It was only late last year did we try Nathaniel's in Molito, Alabang. We've been passing by this restaurant but it did not really appeal to us. Until on morning (shall i say) we saw the original branch featured in KrisTV! Kris has this certain pull when it comes to enticing her viewers to try up and coming and established restaurants.

So one early morning we went and tried Nathaniel's. We ordered their specialties and we liked it. The price was moderate and the serving... just right. I really like their lasagna. It has this cheesy toasty crust before the bechamel sauce. The meat was generous and the pasta was cooked just right. The pansit palabok can use a bit more toppings but the sauce is enough to coat two heafty servings.

To go: One must try their puto pao and buko pandan salad and drink. Senior cards honored.

Enjoyed all our orders. Wish they serve the buko pandan salad less frozen next time. 128517

I first tried Nathaniel's when I went on a business trip to Pampanga and I immediately fell in love with their siomai, buko pandan juice and the creamy buko pandan dessert. I tried their cooked meals and loved them as well. Happy they got a location closer to where I live.

Been eyeing on nathaniel's restau for a long time and it's exactly what I expected - traditional and home cooked style filipino food. They certainly know how to refresh regular "canteenish" food and flavors back to my palette! I actually missed my grandma after this, it's like one of those places she'll enjoy and take us to when we were kids 128522. What surprised me though was the custard cake. I think that'll be a fave from now on. Loved the flan and the cake itself, soft with a but if denseness to it. As for the dishes, everything was good for the price, I mean 80php for kaldereta? That's more than good enough! The dinuguan was good too, it's the slightly vinegary and watery kind sauce. The adobo though is really pale and sad. Most of the dishes were slightly salty but you know well enough how good that pairs with white rice, right!? Haha 128586. We tried their egg pie too and it's ok, I liked goldilocks better hehe. Enjoyed our meal and it makes me feel good to dine this simple from time to time, less guilt on the belly 128522

I've been wanting to try this place ever since I saw it featured on TV.

Yes, it's not a fancy restaurant but I do think that they serve good food.

In this visit, I was able to try ther beef mami and buko pandan. Beef mami was tasty. I actually think it's better than Chowking's. It won't really wow you but for the price, I think it's sulit. 128516

The buko pandan was good as well. Not too sweet but savory. Just right for me.

I also ordered siomai for take out. It's ready to eat. Just need to steam it if you want to eat it hot. It's actually good. I didn't really have any expectations on it though. I didn't like the sauce though. I think it's kinda bland. It's not like your usual siomai sauce.

I'll surely try their other dishes on my next visit. 128522

It was hubby's idea to dine here after his gym session. I was on early shift and already had pika-pika in the office so I just took their baked macaroni and buko pandan juice.

Their baked macaroni was actually good. Macaroni with melted cheesy goodness and very meaty on the inside. I suggest you consume it immediately, while it is hot.

Their buko pandan juice, as always, was served chilled. Very refreshing and you can see real buko.

If you're not a health-conscious person, try their spicy chicharon. Sooo good and putok batok! 128523128523128523

First times are always the best ones! Much like a love story, my first try of Nathaniel's Pork and Chicken puto pao is simply love at first bite! Never nakakaumay, generously filled with freshly cooked pork asado or chicken. Absolutely...gooood! Add up Nathaniel's buko pandan juice and you're good to go!

Nathaniel's buko pandan is my sister's default dessert whenever we have dinner at her house. She must have been serving this for the past 5 or 6 years? I wonder why I'm just writing a review now. Thanks for Clarissa P's review that I got reminded to write one :)

The buko pandan is a simple frozen dessert made with milk, coconut and pandan flavored gelatin. I am not big on desserts, I can skip it and go straight to coffee or tea but this is like ice cream, and ice cream,- I love! It's amazing how the few ingredients worked wonderfully and made such big flavour. Their fruit salad is also yummy!

Nathaniel's is famous for their Buko Pandan. For me, it's one of the best in the market. So when we got the chance to go to Molito, I just had to drop by their store and get a tub.

Their Buko Pandan Salad is nothing like the ones we're used to. You won't get an all purpose cream and condensed milk mixture. Their's is light and a little frothy, more like the cream was whipped. Or could also be described as lighter than an ice cream consistency. So if it's not chilled, then, it'll get a little watery. But that's not really a big deal because I like it either way. Also, you'll get a decent serving of coconut meat that's soft but not soggy and lots of Pandan flovored jellies that are firm. Love the bright color of green on a bed of white cream and best of all - it's not too sweet at all!

It's my first time eating here at nathaniel's, heard a lot of good things about it so my friends and I gave it a try. The place was good and the food is just delicious I tried the roast beef, puto pao and the buko pandan juice which is said to be one of the best sellers. Will definitely come back! 128536128536
