Nail Tropics has been my go-to nail spa whenever I wanna treat myself a little extra. Its because the vibe here is so relaxing and posh. The chairs are so comfortable I always almost fall asleep. The room smells so lovely too! I just get my nails - manipedi done most of the time (375php) + extra if I'm putting a nail polish + tip. The staff are nice, and they are good too. I personally believe that you should have a go-to manicurist who knows your nails than anyone else so that you wouldn't have to explain everytime what to remove, what not to remove, and stuff like that. Never na-massacre yung nails ko here so its really a good thing, right girls?128521

I haven't tried any other treatments yet, because I don't think I need them (yet) so maybe in the future hehe there were times that I had to call in early for an appointment but during weekdays, its not really necessary.

PS. They do back massage after the service, aside from the mini hand and foot massage so its a plus for me!

Had my nails done here last week, and surprisingly, my nails still have paint on them! 128133🏻 Well, the polish itself are chipped already but the paint's still on it! Got their Pampering Privileges Card and yeah, I'll definitely be visiting this salon again soon. 128129🏼

The nail technicians were very well trained. My nails were trimmed, shaped and cleaned very well.

I was supposed to have my pedi only but since I was very satisfied with how clean my toenails are, I asked them to have my nails done too.

Place was also relaxing 128077🏼most of the customers felt sleepy while having their mani/pedi

Once every 2-3 polish cycles, I would opt for their Healthy Nails treatment to help my nails breathe from the nail polish chemicals.

Fast and efficient, we were done in 45 minutes for both hands and feet.

I noticed though that they now charge an additional P60 pesos for healthy nails whereas before, it used to be the same rate as the regular maniped.

Finally, I know where to get a pain-free pedicure! Thank you, eiLeeN T and Jamie G for the recommendation!

Quick and efficient, getting more than your money's worth (P250 for mani and pedi). The space is small though.

I also tried foot paraffin. But this is a different story. I used to have hand paraffin session during my programming days. It really relieved the tiredness of my hands. I decided to try for my feet.

The first dip was ok. Then the second dip was... "Mother, father!" My foot wanted to scream. It was a suffocating pain for my toes. Ouchy!

Anyway, this is just me and the foot paraffin. I still recommend nail tropics if you want to get mani/pedi quickly but perfectly.

I have yet to find my trusted go-to nail salon because I can never settle in one place and I like trying out different places. But recently I've been going to Nail Tropics a lot since it's conveniently located in Town and I kinda like how it's hidden inside Rustan's, away from crowds. But what I like most about this salon is the relaxing ambiance of the place where they have an asian/zen thing going on. Their seats are huge & comfy plus the place is very hygienic.

I always get the classic mani which includes both cleaning and polish, for only php 185. Salve, the nail artisan who always does my nails is very gentle and has flawless polish application skills. Although they have a nice collection of polishes, I usually bring my own, and during my last visit I had my nails painted in my favorite shade, Rouge Noir.

Indulged on a manicure spa and pedicure spa as the past 2 weeks had been really hectic and toxic.

I chose Nuts About Firming for the mani spa and Butter Me Up for the pedi spa.

The mani spa consisted of a scrub, mask/wrap, Swedish hand massage, nail cleaning and (optional) polish. "Nuts About Firming tightens and firms your skin to a specially formulated blend of micronized seaweed extract, collagen, olive oil and local pili nuts."

The pedi spa consisted of a rigorous scrub, therapeutic foot massage, nail cleaning and (optional) polish. "Butter Me Up is a buttery smooth treatment aids to soften rough, calloused feet with a minty blend of cacao butter, spearmint oil, avocado and sea salts." This one smelled soooo good because of the cacao butter, parang masarap kainin, teehee!

I settled for the classic french tips for my polish as I have a couple of important meetings this week. Easiest to maintain and professional-looking too.

Since I availed of hand and foot spa treatments, the combo costed only P780 and they used Orly for french tips! Sobrang sulit!

Scheduled a mani-pedi + Sheldon G's monthly pedi because we got nothing better to do and we didn't want to go with the crowd on Town Sale (and Enrique Gil + Julia Montes' ATc taping.)

Nail Tropics was packed, so I was glad I called in earlier for a schedule. I was planning on toe nail art, but when I found out it's P50 per nail, e di plain nalang! Sorry, but I won't pay P50 per nail if I can do it on my own. 128543 Shiela did my pedi, she was goooood. When she was almost done and she saw a bubble, she re-did my big toe agad without having me ask her. I like that! (Tip: I borrow nail polish bottles from neighboring Laura Mercier and Nars Rustan's! Not sure if they really allow that, ka-close ko lang yung mga sales girls there, but you can ask!!)

While I brought my own polish for my black-pink French tip, Darlene did kind of a sloppy job. :( But she was nice naman when I asked her to re-do it for me kasi and daming lubak nung gawa niya.128543 And after she re-did it, ganun pa ren... I guess I'll just have to settle with her work and do it again at home. Mahirap nga naman yung colors that I asked her to work with.

Sheldon's got happy feet, too! 5-star finish!

Nail Tropics is the best Nail Spa place, IMO.:)) Love the ambiance, the cozy couches and nail artisans! Their wider range of polish brands is a plus, too!

Regular mani pedi with couture polish (Orly Bus Stop Crimson), free foot massage from their frequency card (10th visit), done in 60 minutes.

Hubby got their sports mani pedi and was done in 30 minutes.

Not your regular nail salon. The nail artisans are very well trained and take special attention to what you want done. Ambience is great and the place doesn't smell of nail products at all. They make you feel pampered without even trying.

Been a fan of this nail salon for 10 years now... Started in Eastwood and back then, no need to book an appointment. Six branches later, still goes back to them for proper nail care.

For my first review on Looloo, I wanted to write about a place that's been very consistent over time, one I would readily recommend to others.

I've been going to the Nail Tropics ATC branch for 6 years. I've also been to their Serendra, Makati, and Shangri-la Plaza branches, all of which are still good, but I like this branch the best in terms of consistency and quality of service.

The ambience is relaxing, and it doesn't smell like acrylics when you first step in. The products they use smell good and feel nice on the skin.

I like their chairs, comfy and reclined. They have a good selection of nail polish and magazines.

All of the nail techs are commendable. They have light, gentle hands. They apply polish carefully - it always covers the entire nail, even the very edges of the sides. My mani/pedis have always lasted longer when I have it done here.

My mom and I have been regulars since 2007 and can't recall a single bad experience. I've hosted a close friend's spa party here (she's since become a fan), and my surprise bridal shower was held here too (since everyone knew it was my go-to nail place). I also made it a point to have my nails done here before our wedding (which was outside of Manila).

My usual services are:
- classic mani/pedi with Orly or Essie polish
- foot spa, sometimes with extended massage
- half-leg waxing
- back massage

Nail Tropics is at the ground floor of Rustan's in ATC, at the corner next to the lingerie section. In my experience, making a reservation helps especially during weekends. They're almost always full then.

I decided to get a gel polish 4 weeks ago, and as you can see in the picture on the left, the polish is still intact. This is why I decided to avail of their service again.

Overall, great service, professional & very attentive staff.. 5 stars 128077
