Naked Island is a long strip of island in Siargao, bare, saved for some vegetation and steel frames of what seemed to be an old gazebo. Because there’s virtually no place of shelter, it’s the perfect place to work on your tan.
Unfortunately for me, it had started to rain when we reached the island. I saw a few tourists leaving while some who seemed to be unfazed by the rain stayed.
I was on a solo island hopping trip (as in I got the boat to myself), I had no one to wait for and I didn’t feel like swimming just yet so I only took a few photos. I think my boatmen and I were there not more than 20 minutes.
Nevertheless, the island is beautiful and quiet. I think I made the right decision visiting in the off season.

One of the stop in our island hopping in Siargao. Naked Island! This island is literally naked. No traces of tree, so be prepared to soaked under the sun. A great place to have your skin tanned. I love the pure white sand bar of this island with crystal clear water. This place will remind you of camiguin white island. Just a smaller version of it. Naked Island is just around 200 meter stretch. Our bangkero also told us some story about foreigner usually when alone in this island ask them to take some naked
pic. They take the naked in the name too literally haha.
One of the memorable thing that happened in our adventure happened on this island. While having our photo ops in the island. We heard some people shouting that we can't understand. At first we didn't mind them and just continued with our thing. But after awhile the shouting still continue and our group started to zoom our camera on the people shouting in the water. That's the time when we realized that they've got their boat capsized and they were shouting for HELP. We immediately panic
and called out our bangkero to rescue them. Luckily our bangkero were able to saved this couple and their boatman. We learned that they got a cheaper price for the smallboat but when they were about to leave Naked Island after some subtle movement by the big guy the whole boat capsized. Lucky our group were able to notice them. Moral lesson make sure that you take a reliable size boat
for your group.
Overall I love this beautiful island even with that traumatic experience.

It was named Naked Island because it was bare with only 2 benches in the middle of the island. It was surprisingly beautiful to view the different islands surrounding it.

As the name implies, the island is naked of any vegetation. There is nothing here to shield you against the sun so make sure to slather on the sun block and bring your own shelter. The water surrounding the island is clear and great for snorkeling and swimming. Nature st it's basest form.

Naked Island because as the name implies, it doesnt have any establishment, any structure, nor a single tree in this island. It is more than just a sandbar since it doesnt get submergef completely and disappear during high tide.
Beautiful! ♥️

I love to be naked! Ooopss! Not here. You don't need to undress yourself just to fit in to the name of the place. So, why naked? It is because there is nothing here but purely white sand in the middle of the sea with great view of neighboring islands. It is a 200 meter long sand bank sorrounded by crystal clear torquise waters and white sand as fine as pulvoron. So, when you heard about Siargao.. don't just say it is home of powerful waves ideal for just professional surfers because island hopping is also one of the main activities that most tourists do when they're here.
