I love everything about Mudpie Heaven! From the ambiance to the appetizer to the main dish and of course to the dessert I tried. All were superb. đź’Ż

Ordered the Pulled Pork Tacos — there were a lot of pork inside and the salsa did not disappoint; I actually loved the cheese on top that made it more flavourful. For the main dish, I had the Beer Battered Fish on Olio pasta — it was so great, I want more. Lastly, I had to try their famous mudpie; unfortunately some of the best-sellers were not availaible when I visited but still got lucky I was able to try their Smores Mudpie. It’s a bit sweet but still liked it.

Going back for the Mississippi!!

Osso Bucco Kare-Kare with Dirty Asian Fried Rice, Salmon and Tuna Poke at Mudpie Heaven. Love the location and the interiors. Free WiFi access. It tastes like heaven #not

I remember approaching the owner who was sitting in the bar on my recent visit here. I raved about her dishes especially their own concoction of mint gelato mixed in their Choco Chip Mint Mud Pie. Its intensely refreshing and it perfectly blended with Oreo crust, whipped cream and drizzles of chocolate syrup. This is just one of the many version of their Mud Pies.

My friend and I stumbled on to this location while touring the phase 1 of Circuit Makati strip. It’s located at the very end and hopefully you don’t miss it. It’s also one of the few establishments that are not franchised. When dining out, I would always choose a new concept over the old ones.

The price points for their entrees are on average at Php 450 and up. We found out why when two of our orders landed on our laps. The servings were good for two at the very least. Their Osso Bucco Kare Kare and Salmon Tuna Poke Bowl were too much in portions. We weren’t able to finish these, despite being hungry.

If you are a fan of Kare Kare like me, you’ll probably find their modern take on it differently. The peanut sauce is more on the sweet side, light and very smooth. It is definitely opposite to a more savory, thicker and peanuty texture you and I are accustomed to. Despite this, I loved what they serve. Adding to its success was the really tender Osso Bucco meat.

A fresh bowl of healthy Sashimi with enough crunchy greens is what you’ll expect on their lone Poke Bowl. If you are a pescatarian, you’ll likely rave about this dish. And like I said, it’s good enough to be shared.

Currently the menu is still expanding. The one attached here in their Zomato page has changes already. Expect more novelty in their added offerings.

Hidden at the far end of Circuit Makati's second level, is this quaint little place!

Its interiors are warm and dominated by wooden fixtures and faux greenery but with a clean, modern look.

I've already visited twice and on the second time I was pleasantly surprised that one of the staff recognized me and welcome me back. 128522

Both times, I got their mudpies. (They ARE called Mudpie Heaven, after all 128517) However, they do also offer breakfast meals, sandwiches, pastas and mains. Prices are within the 300-400 peso range.

I had the Mississippi Mudpie and the Red Velvet one. Their mudpies are priced at 200+ pesos each and are approximately as big as my closed fist haha. They're basically varied gelato flavors on cake bases, topped with ganache and whipped cream. They're firm enough to hold their shape but just enough that you get to slice through all the layers. I actually liked both flavors and think they both have a good amount of flavor complexity. They can also be shared so they won't get too cloying!

Tucked in the farthest and most hidden side of the circuit, mud pie heaven can be a great venue for those with illicit affairs hahaha!

I ordered kare kare and was just ok for me. Nothing spectacular though. The servings were just enough for 1 or it can be sharing

Value for money? Well... it depends on how far your wallet is...

It's a newly-opened quaint little shop in Circuit Lane. A little too hidden, though. If you don't explore the corners of Circuit Lane, you might miss it. But once you spot it, you will be enticed to go inside because the interior looks inviting. By the way, they're on soft opening so they only accept cash.

I went here with my mom to have dessert after lunch and we had the Mississippi Mudpie. It's layers of chocolate cake, vanilla and dark chocolate gelato with oreo crust at the bottom topped with chocolate syrup, whipped cream and edible flower. The dessert is too pretty to eat. It's served nice and frozen but just enough that your fork can slice through all the layers without resistance. I find it too sweet though because of the layers of cake, gelato, oreo crust and whipped cream so I suggest you share it.

Located at the farthest depth of circuit, mudpies interior was nice. Very instagramable. Servers were not that attentive. Food was good. The sizes could be shared.
