I am never going back to this place again.

My first horrible experience was when I paid for foot spa with pedi (around 900+) I didn't like the foot spa (it left my feet super rough) and the pedi was awful (my toes were butchered that resulted to wound infection cos it took awhile na mastop yung bleeding). Horrible.

Second horrible experience was during Mother's day. I gave this nail spa the benefit of the doubt, baka naman this time ok na (MY MISTAKE) They likewise butchered my mom's toes and the shape of my toenails got really weird (I told them straight cut lang but my big toenail looked triangular -kadiri, I know). When me, my mom, and my sister were doing pedis here, may customer na nagwala cos they put some kind of oil tapos they charged her for it (wala naman sinabi sakanya tapos the oil was mej costly) and there were false accusations made against her by the manager/staff. Basta something like that. You dont want drama inside a nail spa. Di ba. So we were super turned off.

After three months, I decided to go back with my mom (just because the place was so convenient and I was too lazy to go to my fave nail salon), we were given our seats and nilagay na yung feet namin sa basin when this girl told me that they will charge 250 to remove my gel nail polish na pinagawa ko sa ibang salon (pero if pinagawa ko daw yung gel nail polish dun, no charge yung removal) -i mean, I dont see the logic behind this! 🙄 Tapos I was trying to make sense of this extra charge tapos this girl announced to manager na "nakagel si mam oh" (something lang like that para ipush yung 250 charge) then the manager signaled na icharge ako for it. I could have easily lied and tell her na dun ko ipinagawa or I could have easily paid for 250, but I have had enough of this nail spa. I stormed off with my mom and we are never ever going back.

Php 230 for a manicure sans top and base coat. Polish used is too sticky. No option to dry nails.

Highway robbery. Boo!

While waiting for my sister to finish her check up, i decided to get mani pedi with my mom. I usually go to nailaholics but its my first time here in their megamall branch.
Classic mani is 190 and classic pedi is 230 (according to their price list) so if my mom had a pedi and i had mani pedi i would be paying 650.
But when it was time to pay i was handed with a receipt that said that i had to pay 800. There were no particulars in the receipt just the total of 800.
So i asked the staff why and she said because they put on a special coat of some treatment i knew nothing about.
The woman there acting like the supervisor was even subtly treating the nail technicians badly. She was definitely bad with handling her staff in front of customers.
Although my nail technician gave me good service, i would never go back to this branch because it is such a rip off.

I think it's safe to say that I'm never going to have my nails done here again.

I had my regular polish done here before. The application was too thick and it came off pretty quickly. I thought that was an isolated case but I'm guessing not based on the reviews here and my recent experience.

Recently, I tried my first gel polish with them. That was on a Thursday night. I don't know the brand they used on me but I'm sure it wasn't Orly because I didn't like the Orly colors available. They only have 2 brands anyway so I chose the other one. My polish looked okay. It's not too thick, and is actually thin considering it's gel. But when I went home that night I saw that the polish on my left thumb was peeling off! Too much for gel. Didnt even last me 4 hrs -_-

So despite my busy schedule, I went back on Sunday. The lady who did my nails recognized me immediately when I told them I needed a retouch. So she proceeded with retouching my nail. But what ticked me is that she had the nerve to be bitchy at me. As if it was my fault my nails cracked as soon as I went home.

Anyway, it's Monday now and guess what? The nails on my right thumb and ring finger are now peeling off as well. Good god. I know they're going to charge me 100/nail if I had these retouched because 3 days have passed so I didnt go back anymore. Besides, I wouldnt want to see that girl who gave me the angry eyes just because her application doesn't last!

Another thing that I hate about this store is their hidden charges! They told me that gel polish removal is free if you have it done there so yaay I thought I would get it and remove it for cheap. BUT MAN WAS I WRONG. While doing my nails the first time, the lady actually told me that it is free BUT you have to avail of their cleaning services or have a regular polish done. The cleaning is around 190 (I think) and the regular polish at 200+. WTF? False advertising much. Their menu doesnt even offer the gel polish option alone. They make it seem you have to get packages instead of just one specific task done unless you ask for it specifically.

Nail a holics in Megamall disappoints me greatly. I know gel polish doesnt last forever. But I expected it to last me even a day. I can put on regular polish that lasts longer than their gel polish does -_-

Btw, my gel polish costs 850. Removal costs depending on what service you avail when you come back next.

Backlog..

I'm so happy with the result! 9786

It's pampering time with bf Darz R yey! He's on looloo now. lol. And mom and dad.

I tried their gel polish. I was so hesitant before because it was so dear. ☹️ But since I'll celebrate my birthday. Wala lang. Hahaha! I gave in. The procedure alone is quick but with the other treatment and spa, and cleaning took me one to one and half hours I guess. We were so happy, we didn't had to wait too. There were few customers. The place is usually full packed.

The set I had comes with foot massage. It was so relaxing. They have a bunch of colors to choose from. This one is orly's Hawaiian punch gel polish. The cleaning was perfect. Actually I already have my own nail artisan. Their couch tho was a little dirty for me. 128530128078🏻 And the place was a bit crowded. I got scared when someone passes through my artisan. 128560 She might bumped her and thinking it will ruin my nails.

My parents were happy naman. They fell asleep five minutes after settling down. lol. And me too! This was taken a week or two after the service and yet it looked like fresh paint. 128513 Pictured it while I try new shoes. Hehe. 9996🏻️

I am a regular here and I already have someone who take care of my nails. 9786128133 I wanted a Christmassy nails. What I think was lacking is their sofas, chairs and pillows. I think it's already worn out, might as well change it.

My big boys wanted to go to the gun show in Megamall, I grabbed the chance to have my me time...
The ambience was way better than the one in Market Market, so 1 star for that.. service I have to give 1 star for being prompt and courteous.. Free wifi weee! 128522128522128522128077128077 another star for that, this is a must for people who always wanted to go online (even on me time ) 128522128522.and of course to post reviews on Looloo.128522128522

Then the pedicure comes.. My attendant accidentally clipped my skin with the nipper ( ouch ) 128560128560128557128557. Twas bleeding heavily. Then she clipped my left ring finger again..(double ouch ) 128557128548128548128548128548 luckily it wasn't as bad as my toe nail. But it still hurts.
Was I happy with the service? No , 128534128534 but my nail polish was posh tho.. 128530Probably minus the injuries i had, I would've given then a flying 5 stars..128554128546128530

For some reason, i keep going to different branches of Nailaholics. This wasn't my first visit in this branch. From the outside it looked full. I was surprised they had an available slot. I heard them discussing that they would let me sit down then transfer. I said i preferred to wait by the reception area if that's the case. They said i could proceed to the seat. Less than 5 minutes into the foot soak, they asked me to transfer. Hayyyyyy!!!!! Although they wiped down my feet they were still a bit wet. Walked barefoot since i didn't want my sandals to get wet.

I had to pull back my hand at least 3 times kasi hindi magaan yung kamay ng gumawa sa akin. Mabait naman siya. I wasn't able to get her name though.

Their wifi wasn't accessible.

Another thing i didn't like was that they were talking in a dialect. I think that's rude when other people are around. I wasn't able to understand what they were saying but i think they were discussing how much tip they got from the foreigner who just left.

I also observed that some of them were wearing their masks (?) on their chin.

I didn't check |ooloo before going here but I already heard it was just 'Okay.' I was supposed to try Beauty&Butter but I forgot to make an appointment so I ended up here at Nail-a-holics with no waiting time. I didn't like how my mani/pedi turned out. The place is nice but the service is ordinary and not worth my 400pesos.128527

Pampering time again! 128556

One of my favorite thing to do. Get my nails done. 128522 After Sunday Mass, my mom and I went to Nailaholics where we usually have our nails and feet pampered.

I love the place! Although it's not that spacious, the couch, pillows and wallpaper are matching. The place is sort of a beach or resort. The background song is also calming, you'll fall asleep but me.... not! lol. I'm enjoying my foot massage. 128133128099128556128077128524

Came here cause the staff were handing out flyers outside their salon. Place was kinda filled when I came in. Got their pedicure. P220 then plus 40 for additional branded polish. They have brands like opi, china glaze and orly. If you don't wanna shell out the extra 40 pesos. The brand bnc will be used. Never heard of and seems cheap. Only 3 polishes of bnc are available so you are forced to kinda opt for the branded ones too. Argh!

Place has a beachy theme. Colors of blue were dominant. The staff placed a lot of pillows to keep me comfy. Like 3? Woah!128541128521

Their pedi includes: soak, shape and file, cleaning, massage and polish.

I got kinda bored cause their wifi isn't working and they didn't give me magazines at all. I ended up playing games on my itouch and taking selfies cause I was so bored. The manicurist was nice enough to let me try on many colors. I tried like 6 colors before I finally decided. I think that she did a good job in the pedi. Didn't hurt at all, very gentle I shall say. I think they don't sanitize their tools cause it doesn't come out of a plastic packet. Oh my. 128561128561128561

I've been going here ever since they started offering gel polish. Its P600 but I find it so sulit because the polish is hard to remove and it lasts for more than a month..

But my last polish was a different story. 128530 Just 1 week after its application, few of the polish were starting to coming off. And 2 weeks, three of them were completely off (gel polish doesn't usually crack, they come off as a whole). I went back to the store to have my nails retouched but they said I had to pay P300 for the three nails!! I agreed anyway because I had an expo to attend the following day and I need to look my best.

The service was good as always. Very friendly and accommodating. What made me love them even more (but made me pissed off at the same time) is when they told me that retouches before a month is reached can be given for free for gel manicure. I just have to really impose it because others have done it daw. The fact that you need to be a little angry to get quality service really irritated me. I was planning to rant at the ladies on the desk but my mom kept calling me to hurry up so I decided to just let it pass. Inisip ko nalang they are not doing good financially so tulong ko nalang 'to. (Pampalubag loob haha)

But just when I thought it was over... Boom! The next day (while meeting with some prospective clients), most of my nails were coming off, pati yung retouches!!! I was soooo 128544128545128134 fffffffffff! Buti nalang may desk so I was able to hid my hands!

Lesson learned! Will NEVER go back here again!!! (Wheeeeew! Just had to get this out of my system! Haha)

Today, I went for a pedicure for the obvious reason that my toes need to be repainted. I always go for red toes because its the most flattering color for my feet but I decided to make a shift. I opted for a blue green metallic color from China Glaze called Sexy in the City.

What I like about nail•a•holics aside from the super comfy seats are the wide array of services they offer to customers. They even accept bookings for nail spa parties (which I think I should try sometime with my friends). I also like the ambiance and the nice blue walls.

I had the Palm Beach Pedicure for Php 220. The only thing I don't like is that I need to pay extra for the polish. :(
Php 60 for the O.P.I. and Php 40 for China Glaze.
