purple Oven is located. It is located on the front right side of the compound. You might get confuse it with Ms. Graham like me. That one is just a cafe and they have a different entrance. Mr. Graham is the one further to the right. The shop is very small. On the 1st floor is the order counter and 2nd floor is where seats are available.

The menu was very straight you choose a sandwhich plus if you want to add sidedish and drinks. I went for their small cebuano sandwhich which was their own version cubano sandwhich. Added some chips. Apple soda wasn't available so just went for a service water.

The cebuano cubano was a sinful dish. Crunchy chicharon on the side which was crunchy delicious dipped on a litson sauce. The cebuano is a perfectly panned cubano with pork litson, cheddar, ham and some veggies inbetween. I love the sinful flavor in every bite. The toasted bread and juicy flavor litson was so good. The small order is just exact for one person but I think I can finish an order of the medium size.

Overall great sandwhich place. For improvement might be you have to go down just to ask for water since there is no waiter available upstairs. 128522128076

Happy easter dinner and mr. Graham surprises us with free sides and unlimited chips and ranch dip for that day!

Now what? What do you see in the photo?
Yes it's new.

128204128525 salmon sandwich (featured) @php300
Now I don't know, but i hope this lovely and healthy sandwich will stay in their secret menu, well, i hope in their overt menu so that everyone will know! Haha. This sandwich so good it got a thick portion of salmon, cheese, alfalfa, tomatoes. The alfalfas when eaten with the sandwich will give a fresh herby taste that somehow "moistens" the overall sandwich taste. This happens to be my friend's order so i will have to make sure to go back again and to try a whole order just for myself. Haha. Brat.

128204 128525 elvis press me
This was my order, still in the secret menu. Apparently became different from the last time i ordered it. This time the mallows were not totally molten and were obviously bigger. The jacob's praline peanut butter was more now and was spread unsparingly as well. The bacon were a bit hard to bite now. Hehe. See IG pics for this order (also we got the cebuano, sloppy g, the club and four cheese sandwiches)

Let me just add that the sloppy G got some fishy or "malansa" taste. Not really planning to order it given a chance.

Since it was a chips all you can, we chose the coleslaw and tomato soup as our free sides. The lechicharon were off our charts since it was not a healthy option.
Problems are:
1. They ran out of stock of coleslaw.
2. The chips all you can became two rounds only since tgere was no one assisting us.. Man, they got only three servers. Two inside busy prepping and one outside busy serving. There was no time to refill our chips!! 128557

But anyway, we did enjoy the rest of the food. The tomato soup was tangy as ever.

I also got a butterbeer from mrs. Graham served at mr. Grahams. Mm. Real buttery like the candy peter's ball. Lol.

And i also got (why should i miss this) the apple pie soda. Since the sticker was not placed, they just charged us php100 instead of php115.

We only go to QC when I really have to. Last week we found ourselves in this area again and decided to go back to visit the trusty Mr. & Mrs for merienda.

We finally tried their sandwich.

1278044-Cheese Bacon Please with mozzarella, cream cheese, cheddar, Parmesan, beer-n-bacon jam.

127804Taro-Camote-Potato chips.

127804Apple Pie Soda.

Oh I loved the sandwich! That bacon jam was really good! It was sweeter than I expected, I didn't realize it said jam on the menu. It had more caramelized onions than bacon, but it was tasty just the way it was. No taste of beer for me. Came with chips.

We ordered extra chips. Too bad they didn't have the lechicharon which the H wanted to try. I think all of this was only 350 pesos. It comes out cheaper pala when the you get it as part of a meal.

And I saw Mr. G! Uy, you're a cutie haha. I would've said hi but the H was with me and he wouldn't like it.

So again we are rarely in QC, which means we have a limited understanding of the area. This has been our default place to go to because it's in a quieter street, they have (limited) parking right in front of the cafe, and that there are guards in the adjacent buildings.

Liquid apple pie in a bottle. Oh I didn't expect to like you so much but I did! I'll probably be buying them to give as Christmas or birthday gifts to my younger cousins.

You are one amazing fellow Mr. Graham.

Well the place itself was nice but the food we ha were quite a disappointment. I ordered the fish sandwich and what i got tasted more like a coleslaw sandwich, fish in it was really small. We ordered the taro-kamote-potato chips and we got them bit cold and the kamote ones were 'makunat' already.

My brother ordered the sloppy joe and he said it was like a gravy sandwich, salty without much meat. My mom got the grilled cheese & bacon-it was just full of caramelized onions, too sweet an where did the cheese go? Or the bacon?

This shop just continues to go on forward. They finally revamp their menu and made a sandwhich-side-soda option for all. So gone are the days where coleslaw is included in cebuano sandwhich. Yah. Prices kinda notched up a bit. Bit still cool. Last na yan ha. LOL.
The reason for this separation of items in the menu is to avoid over ordering. They saw left overs kasi after making the set menus.

My eyes immediately saw their
128204tomato soup! 127813
I say these came from real globe tomatoes (the big ones) quite pale.. I was expecting a rich red color.. But the taste was amazing. Hit the sour notes.
128204The four cheese sandwhich.
Honestly, it tasted like two cheese only. I missed the other two! So i'm gonna name it two cheese and caramelized onions sandwhich. Yeah.. It tasted more like caramelized onions.. And the bread.. I think too much butter was put on it... BUT. It tasted great with the tomato soup! So do yourself a favor order four cheese with tomato soup.

It nearly made an "ok" for me thanks for the tomato soup, really.. Like how many tomato soups i have already mentioned? Just go for the toma... Oh, you know what haha!

Had late dinner here on a rainy Saturday night. Service was a bit slow but the servers we really nice and courteous.

Me and my friends had the second floor for ourselves since i guess it was already late.

The sandwich that i had was the cebuano. i liked it. The meat filling was generous. The added acidity was right. the mangoes complimented the dish right. the chips were a hit. they also ran out of the apple pie drink yesterday boo. it broke my heart.

I will come back soon.128077

Oops, late review.

Four Cheese, Bacon Please was really good, as expected. It was more than enough for me so I think it can be shared by two people. An order comes with Tomato Soup and Chips.

Inside the sandwich, there's Mozzarella, Cream cheese, and Cheddar with beer-n-onion-bacon jam. Then they fry Parmesan cheese on the bread. The frying gives the outer bread a crisp texture while the inside remains really cheesy and gooey. Thinking about it makes me want to get one right now. This would be perfect with their Apple Pie Soda which I only got to try last night.

I have never experienced bad service here. I imagine the servers get asked a lot of questions since their sandwiches are not really the usual kind. They seem pretty patient.

Mr. Graham's Sandwich Shop just occupies a little space though. There is just one table on the first floor and a few tables on the 2nd. There are tables outside though. As for parking space, expect the worst. You'll most probably need to park on the street.

Since there were no available seats at Mrs. Graham's, we chose to sit at hubby's sandwich shop instead. Although we were so full from our dinner earlier, we just ordered their signatured Apple Pie Soda! Which was soooo good!

And after staying there for an hour or so, we were greeted by their hidden signature dish "Elvis Press Me" due to an untoward instagram incident. Thank you for the nightcap, Mr. Graham!

128298Apple Pie Soda - really tastes like apple pie with a twist
