While waiting for sister to give birth, I decided to look around and find food. I saw Mr. Ube just across St. Luke's! Yayyy, I miss Mr. Ube already, we always eat at Mr. Ube when i was an intern in Binondo. I ordered wanton beef noodles which was tasty, they put generous amount of beef and 3 wanton pcs too. I love putting chili sauce in my noodles, it added that enough kick for me to crave for more.
It was my first time trying their lava buchi. It was love at first bite. I love it! So soft and chewy plus the sesame seedss. Lalalalala 128514 because I loved it so much, I had 2 orders for take out. 128520128520128520

They got my order incorrectly, and since the price is just the same and it was also congee, I just told the staff to be attentive next time. Originally ordered shredded pork with century egg, but they gave me the fish fillet congee instead. Overall the taste was ok.

Where to buy Eng Bee Tin food products on the metro. There you go, here's an accessible one. A perfect pasalubong if you'll visit someone you love at St. Luke's Medical Center. Wide range of selection from hopia to home made kikiam.

And not only that, their store caters hot noodles and rice toppings. Different chioices for noodles or pansit. 127858 128076 very flavorful! You'll be coming back for more!! Im not sure if they are making their own noodles. Nevertheless, its awesome! Rice toppings are served big as well. All worth your money. 128527

The food is really good but we dis not like the serviced.
1. Order was not complete - the cashier is not paying attention to the orders.
2. My Mom is a senior citizen and can't barely walk she asked the manager if they have menu list and she replied "sa counter punta na lang kayo dun".
3. They will serve the food one by one and they are not giving the receipt. We are finished eating when the receipt are given. We are charged for siomai and naichai twice.
4. Crew are not helpful at all.

127836127836I usually visit this place in everytime I crave for noodles and dimsum. Tom yum is my favorite and it is best paired with their gyoza. The gyoza that they serve is very delicious. Mr. U e is also famous for their different varieties of hopia. So if you wanna eat chinese noodles come and visit eng bee teen a.k.a Mr. Ube. 128522

I love food! Fed up with hospital food so I searched for a place nearby for hot and great food..Found this place through looloo and I am so happy about it!

Had the Singapore Laksa, Lechon Macau with Rice and Beef Mushroom with Rice. Kudos to the Chef, sarap talaga!

The Laksa was great, had a lot of punch in it and mind you, I got to head to the gym after this128512

The Rice toppings of Beef with mushroom was equally great...tender beef with just enough sauce. The rice also is good.

The Lechon Macau was ok. Now does it seem that I ate all three orders? Ahahaha 128521

I recommend this to those who'd like something different from the ordinary hospital fare...978697869786

Not bad! We had the beef wanton noodles, singaporean laksa, brocolli leaves, and the beef and ampalaya. All for less than 500 bucks, all perfectly seasoned, and all really well made. Great alternative to hospital fare at St. Lukes!

"Beef and mushroom please, pakitanggal yung beef! Ay yung mushroom pala!" 128514128514

Said the person who ordered before me, it was really funny and since she was the officemate of my relative, I asked the Mr. Ube people to place her order's mushrooms on mine instead cause we're having the same dish anyway. I didn't know what kind of mushroom it was in the first place but then I love mushrooms so whatever. Haha!!

Turned out they used thin slices of shiitake mushroom! AHHHH MUSHROOM OVERLOAD 128525128561 The mushroom's really flavorful and with each bite you can taste the juiciness. It went really well with the beef.

So the dish had tenderloin and thin strips of beef. It was really tender, easy to chew, and it had very few fatty parts.

The dish was saucy too. It tasted like the sauce of the beef and broccoli served in many chinese restaurants.

The rice they served with it had good quality too! It was fluffy and kinda sticky! I like sticky rice so I enjoyed it. Haha! 127834

Chicken noodles and radish cake

To start of the plain clear tasty broth lightly seasoned complements the al dente rice noodles and grilled soft chicken. Simple light dish but works well..

The radish cake was deep fried, crunchy on the outside and soft mashed potato like inside. Its a heavy side dish and can easily fill you up. The seasoning and amount of radish was just right for a cake and the sweetened soy sauce infused with anistar seals the deal.

Cheap quality food, Small place, loud staffs even louder diners, chinese music background feels like im at home 128516

Mr ube/eng bee tin offers a wide selection of flavorful noodle soups like laksa, tom yum and shoyu. Servings are generous and cheap (P100-130). Sulit. Happy food!

Mr Ube's staff are very friendly and helpful! Although the place is packed on weekdays (students frm nearby universities), it's a nice place for a quick snack on weekends...

Mochi, which comes in different flavors, is a must try..
