While most would opt for popcorn and soda for their movie snacks, I would go for Muscle Beach's corn dog and cherry/grape lemonade. Their corn dog has the perfect batter hotdog ratio and the flavored lemonade sure is a great complement.

Sometimes the second choice turns out to be better than the first. I learned that twice today!

Went to ATC to catch the 7:30 PM showing of Pacific Rim. My first choice movie snack was Auntie Anne's pretzel dog but they were out. Thought of a replacement and corn dogs from Muscle Beach called out. I scooted over and promptly ordered but they were out too. So, for the second time I had to replace my original order. I was talked into getting a Hungarian Sausage by the guys from Muscle Beach. I paired it with lemonade and was very happy. Two times lucky!!! 128516128516

remember Nickelodeon's "ahhhh! real monsters"? wasn't really a fan of it, but i remember her and that chicken looking thing with armpit hair, Krumm! hahaha

never really thought of trying muscle beach because..

- for some unknown reason, i always thought of it as some shady stall
- taters is my go-to movie snack bar
- i'm not really into lemonade
- deep fried food is so deadly (except for fries and fried chicken because i said so, hehehe!)

but when i saw Jamie G's review.. i was like fine. let me try that corndog!

AND GOOD THING I DID. 'cause it was gewdd. so good that i finished it even before the movie started. so good that i ran out of the theater and got myself another one. so good that i've decided to add this to my movie snack stapleS.

it just takes 3mins to cook, it's surprisingly not oily and the batter is crisped perfectly (unless you smother it with catsup/mustard). it's a bit pricey at Php95 an order, but heck! i didn't think twice because it rates 5 stars in corndog world.. yummy!!
