Nami Resort/Restaurant is located on a cliff in Diniwid Cove, Balabag, Boracay Island. Dining here will give you a stunning view of Boracay Island.

You could ride a tricycle for 150php/4pax to get to Nami Resort or by walking along station 1 until the end and a cliff will lead you to Diniwid Beach. A free shuttle service is also available for pick up and drop off for the guests staying in.

As mention on my separate review for Nami Resort, going up was an experience. After walking a few steps, there's a lobby where the bamboo lift was located. You need to press a buzzer for someone to go down and will assist you going up to the main lobby.

We stayed here overnight and had our lunch the next day before checking out. The overlooking view was stunning. Seeing the blue and green sea was calming. We ordered the ff.

Nami Salpicao. Tenderloin cubes, roasted garlic with garlic rice.

- I'm choosing between Salpicao and Baby Back Ribs but the waiter recommended this dish. The meat was tender and the potato chips on top were good too. A slice of apple on the sides too.

Honey Bourbon Chicken. Served with breaded eggplant, chili turmeric cream and steamed rice.

- My friend loved it. The sauce was prefect. Unlike the regular curry, this one wasn't empowering.

Grilled Liempo. ( I forgot the name )

- Served with three large cut of liempo cooked to perfection. It's tender and all of us loved the soy sauce + calamansi it came with. My friend even had an extra rice. 128566

Breaded Dijon Porkchop. With fried potato wedges and mustard barbeque sauce.

- My friend liked it so much. Just like the other we ordered. The pork was tender and juicy.

A meal without dessert is not complete. We had their Chocolate Cake.

- It looks good but sad to say the cake was dry and it has the floury feel. I think the cake was on the fridge for a long time. The outer chocolate layer was good tho, it's soft and rich.

No wonder they got the award from Philippine Tatler for Best Restaurant this year.

Overall the dining experience was great. Definitely would go back here and won't mind walking under the sun from White Beach Boracay.

I'm still giving it a 5 star despite the Dry Chocolate Cake. 128517

walked some 30 minutes under a scorching 3pm sum, then through thick green seaweed? filled water, then through the edge of a rock. then to another beach. and when we got there we had to find the way in, (there's the bamboo elevator for that)

when we finally got there, the champagne brunch was no longer available. we had to settle for some liempo, very generous serving btw, good for two.

was it worth it? i think so. but would have been better with the champagne brunch.

the woods are lovely, dark and deep
but i have promises to keep

We tried nami restaurant because of reviews from looloo. we had a pleasant sunset dinner after a quick dip in diniwind beach. We ordered the cirspy noodles and some drinks for an afternoon snack. then ordered honey bourbon chicken and nami salipcao for dinner. Chicken was good and im giving it 5 stars. The nami salpicao was a bit tough so im giving that 4stars. And btw, we asked for the service bread as mentioned in another review. This bread really is bread pan and mayonaise. Hahaha. Good food and service. Worth trying out.

My favorite place in Boracay to have breakfast. Ordered their Filipino Breakfast which has Tocino, Egg, Atchara and Garlic Rice. They also offer a few slices of fruits before they serve the main plate. The tocino was good and great with Atchara. The fruits were also fresh.

Food is not the only reason I go here but also to enjoy the view. It's the best place to also watch Boracay sunset while having dinner.

Our favorite place to hangout and enjoy the spectacular view in Boracay. The food is excellent - Tatler awarded Best Restaurant 2013. The service is world class with very friendly staff. This is a must visit if you like to escape from the Boracay crowd. Don't miss their honey chicken bourbon, seafood quesadillas and some frozen ice tea. Love love foodie love from Kapitolyo natives.

Awarded as Tatler's Best Restaurant in the Philippines for 2012. Wanna know why?

Since I've been to Boracay a couple of times now (3x with the Boyfriend) I researched, yeah like I always do, on the places we should visit and restaurants we should try. So there's Diniwid, the more private, quiet and less commercialized beach side of Boracay. It's about a 10-15 minute walk from end of Station 1. So if you're coming from Station 3, you may just ride the tricycle to Diniwid Beach OR just walk... Don't worry it's going to be worth it.

After feeling the Diniwid beach beach, we decided to try Nami for our sunset bonding. This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend who recently went to Boracay as well. Nami's picturesque view is one of the highlights of your Diniwid trip. So as we entered Nami Resort, we saw the sign about Tatler's award. Yes, they have bragging rights.

We couldn't find the restaurant until we saw a girl from Nami and she pointed us the way. We went up to this veranda-ish and saw the doorbell sign for the elevator. To go to the restaurant we have to ride this elevator that's made of wood, with loud noise (which they made in purpose for heart exercise) and really unconventional. Maximum of 4 people can ride the elevator, including the Nami guy.

We were luckily seated where we could see the view from the restaurant. What a beautiful sight! The downside though is that we can't view the sunset from there. But still, we couldn't care anymore. So we placed our orders: mine was Shallow Fried Cream Dory and K got the Beef Salpicao, as suggested by the waiter. While waiting for our food they gave us appetizers which I'm sure is Bread Pan but with their own spread. I wasn't able to ask about the spread but boy it was so good! So our food came after 15 minutes or so. We didn't waste any of our time and started munching on our much awaited food.

I loved my food! The fish was cooked so well and the good thing about my order is that it comes with crispy noodles (which is one of my favorites too). K said that his beef Salpicao was so tender and juicy... Parang Hotdog lang! Hihi kid! This restaurant was a bit pricey compared to other restaurants we've tried in Boracay, we spent around Php1,200 for those 2 orders plus Iced Tea. Well, sulit for the experience!

The food, view, staff that are so accommodating... They really deserve the Tatler award! Congratulations to Nami's management and staff! 9786
