Avoid the Mayo Prawn Balls appetizer. Ridiculously priced for a salad. Mee Goreng is a safe order; the spicier the better. Generally I'd say this place is too pricey - ordered an appetizer and a main with a drink and nearly hit Php 800. 128078

Love their food!!! You can really taste the Asian herbs. The ginger tea was a blast! And it's refillable. 128513

So glad a friend and I decided to check this place out. We got the Malaysian chicken curry paired with their nasi lemak rice. We also tried their salt and pepper squid. It was such a delightful meal! My tastebuds were rejoicing with the wonderful symphony of balanced subtle flavors! The chicken curry was tender with a hint of sweetness, mild chili flavor and the taste of slightly toasted coconut (cream). The squid was cooked to perfection with great flavor. Service was also great. Their serving size was appropriate for their price. Can't wait to eat here again to try out other items on the menu. Definitely a winner!

Nasi Goreng is just like a special Sinangag but with dilis mixed together with the fried rice.
An order of Nasi Goreng includes 2 sticks of juicy and moist satay with a perfect mild spicy dipping sauce on the side.
Oden oden for dessert, is a Singaporian/Malaysian version of our very own pichi-pichi but with panutcha like filling inside and is best eaten while warm.
Overall it was OK and will definitely go back to try their other bestseller especially their Laksa.

We were skeptical at first, but this is beyond our expectation: Bali fried rice was tasty and not oily, beef Rendang is tender, not too spicy and taste really authentic just what i had in Kuala lumpur. The Teh Tarik is really good here 128077

Price range is between 200-500. Not bad at all since their order are good for sharing. I think they will be seeing us often because there are so many more dishes to try.

I will never go back to this so called Singaporean food place. Here are my reasons:

1. The food is not appetizing. Fresh is not in their dictionary. The Xiao long bao is soggy, the bah kuh teh smells, looks and tastes like it's been a long time since someone ordered it, the meat is almost bone dry. The ice kachang is haphazardly done... And so on and so forth

2. Filthy flooring. Needs refurbishing and continuos cleaning.

3. Pricey, i can't believe i paid 1,600 php for that.

4. Singaporean cuisine? By name maybe but taste? I beg to disagree.

Why did I expect so much? because they said it's authentic.. 128548

I tried their Beef Rendang, Hainanese Chicken and Nasi Lemak. Their Beef Rendang was okay. It's alsonthe first time that I didn't finish the Hainanese Chicken.. Their Nasi Lemak was bland..

We were at Robinson's today to do some errands for our new home and we didn't realize that it was already 830pm. We were starving, but couldn't decide where to eat because today is Friday (fasting - no meat).

I then remembered the last time we ate at this resto wanting to try their fish head curry. We were hesitant to order it because it was priced at around 500 bucks. We had a conversation and agreed after realizing that it doesn't matter if we wont get full since we should fast.

To our surprise the serving was huge and we even managed to bring the leftovers home. Id rate it 5/5. It changed my idea that only beef and chicken are served as curries. Will surely go back and order this again.

To be honest I never had Laksa before, so I decided to try Nasi Lemak's Laksa since it's one of their best seller. And I was disappointed, do they really use spaghetti noodles for laksa? It was al dente naman but really spaghetti? And the broth/soup was just spicy and lacks seasoning. I was sooo disappointed, it felt like I was eating spaghetti with a bowlful of blandness. I remember I took photo of it but now it's gone, I think even my phone hates it! Lol

Try the salt and pepper squid... Crispy on the outside, soft and tasty inside.

Fried baby squid is also great while the
Roti Prata brings me back to the hawker's in Singapore.

Visited it one afternoon (during their "promo hours" and ate this nice sweet & sour bowl meal for only less than P140. Food is ok, but I really liked the soup. Try visiting this place during one of their "promo" hours for a nice budget meal treat.

My first time here and I was quite overwhelmed with the number of items on their menu. I wanted to try everything. But since I have a weakness for spicy laksa, that's what I ordered. The shrimp laksa I ordered seemed to lack something. It needed that extra push, that extra flavor or spice.

My roti was ok but I was looking for that extra fluffiness like what Banana leaf has. But still, it tasted great.

I would still go back and try the other dishes. There's so many other good dishes to try in this place!

There are a few Singaporean restaurants in the Metro. This one is definitely worth a visit!

Hainanese Chicken (P400+) Spicy Beef, and Flat Noodles are all very flavorful and delicious! Their food have this "authentic" and "clean" taste to it. They also don't use MSG! Which is a good thing. 9786

The 4 of us end up having a bill of P1,400 with 3 dishes. A bit steep for 3 dishes but its all worth it. 128540

2nd time to visit Nasi Lemak after watching a movie at Robinsons.

The Food:
For something Singaporean, Nasi Lemak is the place to be. I ordered Laksa, Hainanese chicken, sizzling beef satay and roti prata. None of these dishes failed us, in fact, it satisfied us.
Their laksa leans more on the creamy side with a little spice. My sister who avoids spicy dishes didnt bother to finish her share of laksa.
For their roti prata and hainanese chicken, i like how generous they are with their sauces.
My favorite is their Sizzling beef satay. Used its sauce together with hainanese rice and it's very tasty!

The selections at Nasi Lemak are enough for al my Singaporean favorites.

You better try Nasi Lemak!:)

Pray, Eat and Love.

Cheers,
The Food Scout
