Nikkei is a Japanese Peruvian Cuisine serving Tiraditos and Ceviches , Sushi 127843, Sashimi , And craft cocktails 127864 , wine 127863 beer 127866 and Spirits !

I’ve been hearing a lot of Nikkei before , it was located in RADA St. Legaspi Village Makati and glad they have another one at GF Phase 2 At the Podium.

Went here last August 21, had dinner date with hubby. We had fresh rolls 127843 and temaki.

127843 miso salmon roll - miso , salmon , sesame seeds ,mayo, togarachi,cucumber . 5 pcs is 180 pesos

127843 Causa Roll - Causa, almon skin, cucumber , teriyaki sauce , mackerel , chalaquita, cilantro emulsion. 5 pcs 180 pesos

Then for our main we had their Salmon Belly 128031 Salmon Belly truffled tempura with ponzu sauce for 450 pesos plus additional rice 127834.

Salmon is very healthy to eat and rich in Omega 3 fatty acids . I feel heavy when I ate it all 5 pcs .

The ambience at Nikkei Podium was really nice 128525 perfect for dates 128149

Food was delicious but pricey. I came knowing that Japanese food doesn't come cheap, but their servings were pretty small for the hefty price. Delicious but not that filling

Here’s a nice place to eat at. Cool design and good food. I had the Tuna Mango Roll, Chicken Teriyaki and Japanese Sencha Tea. The chicken had a bit of cartilage but, taste-wise, fantastic for me. It wasn’t swimming in teriyaki sauce so the flavor was really in the chicken. The tea came in a french press but I couldn’t care less because it really went well with the food. I wasn’t able to try their homemade ice cream but the meal was great as it was. It did set me back a bit though. Around P800 just by my self but good Japanese food never comes cheap. Anyway, just be careful when looking at the menu prices because the roll was listed at P125 but I paid P180 for it so taxes and charges are not included in the stated price.
