My friends and I decided to do hiking last February. Since Mt. Jumbo/Jambo/Yangbew was just near Baguio, i didn't hesitated to take the chance because I wanted to climb higher mountains soon.

We went there by my friend's car, good thing one of my friend already went there that's why we didnt get lost. If you would be commuting, you can take the PUJ or ride a cab but I'm not so sure how much will it cost you.

Mt. Jambo is approximately a 45min hike. Perfect warm-up if you wanna hike Mt. Ulap, which I haven't tried (they say it's a 4 hours hike going up) or Mt. Pulag (which is for hikers talaga).

We started hiking by 2pm (good thing it didnt rain that day). Locals will be asking you to pay for environmental fee of 35php. There's also a horse available for rent.

PS. I didnt get the chance to take a picture of the sunset because our camera went zero battery. Note to self! Anyway, have fun hikers!

One of the two mountains for our day hike last Saturday. 🙂

It's an hour and a half from Baguio, so we made sure to leave Manila early.

It just takes around 30-45minutes to the summit and we watched the sunrise there. Nice view of Baguio city and you can even see the strawberry at the summit.
