Their outdoor ambiance is nice but their service is a little bit poor. To think that the place is not that jampacked. 128530

Macho mug is a must here haha! Their bangus sisig is okay though.

It's got a cool vibe, super reasonable good food and yummy cocktails to boot for this not so very alcoholic girl who doesn't drink beer.
My favorite was the mocha girl tumbler that comes in a giant ketchup bottle for sharing.

The interiors have a lot of Pinoy pop icon references and I liked the fact that it was an old house that was converted into a bar. It feels homey.

Prices range between 120 to 220 php only. And beer is only P45! It's a great spot to get together with the gang!

This is where our next favorite tambayan so far... The Nation...128525128525128525128525 If I heard it correctly it's the sister bar of Quattro..127866127867127866 What makes it our favorite? The beer bucket is cheap! I don't drink but my friends loves to... As if I have a choice!128540128540128099128099128099128101128101128101For 190- 240 you have 5/6 bottles of your choice of beer! It's the cheaper version of Tides... Spaces are good! Food is ok...128077128077 The bands performs here except Saturdays and they are good too!128525128525 Saturdays are DJ days...:)

They offer special bibingka like the one in Quattro but for some reason whenever I order it, they don't have it..128078128078 Maybe they should remove it from their Menu..128540128540128540

Been frequenting this place with friends lately because of their very inviting happy hour promo (25/bottle from 5:30-8pm). My friends, on the other hand, have been raving about their cocktails which come in tumblers (those 1 liter ketchup bottles with drinks in it) and mason jars.

Ambiance of the place is quite chill and steady. It looks like an old house converted to a bar - very homey and cozy. It just gets quite loud whenever there are bands playing but no biggie, selection of songs are nice also.

Food is good and relatively cheap. We always get their crispy kangkong and mangga't bagoong. Titles of their food were creatively thought about. Though full of innuendos, still very creative.

Will definitely be back for happy hour. Hihi

Salted Garlic Squid and Liempo bits are their best-sellers. Local beers are on promo at 25/bottle!

Nice place. Very laid back and spacious. A couple of notches above your typical Central or Tides bar.

The pulutan was yummy, and we especially loved the baked fish and liempo bits!

We'll be back again when we're in the area. :)

Returned to Nation Bar & Grill where my buddy had his birthday celebration. So free booze and free food!

Since this is my 2nd time to go here, I was able to sit inside a different section of the converted house. I love the interiors. Filipino icons whose images were stylized (dont know what to call it) and adorn the walls).

This time since (contrary to the signage out front) it's not soft launch, I'll be assessing it differently.

Place was packed! Price of beer and alcohol are unbelievably affordable. Great place to hang out.

Food:
Among their best sellers is salted garlic squid. Mala North Park. Not bad. Oily though.

Liempo bits - a Quattro trademark (same owners), this is crunchy deep fried liempo bits. This time still very good and crunchy but a lot of fat. 128076128076

Baked fish - the best! 128076128076128076

Chips - baked or lightly fried, very good!

Sisig - it was okay.

Service was good too. First batch of food was a bit slow but the following orders were pretty fast. Pretty good bar in the QC Area. About a block away from Pepetons.

I tried it when it was in soft launch phase so wala pang full market, but only friends of the owners and walk ins.

The owners are the same owners of Quattro, Timog's very popular resto / grill / bar known for their macho mug (1L!).

This one feels a little different. Very breezy (granted that was Dec which was chilly), good balance lighting. Interiors very inviting (okay, I may be biased cause it's designed by my friend but it really is cool). One of those converted houses. It may not be easily found (for walk ins) like Quattro on Timog but then again it has the potential to do very very well.

They have these mixed drinks for those who want to go more than the usual. One tasted like it had Baileys or Kahlua in it and it was very good. The other was fruity with juice. Sorry forgot their names but ask the wait staff for those mixes. Very delish and good for the barkada.

They have creative names (they even asked us for suggestions but my creative juices weren't working that evening). Very very nice bar and they've even got great food. Had the pork sisig, liempo, and I forgot the rest basta pulutan. Oh wait, yeah the nachos.

Anyway go check it out if you wanna go drinking in the Scout/Morato/Timog area.

I'll definitely be back! My kabarkada enjoyed it that he took his colleagues there for their department Christmas party!128515 oh and prices are reasonable for the ambiance. Same level as Quattro and the nearby bars.

How good was this place? My wife who doesn't like to go drinking said she wants to come back. Heck we even got to take our Shih Tzu there!128077128518128076
