What I am is really disappointed...

Just got home from Japan when we ate here.. BF was craving for ramen so we went here to eat. According to its menu, they have branches in Japan so I was expecting an "authentic" taste. I should have expected less.

To whoever's reading this: Sorry, we weren't able to take pics of the food (we were excited to eat right away and didn't have the chance to do so). After the disappointing first taste, we forgot about the pics altogether.

My BF ordered Niku Fuji Udon, while I ordered Inari sushi and Curry rice (small). Let me review the food one by one.

*Niku Fuji Udon - tolerable. Nothing extraordinary or "authentic" with the taste.
*Inari sushi - I had high expectations since this is a simple sushi to make, but hell, nalungkot ako ng sobra. This is my most favorite sushi!!! Una sa lahat, tinipid nila yung rice. Seriously. Pangalawa, masyadong maasim. Like, what?! I thought you were from Japan... Guys. Learn to make this.
*Curry rice - carrots and potatoes were waaaaaaaaaaay overcooked. Hindi mo na sila halos makita. And the taste? Like they used a curry mix from Japan. That anybody can make. Again, nothing extraordinary.

It was a sad dining experience. Please do improve. With the amount you're expecting the customers to pay you, you should make it a point to improve.

Food here has improved from the last time i visited. The soup base of the soba is more flavourful, and the noodles were more firm.

I also liked the katsudon. The pork was savoury, seeet, and tender.

I wouldve given them four stars but the manager and staff were a little snooty. Everything they did was heavy handed, and nobody was smiling. The manager was on his phone the whole time, and all he did was shout orders to the staff. There just wasnt a nice vibe and i was if-fy about asking for anything.

Food was good though. Hoping for better service next time.

It was a rainy night and were looking for some soup thats perfect for this weather but were aint in the mood for ramen so we ended up at nadai fujisoba. 128522

I order their kake soba and ebi don set meal for P380.  I was really hungry when i order but i didnt realize it was a full stack meal cause i went home really full.  But before going into that their kake soba was kinda ordinary for that night, cant go into much details but i dont feel the bucks worth of it.  I just felt its half the price of its worth.  Ebi don comes with 3 huge pieces of prawns on top of rice, the rice seems ordinary not the usual premium japanese rice but it was of huge serving.

As for the interiors, we were seated below an air conditioner vent and it was beginning to trickle some water towards the end of our meal something that needs to be fix.  I feel that it was a little messy inside, floors were at dirty white and you coud literally see the mess up kitchen at the place were seated.  I think a little uphaul would be nice.

Matcha at 100 for 2 small scoop were abit upscale for me.  It was a bit creamy but nothing special. But curiousity and matcha crave got the best of me so i order for one.

Overall it was just an okay experience for us.

Honestly, I really don't like trying new restaurants because I had experienced getting disappointed many times so I always stick on what's good. Good thing my brother loves trying new food so we saw Nadai Fujisoba and checked their menu. I was so happy with the prices of their food! Haha. Very affordable and great foooooood!!!

Service is really good and the food (well, we ordered the Katsudon and Oyakudon) was delicious. 128556 For sure you'll be leaving here with a full tummy!

Cost-wise, I'd say the food is worth every peso you spend 128522

Enjoyed this bowl of hot Niku Fuji soba, noodle not too soft, with a flavorful soup that taste just right, served with thin slices of beef, egg, seaweed, and spring onions, for php 260. Ordered extra O ebi ten tempura, 3 pcs of large prawn. Enjoyed the dinner.

Nadai Fujisoba is one great discovery, amidst the endless trail of restaurants in High Street! 128522

My friends and I decided to have dinner here one Friday night. My initial impression wasn't that remarkable, as there was no one in the resto's entrance to assist us (ie., inform us if we can be accommodated or if we have to wait). One of my companions had to go inside to ask, only to be told to wait outside. Once we were seated though, customer service fortunately improved.

On to the food. There were so many options to choose from, some of which their differences cannot be clearly distunguished from the others. From the assortment of soba, udon (can choose between hot or cold noodles) and various rice bowls, I ordered the Onsen Tamago Udon. My friends got set meals that combined cold/hot udon/soba with Gyudon and Katsudon.

I loved my choice! The udon was just the right level of thickness and texture, the broth was very flavorful--a mix of sweet/salty, perfectly complemeted by sprinkles of green onion and bits of nori. Even though my udon didn't have any meat in it, it was already quite filling; I was extremely satisfied!

Ambiance-wise, the interiors of this restaurant lived up to its Japanese look and feel. A banner with Japanese characters hung in the ceiling, behind a background of black and white designs. The place wasn't that big so it was super full when we dined here; seats were very near each other that I could have heard what the folks in the next table were talking about (if I paid full attention to them).

The icing in the cake was that my order was only PHP200 plus 10% service charge! Hurray for another cost-efficient find in BGC 128522

Overall, a superb dining experience. Nadai Fujisoba is now on top of my list of best Japanese restaurants!128077🏼

Got to try 2 kinds of tempura: ebi tempura and fish (Kisu Ten). You can't go wrong with tempura. Then I ordered Gyudon Rice and I liked the sauce because it isn't as sweet unlike the other Jap restos.

It's fairly affordable and the staff were all friendly/accommodating. I'll go back to try out the other dishes. 128524

We tried their best seller dish, AKA FUJI SOBA (P260) This is the spicy version of NIKU FUJI SOBA (P260). You have the option of soba (thin noodles) or udon (fat noodles). The soup tasted like regular miso soup but when we tried it with the noodles and the spicy beef, the flavors went very well together. Warning: Medyo maakas lang makasamid ung spicy powder. Make sure your water is on stand by and also order their house cold tea!

We also tried EBI TEN MORI SOBA (P260). We just ordered the EBI TEN it was still very huge compared to the usual tempura in other restaurants. You should not leave this place without trying their tempura! It came with cold noodles and a soy-based dip you can mix with your noodles for added flavor. It was also very good, parang kanin lang ung noodles.
EBI TEN VS O-EBI TEN:
PP: Ano po difference ng EBI TEN sa O-EBI TEN?
Server: Yung EBI TEN shrimps, mas maliit. Yung O-EBITEN prawns.

Overall rating: 4/5 Good food, reasonably priced, great service and new concept. It's not the type of food you would come back to and crave for but it was overall a very satisfying meal.

Tried this out on a rainy night to while away the traffic. The food is ok and the soba was very filling. I liked the quality of the noodles but was disappointed with the rice. I don't think they used authentic Japanese rice as the texture and taste is different.

Ebiten Soba/Udon was just okay. I loved the place and food but it's not something I'd crave for.

Random date nights (on weeknights) are the best. It’s a nice break from work and preparing dinner at home. R and I hardly have those lately so it was refreshing when he suggested that we eat out last week. And it was perfect as I just checked a list ofrestaurants I wanted to visit along high street. One of the restaurants I was eying was…

Nadai Fujisoba.

The cute soba and udon restaurant was half full when we arrived. Since R was hungry, we hurriedly ordered O-Ebi Ten Mori Soba (PHP260) and Niku Fuji Soba (PHP260). We also got Sobacha Pudding (PHP80) which the server initially described to be made of soba but it was tea pudding.

Service was very quick as our food was served within the 5 minute mark. I was impressed.

R’s cold noodles was served with two pieces of tempura and a cup of some sort of watered down soup which the server suggested to be mixed with the remaining dipping sauce and drink it like tea. It was said to help blood circulation. Not sure if it’s true but… okay!

The noodles were prepared well. It was hard enough for that nice bite. The dipping sauce was also refreshing with a hint of tanginess. It was a tad spicy though as R put in all the wasabi.

But if you’re hungry, it’s better to order Niku Fuji as it was more filling. I think it had more soba and the thin slices of meat made the dish heavier too.

I loved the broth and it wasn’t the oily and ultra savory type. I could finish the bowl by myself without getting tired of it (umay).

The Sobacha Pudding was… quite bland for dessert. It had a nice texture though and a refreshing take on tea after meal.

Overall, it was a great dinner. Let’s have more of this, R! <3

i ate here thrice and i will keep on visiting them to try more soba! i never had a great soba until i found this place. I tried their ten zaru soba. Its prawns are big and crispy. i like the taste of wasabi in every sip of the soup. I know the tradition is putting a little wasabi on the noodles and dipping it into the soup, but i put a little on it because I like it.

I also tried the hot soba,Aka fuji soba. It was enticing to eat. It is flavorful and not so spicy. Putting some crispy fried tempura bits also give additional texture on it. Though, I kinda regret it because the place is already hot when I ate, i do not know if its with their aircon so i feel warmer.

They are consistent in every visit so I will keep on coming to try more and more. Happy customer! 128518128518
