I bought a promo deal from one of the websites thats sells coupons at a discount and i think at 50% off it was a good deal and good deal it was. We went here immediately after our dinner and i quickly realized how underrated this ice cream shop is. I remember a large number of this shop at sydney and how delicious each flavor was. So here we are, at their branch at glorietta 2 and as compare to other gelato or ice cream place, this was just a simple stall in the middle of the walkway, i tried many flavors for which i cant remember but in the end i went for the kiwi and hokey pokey. Im a fan of kiwi and i really like their take on kiwi ice cream, just enough sourness and sweet for this one, really was one of their bestsellers even though they dont say that it was. real chunk of kiwi on this one and as a product of new zealand, their kiwi is a must.
So one might be curious what hokey pokey is, upon digging at the web, Hokey pokey is a flavour of ice cream in New Zealand, consisting of plain vanilla ice cream with small, solid lumps of honeycomb toffee. Hokey pokey is the New Zealand term for honeycomb toffee. I read countless reviews that this is a must and so i ordered it but it was a little bit too sweet for me.

Overall they serve good ice cream at a good price and ample amount of serving that would make your visit here a good one. By the way, their mint chocolate ice cream was also good. Be sure to try it out and also their milkshake made straight from ice cream. :)

This will the best place to be when you crave for Ice cream but you don't want it too sweet. My friends and I are head over heels smitten with their Caramel chocolate crunch and affogato. We also love their hokey pokey and english toffee.

If vanilla,   honeycomb and toffee decided to engage in ménage à trois, their love child is Hokey Pokey.   The latter is an ice cream flavour popular in Kiwi Land.  It is made of plain vanilla ice cream with small, solid lumps of honeycomb toffee.

Did you know that Hokey Pokey was a slang term for ice cream?  This was during19th and early 20th centuries in several areas — including New York and parts of Great Britain.  The term refers to ice cream sold by street vendors, or "hokey-pokey" men.

I am such a sucker for vanilla ice cream,  New Zealand Natural is one of my favorite brands.  I stumbled upon them via a thingy held a Glorietta,  the event is focused on international brands and NZN is one of the participants.  The chick recommended Hokey Pokey which is one of their bestsellers.  I find the name funny,  i immediately associated it with Hocus Pocus and Mumbo Jumbo, me and my weird word association games. Albeit the odd sounding name,  the ice cream is weally good.  Vanilla and honeycomb is a match made in heaven.  The latter makes the former standout.  Perfect harmony of creamy and sweet,  a symphony of flavours.

Caramel Chocolate Crunch. One of their bestsellers daw. 128077🏻128077🏻 loved it because it's cheap at 75php for the small scoop and it was also of good quality. The creamy just right sweetness with the chunks of the chocolate and/or caramel crunch that compliments the overall taste. Really creamy and yummy 128077🏻 one of my favorite ice cream shops. i would choose this over the expensive gelato places. 128521

J brought me here for our dessert! Got the flavor Rainbow. A large scoop costs P95. Price-wise, I think the size is too small for the price. As for quality, it's pretty good! The ice cream was smooth and the flavor was super yummy! I like this better than the ones from Baskin-Robbins.

Just to beat the afternoon heat, we went to New Zealand Naturals located at the g/f of Glorietta 2 in Makati. I ordered chocolate hokey pokey (honeycomb) and I cant get enough of it. Highly recommended flavor. They also got a store in Sm Megamall, Sm Fairview and Robinson's Ermita 128525

New discovery! Is this the same ice cream brand found in Rustan's? I ordered Chocolate Ecstasy & Mocha Almond Fudge. I liked the chocolate flavor more, that's their bestseller.

But overall, it was a decent ice cream with a decent serving size for the price. The downside in this branch is that their AC system couldn't sustain the cold temperature against the steam coming out of their Ice cream glass case freezers.

So you have to buy and make a run for it or your ice cream will melt. It doesn't help that the store is facing outside with their only entry way facing SM.

If you ask me to choose though, even though this is cheaper, I still like Gelatissimo more.

I thought New Zealand Natural is a typical ice cream bar. But once you've tastes it, you will know the difference, it is creamy and flavorful.

Gooey chocolate topping covers a layer of creamy walnut butterscotch ice cream on a base of crushed oreo crust. Ok, this has just made it to THE list, the one I mentally tick off when trying to shake off a bad mood. This was the perfect way to end a very hectic last working day of 2013.
