Pad thai! Forever favorite. Also try the sticky rice with mangoes on top and vanilla ice cream on the side! (Forgot the exact name though)

This place has never appealed to me. I don't know why. But my son was craving for some pho so we went in.

My son loved his big bowl of beef+meatball pho. He tilted the bowl and slurped it until he got the last drop. Ive eaten more flavorful pho but im glad my son was happy with his food.

Chicken salad was too sweet for me. Though it came in a really big serving.

The fresh spring rolls were ok. But the peanut sauce that came with it was too thick and needed to be more nutty, not starchy.

The winner for the night was the mango & sticky rice. The toasted coconut complimented it well, something I'll do when we make this at home.

I was nursing a terrible cold when I had a craving for anything sour. I went to My Thai and ordered their Tom Yum. It was sooo spot on. My bowl has 3 large shrimps, lots of straw mushrooms and tomatoes. 10084The soup had the right balance of sour and spicy with a small hint of sweetness. I will definitely go back to My Thai. 128150 Btw, 1 bowl is good for 2 but if you're a Tom Yum lover like me, 1 bowl may not be enough.

For me, the best Thai resto serves the best Tom Yang. Here, i would say their TY is average as compared to the authentic thai soup. I loved the Chicken pandan and bagoong rice though.

Had a lunch-out here with my staff last Saturday. There were 12 of us so they rearranged tables for us at the Pho Hoa side of the restaurant since the My Thai side was full.

The food servings are good for 2-3 people so we decided to order 2 each of 3 main courses: the Grilled Pork with Kangkong, Deep Fried Squid w/ Garlic and Peppercorns, and the Chicken Curry (green). And we ordered a glass of Thai milk tea each. 128523

The squid was good, very flavorful on its own (even without the sweet and sour sauce). The squid wasn't rubbery, and the breading was crisp and not oily. The pork with kangkong was ok, but when you really think about it, it's just like normal pork inihaw on a bed of kangkong. The savior of the day was the curry. I loved it: it was mildly spicy, the chicken was tender, and the curry was very creamy. 128077

The food servings are pretty small though. My staff is composed mainly of male engineers with big appetites; I don't think they were satisfied. 128542

I didn't like their Thai iced tea. It had this bitter aftertaste so it wasn't refreshing. IMO, Som's Thai iced tea is way better.

As for their service, it was quite disappointing. It was slow, and uncoordinated. They served us the main courses ahead of the rice, so we were staring at the food for around 10 minutes before we could actually eat it. Boo! And the plates they gave us were so small. Forced-diet? Hmp.
