My sister wanted to try their lasagna so we ate dinner at Nathaniel's Timog tonight. We ordered Bangus sisig, siomai, pork barbecue, pansit bihon, pork puto pao and Lasagna.

The bangus sisig is bland and adding soy sauce doesn't help. Siomai is so so. As for the pork barbecue, servings are big (5 meaty sticks for Php 200). Pansit bihon is also very bland. The puto pao is great! It has a slice of salted egg on top 128525. Their lasagna is really good and we enjoyed eating it. Definitely a must try :)

Accounting department's lunch out, my treat! :p I ordered sizzling porkchop steak. I found nothing special about it. I liked the gravy, it really complimented the tender meat. For dessert we had the frozen, super yummy, creamy and tasty buko pandan. Perfect for summer. It's really smooth and like an ice cream with buko and gelatin bites. No wonder it's really famous.

Downsides: service was not really fast, the space is also a minor problem.

Aside from Buko Pandan, I've never really had anything else from Nathaniel's. But I'm guessing the other items are just as good.

We actually went here for my all-time favorite buko pandan salad 128077128077128077128077128077 However it was 5 pm that time so we also had our merienda there. We ordered 3 kinds of pancit for merienda :)) Pancit palabok which was okay, sotanghon guisado which my mom didn't like so much and pancit canton which was good "daw" (I didn't try it). Plus we also had dinuguan which I liked 128077128077128077128077 I suggest, don't try their pancit. Haha. Four stars for the love for buko pandan.

My boyfriend and I were walking around the area to look for a coffee shop where we can "tambay" and charge our phone instead we saw nathaniels and decided why not give it a try. The menu is simple and it has pictures beside the name of the dish so you can easily select what you want to try if its your first time. I ordered beef wanton noodles (95php) and boyfriend ordered burger steak (110php). Beef wanton was ok. Burger steak was so yummy. You know the feeling when you ask for a bite and you want to eat it all but its not yours? Thats how I felt. Theres a bit of regret of why did I not order it too for myself because i had been eyeing on it when the waiter gave me the menu. Next time tho. :)))

Don't let their no-frills interiors fool you, aside from their standout Buko pandan dessert (which you can order a solo size if your dining in) this branch let's you enjoy more of their food selection whether for merienda, lunch or dinner (although they close earlier than most Restos in the area!) I love their siomai and baked macaroni.

The best Buko Pandan Salad in the country! That's my opinion of course. :) It has a unique taste and creamy flavor that no other restaurant in the country could match it's taste. I usually buy this as pasalubong for my Mom whenever I visit her.
The resto in Timog is very spacious and caters to many customers, but I have never tried to eat there yet. I only drop by to buy that special Buko Pandan Salad. :)

What makes this buco pandan special is the milk. Purely divine creaminess. It uses carabao milk instead of condense milk or evaporated milk that others use. A bit hard to find in Metro Manila, though. You have to go to Timog, QC to get one. Main branch is in Pampanga. Some groceries now have Nathaniel's in their freezers. Also, you need not worry about buying it melting because it will be given to you super frozen. Must try! I was referred by Kuya J to join the #loolooiPhone6giveaway!

Sweet sissy sent me the only dessert I can't resist ... But one spoonful is enough for me... Sinful delight that I can't afford too much for now .. Starting to cough & each cough makes me relive the pain of the surgery all over again 128561

Hv deep breathing exercise to avoid pneumonia for staying in bed too long.... I got myself a substitute leg today ... New mode of mobility ... Now I hv 5 legs ... Hehe... Will be tricky going around soon 9786️... But I adapt fast... Wish me luck 128522

brought the bf here since we haven't tasted nathaniel's buko pandan. the timog branch is currently under renovation and there are only four tables functional. we had to wait for 15 min to get a table for 2 this afternoon. our order was brought within 5 min, yey for that. the servers were courteous and fast. the palabok was a bit salty for me, but it was good for the boyfriend. the dinuguan was right but could use a bit more vinegar, imo. the lumpiang sariwa was just right. ingredients were fresh. the buco pandan wad good! well that's coming from the boyfriend since he ate almost all of it. haha. the price was cheap and the servings were enough. will come back with our mom's soon. i noticed that the customers were mostly mom's and old people. 128076128076128077128077

One of the best buko pandan I've tasted (although I've to swear my ex-officemate's version is close enough). We came from Pampanga but couldn't find a Nathaniel's Bakeshop branch so we went to Timog, which was on the way.

We wanted to get a quick dessert but they're ongoing renovation so everything's for pick-up only. Got the half gallon tub which costs P260 128561 Mahal! Perhaps the price is also driven by the resealable plastic tub -- perfect container for leftover ulam. Hahaha dual purpose! Lols.
