Namit gid, indeed! 128076🏻 Must-try in Iloilo!!!

110881108811088️ The Place - Typical fast-food ambiance. We went there around 11am, and though the place has AC, it was a bit warm inside. Plus since the store is all glass, the sunlight was a bit bothersome from the inside. I wonder if they have roller blinds or something to address that 127774

110881108811088️ The Staff - They were attentive!

1108811088110881108811088️ The Food - I only got to try their famous La Paz Batchoy (Special) and I loved it! I added more roasted garlic & chicharon, ay namit for the win!! 128076🏻 We also had their puto that you eat along with the Batchoy (I found it weird at first coz I only eat puto with dinuguan128514), but yes, it was good!!

I only had bottled water since there aren't any local or special drinks to try!

Good thing this branch was beside Seda Hotel where I was checked-in so I got to try their famous La Paz Batchoy for my late dinner. Sad that the white puto was already sold out. It wouldn't completed the whole meal.

Anyway, I got the special batchoy - the main difference from the regular one are the pieces of beef on top. The soup was so tasty, unlike any other. Portion of noodles and the other ingredients was just right. Definitely perfect as it was raining outside. 128076🏼

Best batchoy in town. I didn''t mind the summer feels when I had this bowl of goodness.

Sorry but I'm not a fan of batchoy. I used to think I was... For me, it wasn't memorable, but of course as a specialty of the place it's worth a try. I really liked the thick and soft puto tho. 128523

Originally, we were going to try the original branch in the market, but our friend said it's the same thing, just with aircon. And that day was super hot so we decided not to head for the market anymore. Perhaps next time it will be a different experience in the market. 128522

What makes Batchoy special? It consists of Meke Noodles, Bone Marrow, Beef, Pork, Liver, Entrails, Garlic, Onion and Crunchy Chicharon. 128055128046127858127830

In Iloilo you should not forget to drop by and eat in one of the oldest and famous restaurant. Iloilo's pride Netong's Original Special La Paz Batchoy serves authentic La Paz Batchoy. 128525

I ate at this place last December 6, 2015 with three colleagues who were also in Iloilo for a business trip.

All I can say is that I loved their La Paz Batchoy with Fresh Egg; it was rich and flavorful. We even got extra broth. The puto we ordered was soft and fluffy; a good match to the batchoy.

Food was served fast and hot. Service was excellent. Staff were warm and courteous. Only minus point was that the place didn't have blinds to shield customers from the afternoon heat. I hope this has been improved.

Since I went to our province (Iloilo) last holiday vacation, I took the chance to taste the best food there. And one of the best dishes you could find there in Iloilo is Batchoy which is the specialty of Netong's.

Its original branch is located in La Paz that could be found inside of the public market(that I also visited a day before).

But let's talk about their branch in Atria. The place is big enough and their service is sweet (a trademark of being an Ilonggo).

Now for their Batchoy, a soup(beef broth) with miki bihon and topped with beef, pork, liver and intestines; the taste is too salty for me(same taste with their branch in La Paz). At first I thought that I was just not used to the salty taste(since I've been avoiding salty foods lately) but my family's reaction is the same with mine. Good thing I've got puto on the side to balance the taste. But I think, I'll stick with the first Batchoy that I've tasted (I won't mention the name. 128514 ). The price is worth less than P100 for a bowl, very cheap I must say.

Will I visit the place again?
