We went here dinner time and place was almost full. They served a bit late but made sure we had our Kani Roll while our other orders, Chicken Teriyaki and Beef Teppan were still being prepared. I'm not sure if it's because of too many customers but waiting took longer than I expected. All of our orders were good but I felt like I've had the same dishes whenever I go to Japanese restaurants and the taste were all the same. I mean, you already know how Chicken Teriyaki and Beef Teppan should taste like, right? Nevertheless, Mr. Kurosawa's version is not bad at all! The Beef Teppan cooked medium well was very very juicy. I loved the garlic and other veggies with it. It's just sad that we didn't get to order the Oreo Matcha Cheesecake because the staff said it unfortunately melted when they checked their fridge.

Ambiance is great because it's in RWM.

Prices are fair and expected for its location, or maybe it's even cheaper compared to other big restaurants. They have teishoku (sets) from Monday to Friday, for I think around P300.

I would definitely go back here for my Japanese food cravings.

It's nice to be back at Mr. Kurosawa Euro-Japanese Restaurant located at the 2nd Floor of Newport Mall, Resorts World Manila. 🇯🇵 Together with my friends, we are looking for a Japanese Restaurant for a delicious Sukiyaki Soup. First we went to Ichiba Japanese Market but the place was full that time, we need to line up and wait for 30 minutes to 1 hour. So we end up at Mr. Kurosawa Euro-Japanese Restaurant. The waiter approached us and gave us a table good for five persons. We were seated outside/veranda of the restaurant. Nothing change with the interior of Mr.Kurosawa since I last visited it. The colors and dim lights were still the same. The uniform of the staff. Except the area where we were seated, it's not smoking anymore. The waiter handed us the menu, then we got the following:

Spicy Tuna Salad - 1108811088110881108811088️ 5/5

California Maki - 1108811088110881108811088️ 5/5

Smoked Salmon Maki - 1108811088110881108811088️ 5/5

Chicken Teriyaki - 11088110881108811088️ 4/5

Baked Oysters - 11088110881108811088️ 4/5

Beef Sukiyaki - 11088110881108811088️ 4/5

While waiting for our orders, the waiter served us water and complimentary tea. 127862

My favorite among the Japanese dishes we've got is the Spicy Tuna Salad. Ever since, this is my favorite and it has still the same taste so far. The next is the Beef Sukiyaki. Yummy! 128046128031

Overall, Mr. Kurosawa provide us good service and mouthwatering Japanese food.127884

After the movie, we decided to eat at this place. I had California roll and it was good. Also ordered my favorite pizza, Iwo Jima, so crunchy and yummy. Their squid teriyaki is good too, but I think it's too pricey for 350. Their bottomless red iced tea is too sweet, so I end up mixing it with water.

Craving for Japanese food... Ebi tempura is my favorite... I love the spicy tuna salad 128077🏻. Bacon cream dory is good too... Not a fan of wagyu fried rice but it was delicious... Love their seafood ramen. Fair price for their sumptuous meal

Food quality was poor. One of the worst ramen i have ever tasted. Chicken teriyaki portion is so small for its price. Poor value for money. Even their house tea was tasteless. Wonder how many times they watered it down. Wrong decision.

Ordered their tuna and salmon rolls, and their spicy tuna salad. 128077🏼128077🏼128077🏼

What's disappointing though is that a number of their menu items were unavailable that day... 128078🏻

We celebrated Mother's Day at Mr. Kurosawa. We arrived early and at first, the place was empty and we were the only people there. But later on, the people were coming inside until the restaurant was already full. They serve the food really fast which I should give them credit since other restaurants have a hard time serving fast when they are full.

We ordered seven dishes:
Chicken Tempura and Fries,
Fish and Chips,
Assorted Sushi,
California Maki,
Beef Yakiniku,
Steamed Pork Gyoza,
Japanese Salad, and drinks:
Chocolate Shake,
Mango Shake

The prices are reasonable and the servings are good to share.
Because we had a total amount more than 1,500 they gave us a free dessert! It was a nice experience and we'll surely come back.

Just had dinner here with family. I ordered the spicy tuna salad which was a relatively big serving, not bad for the price. I asked them to make it extra spicy which they did. Nothing still beats the spicy tuna at Kikufuji or Nihonbashitei though. But at least the tuna chunks weren't too small.

Everyone else ordered the ginza calamari, crispy shrimps, ebi tempura, kani sashimi, sizzling beef and tempura udon. They were all ok, nothing great. The calamari was a bit bland, the crispy shrimps was pretty small (4 tiny pieces).

Every time I go to this place, i always order the spicy tuna salad. It's already a meal in itself. I love the tuna on crisp lettuce topped with tempura crumbs and Japanese dressing. One order is meant to be shared by 3-4 by the way.

The place is tricky to describe for various reasons:
1) the name suggests Japanese
2) ambiance suggests Singaporean
3) menu includes Korean
4) specialty is Pinoy lechon kawali accdg to the waiter
5) some dishes are actually Chinese
Sooooo... Which is which? I suggest we break away from stereotypes to understand this place, otherwise we'd conclude that its rather confused. It sure offers Asian fusion, but the menu is too mixed-up. Anyway, lets go to taste: i ordered kimchi rice and lechon kawali (reco by kuya waiter). The kimchi rice i love! Very comforting and playful. Its sweet, spicy, and umami in one. The Lech kawali was predictable, but the surprise was the pinya fritters. It tasted like a Brazilian entrée. I hated the red iced tea, it reminded me of sumo sam's. Too sweet, kills the appetite head on - i strongly do not reco it. Go for water instead. Also, the food is too pricey! This made me think twice if its worth it. I might not go back. We'll see.

We got hungry after movie and this was the only resto who can still accomodate us.

🔹Prawn Tempura- crunchy, meaty and not oily.

🔹Japanese fried rice- I didn't try this. But he said it's okay.

🔹Wintermelon and Yojimbo green tea- the wintermelon is not too sweet and green tea is just mild.

🔹Gyoza- meaty and flavorful

Enjoyable, edible, forgettable. But I will give it a second chance and will come back for their tiramisu and japanese pizza.
