This is probably my cheapest mani-pedi service as of date. I got a 500 php off because i have a tropiclique membership card. Good thing I availed this card prior my birthday. I just presented my membership card and automatically got a discount.

You can avail of the birthday discount by presenting the membership card together with a valid ID showing your birthday. It can be claimed 7 days before your birthday and 7 days after your birthday.

In total, I only paid 120 php. I availed a Jessica Phenom on my hands and a regular polish using Orly on my feet. Although I had to add 60 php if my regular polish is one of the following: Orly, OPI and Jessica.

The cashier actually recommended that I availed the gel polish as it lasts longer but my nails are brittle, so gel polish is a no no to my nails.

The nail artisans who assisted me are Gail and Mara. Gail was very helpful. She helped me pick the nail color for my hands and feet (because I was using different brands, we had to choose a color that matched). Also, since i wanted a different color on my left ring finger and right pointing finger, she repeated the instructions to me twice just to ensure she got me right. I also wasn't able to decide if I wanted a round or square cut, I guess she noticed I was having a hard time deciding, so she suggested to just do a semi-square cut. While Mara on the other hand was very helpful, she removed my sandals before my service and helped me put it on after my service. She even informed me that my Orly polish will take 1 hr to fully dry up which I appreciated because most of the time the manicurist will just tell you "mabilis lang yan or tuyo na po yan". She even told me not to worry since I was wearing a sandals it won't get destroyed as long as it doesn't touch anything. Both Gail and Mara were very gentle and did well with the 3-mins massage. Made me wanna go visit a massage parlor next.

So lucky that they were still able to accommodate me since I only contacted them on the same day I want my service to be done. I made reservations via their FB account. Their FB account is very responsive, accommodating and easy to talk to. (Note: Always make a reservation in advance or days before)

Prior confirmation of my 730 pm reservation via their FB account, since I was able to pass by their shop around noon, i was informed that time that no slots were available anymore for walk. Wow even on a thursday lunch time this place is full. Good thing I decided to contact them immediately after lunch to reserve a slot.

When i entered the shop around 730 pm, i was immediately asked if i have a reservation. After confirming the details of my reservation, we proceeded to discuss which service i'd like to avail. Originally, I was only planning to avail of a regular pedi and a jessica Phenom mani but the receptionist pep talked me to avail of their foot spa service which also includes a cleaning service. So i agreed to go and avail it since I realize its been so long since my last foot spa. The receptionist suggested that I avail of the Olive Pedi which according to her is a good one.

The Olive Oedi service was mostly scrubbing and massaging my lower leg and feet. Cel, my pedicure nail artisan, was very gentle. She started off by soaking my feet in a warm water, after soaking she rubbed my lower leg and feet with olive scrub then cleaned it up. After that she proceeded scrubbing the callus from my feet to remove it. Then after, she placed a generous amount of olive lotion on my feet (except the fingers on my feet) and individually wrapped my feet with a plastic wrapper. Then she proceeded with cleaning my toenails and dropped a slightly heated oil on each toenails. After that, she removed the plastic wraper and massaged the lotion with the oil. Then she cleaned everything up and started painting my nails with the transparent nail polish. The service cost me 540 pesos. My heels felt so soft and smooth after the service.

While for the manicure, i availed of the Jessica Phenom brand in Fountain Bleu color. Rosel, my manicure nail artisan, was gentle and she would confirm her actions to me before proceeding. The Jessica Phenom costs 350 Php. It looks like a gel and dries fast. Although, I did let it sit dry for around 10 to 15 mins before I stood up and paid my service just to be sure it's 100% dry.

My whole service was finished roughly less than an hour.

I was also able to claim today my Tropiclique Membership Card by submitting an accummulated receipt amounting to 1.2k. I also got a stamp on my Pampered Priviledge Card with today's visit.

My first time to try this nail salon. I have been checking them out for the past few years but I didn't have a reason to go visit them. Since I will be attending a wedding this weekend and my usual nail salon (which was nearer to my office) was closed for renovation, so now I have a reason to try it.

I made a reservation through their fb page, the one i talked through the fb page coordinated my reservation through their branch and their branch contacted me through text. Their fb account responds really quick.

Upon my arrival, i informed them that i made reservation and they reconfirmed the services which i wanted to avail. Then the receptionist asked me to sit. The place was full. Only the private area and 1 seat at the common area was vacant when i entered and when i left only 2 seats were not occupied.

Originally, a gel mani and a classic pedi was my requested service but the color which i peferred for the gel mani which was Chalk White was only available from their Jessica Phenom regular polish which is Phen-001 and it costs more than the classic polish. I added roughly 165 Php for the pedi upgrade. The Jessica Phenom was quick dry and was gel finished.

I was very happy with their service, the nail artisan was very respectful and kind. They would also suggest but not impose. I also liked the ambiance, it wasn't dimmed unlike other nail salons and the music was pleasing to the ears. The place and tools were also very clean.

So-so service. The back massage was good but short! Pretty pricey for their services. Chose serenity, the color of the year! 128586

Looks like I have a default nail / spa place!!!! Had a hard time finding one yun pala meron sa 4th floor.. Thanks Cette D!! Hahaha if not for your review naglakad pako ng malayo to glorietta.

Going bullets :
* the front desk lady was so kind and bubbly (plus plus plus)
* bamboos inside! And gives you a beach vibe because of their seats (see and feel for yourself)
* the playlist was very relaxing
* mehehe a 4 yr old kid was given a foot spa (whuttt)

MAIN POINT :
* my "Nail Artisan" (yes, that's how we should address them according to their name clips and I agreee) was very keen on doing my nails - no marks, no wounds, no oversnipping and ec.. I got the spa treatment by the way, and I felt like being handled with care 10084 Even the hand massage was superb! Oh and and and the back massage felt like that of a full body massage in a legit spa! (yes --- definitely not the hagod hagod lang para masabing nagmasahe)128134128134128134

My new nail hub. 128133🏼

500 for pedi, spa and massage. You can choose from a variety of spa. I always get the "butter me up". Additional 60 for the pricey nail polish like OPI and orly. 128516 Free water pa! Hehe. And they have this card where every time you visit you can have free services like hand massage even manicure if you completed a certain number of stamps.

Cozy place plus I can charge my phone. Be sure to have an appointment first. They're usually full.

Walked in and was glad they have someone available! Tried their pedicure! The technician was so good. Her hands were light and I didn't feel pain at all. The service took around 35 mins. Pretty quick. I didn't put polish anymore cause I was in a hurry. She have me a complimentary back massage as well. Yay!

I love the chairs! The wifi was a bit slow in my area.

The pedi was 215 pesos, not bad.

Hope to come back again soon

It's my Nth review for Nail Tropics and unfortunately the first time that I will be deducting a star.

I was still happy with the end result but not quite happy that the session took about 30 minutes longer because of 4 or 5 nicks on my toes that had to be redone. And since I opted for gel polish on my toes as well, the removal process was much longer. A special solution is used for soaking, then they wrap a sheet of aluminum foil around the toe for about 5 minutes before they can scrape the polish off. Then we're back to square one.

My favorite artisan TinTin who did my manicure was very precise as usual. No delays on my manicure.

The gel pedicure did by Jolly caused a little delay though. I have to deduct a star because I missed my appointment at Strip due to this. The next available slot they could give me was an hour and a half away since they were fully booked. 128549

On a positive note, it was delighting to see a |ooloo sticker on their counter now. And their |ooloo special is still active - 20% off on nail art. Unfortunately for me I don't do nail art hehe. Maybe in the summer I will reconsider.

In the photo you will see the Tropiclique membership card - you can get one for free by accumulating 1,200 worth of receipts. The card earns you points with every visit which allows you to receive free services within the year. It also entitles you to a free deal worth 500.00 on your birthday. Occasionally, they also have other perks and freebies exclusive to cardholders. 128077

Apart from that, they also have a rather primitive (but sulit) privilege stamp card. Each visit earns you one stamp. On your 5th visit, you will be entitled to free hand massage. Free foot massage on your 10th visit and free mani-pedi on your 15th visit. 128077

Sweet deals. Check em out while the
|ooloo special is still on 128516

Been to both the Serendra and Eastwood branches before.

I can honestly say that service is consistently great among all branches I have been to; this branch is no exception.

Their nail artisans are quick, efficient, and ninja- like! Ninja-like because I can't even feel they are snipping away the dry skin or pushing cuticles. They are so gentle!

Gel polish is built to last....up to 3-4 weeks, no chipping. I'll let the picture do the talking. See how my nails grew already while the polish remained intact? (top pic)

It may be 3-4 times more expensive than a regular manicure but it'll also last 3-4 weeks....without the hassle of retouching, without having to sit thru a manicure every week, without the constant use of toxic acetone, without having to worry about looking unkempt due to chips and cracks, and the best part is it doesn't cause yellowing.

It's worth it.

Needed time to kill before dinner so me & my sister decided to have our nails done. Insta-relaxation is always a ✔✔✔. Plus, i gotta savor all this "free time" while i still can!

Wanted the Butter Me Up treatment however it was not available, so i chose the Espresso Oh instead. Still equally relaxing & pleasing to the senses. I had classic manicure & pedicure and a foot spa. It was service deluxe all the way. Felt so goooood! I loved how my polish was so bride-to-be nails, even matched my rose quartz bracelet. Hihihi.128131

Nail Tropics is really consistent in delivering great service. Shout out to my favorite nail artisan Ms. Tintin! She always does my gel manicure. I'm not picky when it comes to pedicure so I just book whoever is available.

As always, the service was perfect to a tee! Check my previous Nail Tropics reviews for more details.

Gotta run! Ciao!
