Small place inside Manila polo serving very authentic Japanese dishes at a reasonable price & coupled with great service ... Is absolutely a superb place to dine with family & friends... Book for reservation .. Coz this place packs up really quick ... Uni here is really to die for 12851412807710084128525... Hamachi jaw , crispy skinned chicken teriyaki , sashimi ,then sushi & maki are more typical ... Love the cold soba as well & kani salad

This is my second review of Nanten on Looloo. They didn't have hamachi but they had Toro sashimi (the real stuff imported from Japan!) Kuretake has Otoro and Chutoro on their menu but they have never served me the real McCoy. It was almost pinkish like salmon but it definitely was tuna. It literally slipped around in my mouth due to the fatty oil and I chewed on it a little bit to savor the delicious taste. Super sarap! The rest of the menu was the usual stuff: ebi tempura, sukiyaki. Good! Nanten is definitely one of the best Japanese restaurants this side of town.

At its old location overlooking the polo field, NanTen was a soso Japanese restaurant. But ever since it moved to the old driver's area in the main parking lot, it has bloomed! Maybe, the ambience has something to do with it. But success has meant a full packed standing room only place. They should have taken over the hut used by the Last Chukker. That would have given them the room they need to accommodate the clientele that they've developed. It's good authentic Japanese food, although don't be fooled. It may be inside the Polo Club, but it isn't subsidized so the prices are not very far from Inagiku.

Very good Japanese sushi here but you have to reserve a table. The place is very small.

Got to try some items from their new menu. Some good stuff.. Was just what the doctor ordered after a long day. Salmon sashimi was extremely fresh today too. Plus can't ever go wrong with japanese curry. Yea we pigged out.

Their fried oysters are delish! Had the mixed sushi bento that had a few pieces of tuna, uni & salmon sashimi, 8 california maki, kani salad & miso soup. There was a lot of appetizers like fried oysters, seared tuna, soft shelled crab sushi. Had a lot of appetizers that I wasn't able to finish my meal. So much for dieting hahaha

Wasn't able to distinguish the soft shelled crab because it looked like that they mashed it, mixed it & put it on top. Kinda not the usual way to serve it. The salmon sashimi had 1 piece of fish bone-at least I know it's fresh haha.

Sugi still is tops for me hehe.
