they weren't paying attention, granted it was during graveyard hours, but still they should have given more attention.

the food was not cooked well. cheaply priced but not a good value for your money.

Can I just say that the reviews here we misleading? I thought the food here would be "good for the price" (note that I said good, not great) but honestly... It was just horrible. The meat made me wonder if it was honest to goodness meat or just some random form of bizarre thick cut ham thing from a grocery with odd breading, barely passable sauce and an odd smell to it. I couldn't even bring myself to finish the rice because it was smothered in that weird sauce. It was just terrible for me.

It was in a food court/open-air set up so here come the flies. I don't mind that, though some might.

The service? Ugh. They can take your order, cook but they're absent-minded even with few people ordering at a time (1-2 people every now and then). I ordered a katsudon and a red tea (way too sweet btw). When my number was called, I was given my katsudon... I went to eat... Then they just really forgot about my drink. Really? I had to walk back up to them and ask for it. At first when I mentioned it, she didn't know what I was talking about. When I repeated myself, took the cashier a while to process what I said before she just filled the cup and gave me the drink.

Honestly. For a meal priced around a single patty burger steak meal, I expected that quality. I've been to my fair share of turo turo too and it beats this by a long shot.

Totally not a Japanese craving fix.

Never coming back.

Not falling for reviews anymore and I will judge a place by how it looks. Lesson learned.

Are you craving for Japanese food at an affordable price around McKinley? Then this might satisfy you craving!

We just love their California Maki, Tonkatsu and Chili Chicken! For extra rice lovers like me, this is what you call "sulit" haha. It feels like I'm in college again every time we buy here. But the downside is their service - it might take you 5 to 20 minutes of waiting time to have your order.
