This review is long overdue and might be my farewell to Mu. Is it true that they are already closed? We frequent this branch because of their oily but good egg fried rice, prawn omelette and oyster cake. The roaring to a boil noodles is also a great option for those who are on a budget since it is good for sharing. The service may be spotty at times but we like their take on Asian dishes. Senior cards honored.

How i miss their san juan branch. We had our family dinner here. Oyster cake mu version was simply good, like how the cheese blends well. Mu charsiu noodles in miso soup and udon was also good. Of course, 3 cups chicken was the best here. 128522

Loved the char siu noodle! I need to go back here again when i get the chance! 128522

The oyster cake got me questioning though. Maybe i'm just not a fan of it? Or it wasn't fresh? It tasted alittle fishy 128064

Maybe noodles are the best way to go when you're here 128517

I miss their san juan branch now that it was already close. So its been a while since my last mu.

Still the same, their 3 cups noodle are best. As well as their charsiu noodles and their buns.

Ordered Baked Oyster Cake and Seafood Chao Mien. Both were good128077🏻. The oyster cake had melted cheese on top! Delicious! The chao mien had generous serving of seafoods.

Too bad their Wilson branch closed down.

I was craving for a noodle soup so I tried the laksa seafood in their menu. I must say I made a good choice! The noodles and seafood were freshly cooked.

One of the best oyster cake fusion in Manila. Imagine oysters, egg, cheese and salted egg, crusted with skyflakes in a hot mini pan. Best dipped in catsup.

Doing new things with old friends that you never thought would happen is a fun experience. In short, i went shopping with one of my good friends and we've NEVER done this together. My discovery is that he shops as slow as he eats and moves! :( by the time we finished, i already knew what to eat.

Dong bo buns!!! I was limited to pork and several food that i was looking forward to this! We ordered bibimbap and their beef curry udon. I took a taste of the curry and it was good. Wouldn't be ordering one for myself as it's rich enough for two. I could only eat some parts of the bibimbap since there was egg and my friend had laway issues. :/ dishes cost around 300 a piece.

Will come back for more buns.

I'm on ramen high as of the moment and I want to try all the ramen restos out there. Mu noodle bar seems to be an upscale restaurant because of its interior. However, their prices are very reasonable. You get more than what you pay for. Their Beef with tendon ramen is one of my favorite ramen to date. Tasty soup, al dente noodles, and the beef... The beef is too much and I ain't complaining! The serving is huge it can be shared by 2-3 pax..

It was ok. The chicken was the only thing that I liked aside from the matcha ice cream. The place is fancy and very peaceful. There's this waitress that noted one of our orders wrong but they were accommodating.

I had Char Siu Pork Noodles and it taste very good. My girlfriend ordered Beef Ribs Rice and... it was damn too delicious!!!! I never had tasted a rice topping that good. I mean great!

The place is dim which I find it quaint, cool, and very homey.

Their specially is noodles. But this restaurant also serves some good asian dishes. It's a quiet place to dine.

The noodles is served in a clay pot looking bowl. The soup is really hot (which is how it's suppose to be served) the noodles and beef was ok.

Got the curry ramen. Serving's big + served piping hot. It's what I expected curry ramen's supposed to be. Just got my tongue burned though.

Oh THW! I wish I would have known somewhere that you only accept customers to be seated until 8:30 p.m. Given that, my second option to bring my friend was cafe shibuya. They were open but we're only serving coffee and dessert. Dang! The Christmas rush is indeed over and so are the Christmas malling hours. Thank goodness for mu noodle bar.

Half-expecting them to turn us down, I was surprised to see that the waiter said we made it in the nick of time. We had five minutes before they closed. Not wanting ramen as I had pho during lunch, I quickly looked at the menu. My eyes widened when I saw the dong Bo buns - mantao!!!!!! My friend jenny had the beef noodles and I ordered the buns and Gyoza. I gotta try the gyoza, it's the way I'm built! Servings looked small in the photo as the prices were relatively cheap as well so I ordered x.o. Rice as well. How much food could that be?

I got my answer when the waiter placed the buns and the rice in front of us. Woah. Servings were enough for two but we ordered food for four! Eeyikes!

Dong Bo Buns - yummy! I could have ordered this and had it all to myself

X.O. Rice - had flavor but wasn't as tasty.

Gyoza was ok but it was soft and tasted differently from other gyozas. Am not sure if it lacked ginger.

Beef noodle soup - not my order but I had a small bowl of soup to taste. It was up to par to beef noodle soup - maybe if I had kung fu panda's opinion it would help. But I wasn't feeling it.

Overall, we left with stuffed stomachs and good vibes. Food wasn't excellent but hot food in your stomach after a long day is great. Company is stellar, too, which makes for a wonderful dining experience. Jenny and I were thinking that two dishes would've been enough for us, but as I'd like to say, "where's the fun in that?"

Service was nice. I would go back for the buns!! Maybe for some other flavor of rice, too! Welcome carbs!!
