What I find nice about this place is it serves Filipino comfort food. The kind of food that a relative cooks really well and you always enjoy having.

That's sinigang na hipon pictured. We've eaten here thrice but I've forgotten the other dishes we ate! Sorry! But I do remember the impression the food left me with.

The taste is how Filipino food should taste. Done right and served the way you want it.

The servings (if you consider the price) are quite small. For sharing but not for those with big appetites. And this is Filipino food we are talking about. Normally, these dishes are eaten with loads of rice.

Service was good and the place was well-lit and clean.

If I crave for Filipino faves though, this is a resto I would go to (mostly because it's so near our house too).

Love this place, It's near from where I live. Quality food with affordable price. In their menu it says good for 2-3 persons but I would say good for 4-5 persons. :)
Tried their Sinuglaw, Deep Fried Baby Squids, Beef Kare-Kare, Chopsuey, and chocolate dome cake.

The one on the pic is their bulalo. Really like the bulalo that you cook at home. Rich taste, ndi tipid sa laman, and of course with the bone marrow. They say serving is good for 2-3 persons, but it's more like 3-4. They really have big servings. And food has big taste. Money worth it! Also had their sisig, which also dis not disappoint us. Unless you want your sisig to be with egg on top, then you should try it out. For me, since im more into vegan food, tried their poque poque eggplant wrap. Eggplant was so smooth and tasty and it was cleanly wrapped with lumpia wrapper. Crunchy and tasty! Will definitely go back!

I knew that Lilac 10 will be a home for new restaurants to try.. 3 new restaurants at the ground floor and we opted for the least visited, Nicandro Lutong Bahay which was still on soft opening.

When I stepped in, I immediately fell in love with the place. I loved their lighting and the accent wall with the window panes.

Their menu hosted a wide array of Filipino dishes - beef, pork and seafood. I was craving for Sinigang so we had Sinigang na Bangus sa Bayabas (Php300+) that night.

I loved how that they were able to make me feel that it was my mom who cooked the dish. The soup base was made of freshly squeezed bayabas and the fish was cooked to perfection. Lutong bahay indeed.128076

I'm definitely coming back to try their Kaldobo (Kalderetang Adobo) and Bagnet.
