We tried their solos meals. I chose lamb bbq, friends chose boneless spareribs.

My lamb bbq was good, though the parsley rice was so so. Would have appreciated the food more if they used good grade rice.

Boneless spareribs is really good. :) i sorta regretted ordering the lamb bbq. Haha

We also ordered their oyster cheese and garlic. Soo good that i wanted all for myself.

Ambience: 4.5
Service: 5
Serving size: 3

Will definitely go back. :)

First of all, the service was terrible.
We ordered the Boneless Bourbon Ribs (1/2) with mashed potatoes and grilled vegetables.
My friend ordered the same except for grilled vegetables (he asked for garden salad).
We were told that their serving time was 30-45 minutes.
We said okay.
After some 30 minutes, my food came with corn!
I was like okay, but you gotta change it to what I ordered.
They took the plate back to change the sides.
Much to my surprise, they said they no longer have grilled vegetables.
Tried to keep my cool and asked for coleslaw instead.
When they served my meal, it had PLASTIC!
THAT WAS IT!!!
I called their manager to complain.
Ofcourse, no customer service.
Note that it didn't happen just to me but also to my friend, that sane night, same table.

DO NOT EAT HERE!
UNSANITARY AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!
YUCK!!!

It was past 9 pm and we were looking for a place to have dinner and drinks with some balikbayans. We surveyed the menu before asking to be seated and the oysters and ribs caught my eye, so it was decided.

I liked the interiors--dim lighting, lots of heavy wood, leather sofas and booths. There were several TVs all showing basketball games, so I guess this place doubles as a sports bar as well. That notwithstanding, the place seemed perfect for conversation, almost romantic even.

Unfortunately, the food was on the lackluster side. I ordered Volcanic Rock Grilled Oysters, House White Wine and a chicken dish (supposed to be one of the highly recommended dishes but it was so forgettable I couldn't even remember what it's called. It must be new on the menu since it's not on the menu published online). My date ordered Boston Clam Chowder, Bourbon Ribs and a Stella served in a chilled mug.

Volcanic Rock Grilled Oysters (with Wasabi Cocktail Sauce)
Rating: OK 110881108811088
It wasn't bad but not mind-blowing either for a place that specializes in oysters.

My chicken dish that was new on the menu and not on the menu currently published here, and I couldn't remember the name of 128556
Rating: OK 110881108811088
I picked the chicken dish because it was marked on the menu as highly recommended, and I figured a chicken dish would be a healthier option than beef or pork for a late dinner. Again it wasn't bad but it was nothing to rave about. It was basically fried chicken, with an odd chili dip that I didn't like much, and a side of mixed cucumber, corn and carrots. It was adequate and filling.

Bourbon Ribs
Rating: Needs Improvement 1108811088
Again, we went for this because it was marked as highly recommended, but we were left disappointed. It was dry and tasted like liempo. The baked beans it came with tasted like canned Heinz.

Boston Clam Chowder
Rating: OK 110881108811088
Not as creamy and tasty as you'd like your clam chowder to be. Plus it had actual clams (yes with the shells in the soup). I know it's a CLAM chowder, but still weird to have the shells in there. Only in the Philippines.

House White Wine
Rating: OK 110881108811088
Tasted like table wine. Which was fine; I don't
expect much from house wines anyway unless it's an Italian place.

All in all, the best thing we ordered that night was the ice-cold
Stella. Again, the place is cozy and good for conversation. I'd probably come back only for that reason alone. Or if I want to have drinks while watching a basketball game.

We were hungry, inpulsive and were looking for some steak house. My friend suggested we dine here and I didn't know they were pricey. The streak that we ate (I forgot the name) which was their bestseller was worth 500+php and I must say that is too much for a small cut of steak. I have had great steaks on the past and they only cost around 200+php AND they are so big and worth every penny. The steak I ordered comes woth two sides, so I ordered their mashed potato not aware that they don't have any sauce with it and their ceasar salad that was just 5 pieces of lettuce with some zesty sauce. The only thing I liked is their iced tea tbh, because it was placed in a tall glass and it was brewed. That is all.

The place created some sense of privacy for its customers because of how the lighting was done. Well thought of. The lay-out and design created a good flow and feel to the space. The couch seats were comfy and so were the wooden ones. Ventilation was good, cold enough respite from the heat outside the restaurant.

Went here for a nightcap with a friend I hadn't seen since over a decade ago...! We chatted up the night with some white wine, lots of oysters (Boursin and Rockefeller) and cheese puffs. Yum. Price was good for the quality of the food. Didn't get to try any main dishes as I had to leave after two hours. Chatting up and catching up made us lose track of time and ordering more food.

Across our table there was a couple holding hands and whispering to one another across the table. I guess this place is not a bad date place as well (can't relate hahaha). Next to us, there were two young ladies chatting away. Three tables away from us, a bunch of middle-aged gentlemen were enjoying the sports channel and drinking up their beers and devouring their various ordered meats (burgers, etc). Seems like this place is a nice hang out for friends, lovers, bromancers (hahah), and just a hodge podge of people who want to chill out after a long day. For a Wednesday, the place was jam-packed full!

Will go back to this place and try the rest of the menu next time.. :) scanned their menu, not too pricey for the kind of food they served.

We ordered beef lasagna and grandma's steak for lunch. We chose to have the steak cooked to medium well. Steak was delicious and I loved the side dishes too (pesto potatoes and grilled carrots/zucchini). Beef lasagna was also great!

I only gave it 3 stars because their staff were quite inattentive. There were only few customers so ideally, they'll be able to serve the customers better since there weren't too many people to attend to. I had to call them several times before they refilled my glass of water. They weren't as pleasant/friendly too - not even smiling (how hard can that be?).

Lastly, there was a fly! 128528 It was flying around our table. Argh. We had to ask for a candle, which we had to wait for, for a few more minutes before they provided it to us. Oh well.

Overall, I liked the food, but service?! I'll choose to just eat somewhere else. We spent about P1000 for our lunch but it wasn't so worth it because of the service.

We visited the place for lunch. My friend en I are the only customers that time. Food was okay except for the smell of the restau which seemed like left wet laundry in a rainy day or maybe they just got done cleaning but it rele bothered me. But their pasta is a catch. Single serving that can be shared by two, worth the price. My friend can't finish it she even asked for my help. Lol

Get the Boneless Bourbon Ribs with the creamed corn and either the garlic noodles or mashed potatoes as sides. For drinks, the banana big beer or strawberry big beer are my recommendations; strong, tasty, and come in a hefty pint.

The fresh oysters were great. Just not sure if the price was worth it (haven't tried Via Mare in a looong time) and if too much of this yumminess gave me a bad tummy over the weekend :(

They served this baby up really quick too. But then more people came in and they took longer to serve my garlic toast and buffalo wings. The chicken is slightly on the strong side of the buffalo wings spice scale, so it's a tad strong for pansies like me.

Might try this again if I wanted a quick fresh oyster fix.

The Oysters Rockefeller and the Baked White Fish are delectable! 128076128076128076 Also ordered the Garlic Pasta, Crusted Salmon, Caesar Salad, and Bourbon Ribs which are 'okay' -- nothing special about the taste but pwede na. Service was okay too! The food got to our tables fast (which I didn't expect in restos same as this).

is it just me or is it my stomach too sensitive for this? I'm so happy i found a place that i can have as much oysters that i want without worrying about LBM or worst, food poison! 128518 Had 3 orders of their Triple Cheese Oyster Rockefeller and the oh so yum tangy spicy Buffalo Wings! Never thought it will become my favorite place instantly! I used to pass by this place going to the cinemas & not knowing it's actually a hidden gem for oysters! Haha! Glad i met the mister, Mr. Rockefeller that is!128150128536

The place was nice cozy and quiet. It's kinda difficult to call the attention of the waiters if you are seated infront of the bar. Low table and sofa by a tall bar = low visibility.

Service was ok. Again if you would be seating by the front of the bar good luck calling for help.

Food was between ok and not ok.

Boston Clam Chowder was like Pizza Hut mushroom soup with added carrots and tiny clams.

Oyster Rockefeller was average.

Bistro steak was overcooked outside pink inside. The cut being used is super chewy with all the litid it'll give your mouth an exercise.
